We loved the views of the oceanfront in the backyard. The floor plan of this house was nearly perfect for our family needs, having separate private spaces with bathrooms for each family unit. The location is secluded and yet we found plenty of fun things to do nearby.

A fabulous house where we have enjoyed spending a magical week in 3 of the last 5 years. It is ideally situated and well provisioned. There is something for everyone. The perfect extended family retreat.

We could not have asked anything better ....Pumpkin Point had it all and more! It is a gorgeous home in an ideal location. The house was spotless when we arrived. The view is exactly what you want in a Maine coast home - the pictures almost don't do it justice. You could enjoy the views from most rooms of the house and the front porch without going down to the dock, which was great for the older generation in our family. We watched seals swimming and fishing right in front of the house while we had coffee in the mornings! The kitchen had everything we needed to feel at home cooking and the bedrooms and baths were stocked with perfectly clean linens and towels. There was plenty to do just hanging out at the house but also short drive (20 mins) to Rockland and a little farther to Camden, two lovely towns with shops and restaurants. We would definitely go back to Pumpkin Point in a heartbeat.

My family and I traveled up to Maine from NY and Florida to spend a week at Pumpkin Point. Upon arriving we were amazed by the house and the view. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. The staff at Summermaine are responsive and helpful (we worked with Jennifer Maynard). The only issues we found were that the house wasn’t as maintained as we’d hoped. The front steps were loose and moved when you stepped on them, floor boards on the back porch were lifting, trees were growing in the gutters..... while we know it is a rental property, for the price we anticipated pristine. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for the week.

We so enjoyed our stay at Pumpkin point! Gorgeous views of the bay and a spacious house with an awesome kitchen to cook in. Very relaxing and we loved the cozy fire place. Would certainly return!

My family of 9, along with our 2 toy poodles spent a wonderful week together at Pumpkin Point. The home itself sits on a beautiful piece of shoreline. We were able to swim from the dock, sun on the rocks and forget about clocks!
The house was very clean, very spacious and very well equipped. My family never felt crammed together. We appreciated the full size washer and dryer. We enjoyed the owner's collection of books, as well as the owner's telescope. We used it to stargaze, view wildlife and spy on passing boats.
Although we cooked in for most meals, we did enjoy take out from nearby McLoons Lobster Shack.

Spectacular views and well appointed kitchen
We absolutely loved this place! We’d love to return! We had 40 adults in our 50s and the rest were all our children and friends in their 20s. There was something for everyone!! The kitchen has EVERYTHING! We cooked at home for most meals and were very happy with the kitchen. Fresh seafood from Jess’s Market is nearby and fantastic!

It was absolutely gorgeous!! We had 2 couples and 6 young adults in their 20s. There was something for everyone! We cooked at home almost every night and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, and tools we needed.

Pumpkin Point is the most incredible home we’ve ever stayed in. The view as soon as you open the front door welcomes you with the glistening sea in the background. The home is immaculate! Boats, birds, the ocean breeze, and a beautiful home...a little slice of Heaven. They even have a telescope so you can see the lighthouse off in the distant. SummerMaine was wonderful. The entire rental process was really easy. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!
