Such a nice place to stay. Beds were comfortable and location was great. Plenty of parking on the street. No complaints at all. Would stay again.

We loved staying here with our 8 year old! The rooms were bright and clean, the furniture was comfortable and modern. Jo Ann was very responsive to my questions ahead of our stay. It’s in a great location: just a few minutes walk to the stretch of shops and restaurants in downtown Gloucester.

Perfect location. Plenty of street parking in front of house. There are plenty of towels, extra sheets, kitchen utensils, and toilet paper :). Dunkin and Walgreens about 2 blocks away, with a couple of food places. Then there are many other places within 1/2 mile. Will definitely be back!

Excellent location! We went to attend some family gatherings and to enjoy the greasy pole event. This property was well maintained, clean and a perfect size for family with a couple kids. Owners were super nice and helpful. The location is amazing- you can walk right to the beach and the downtown is just up the road with great shopping and restaurants. We walked to the carnival for the event and even better the parade came right in front of the house. Couldn’t ask for a better stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well-stocked and had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and outside noises were minimal. Everything is within easy walking distance (groceries, transit, restaurants, etc.). Would definitely stay here again. (If you want to go into Boston, take the MBTA for $10 per person on the weekend with unlimited transit stops. It takes 70 minutes and the scenery is worth it. Also, check out Good Harbor Beach relatively nearby if you like a kelp-free beach and lots of sand.

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was clean and close to many cute stores and restaurants. Even though I could here the upstairs tenant every time they would walk around, I would definitely consider staying here again!

My sisters and I enjoyed our stay in Gloucester. The accommodations were perfect for us. The unit was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Getting around was easy. We took the train to Boston. One suggestion we have is to maybe have mirrors in the bedrooms. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

A new tub is needed in the bathroom, rusting & releasing black residue. Water & ice dispenser on refrigerator not working.

We were in town for a vacation and family wedding. The house was neat, clean, and had everything we needed during our stay, and the location was perfect! We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go. We loved Gloucester and all of the amazing restaurants and cute little shops! Would definitely come stay again!

Clean, plenty spacious for 2 couples/kid. Walking distance to downtown attractions and close to beach, easy parking.

If you want to witching walking distance to maritime museum and downtown shops this is a great place to stay

The home was lovely with plenty of space and a nice location, walking distance from food and the ocean. The host was available for any issues we had during our stay.

Perfect central location if you want to adventure up to Maine or go south of Boston. Good sized ground floor level unit. 2 separate bedrooms on each end of the house. Fit our family of 4 just fine (we didn't make our kids share a bed, we just stuck one of them on the couch). Great air conditioning and the washer and dryer were a bonus as well as the beach chairs and towels. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Jo Ann was super easy to communicate with if needed :)

We had a very enjoyable stay at this property. It was within walking distance to restaurants and other area sites. It was very clean, and spacious enough for 4 adults. Jo Ann was a great host and was very responsive to any question I asked. I would definitely book this place again.

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay between Christmas and New Years. We loved that this property is so close to all the charm of the downtown shops that we could walk to anything we needed, as well as centrally located to all the sights one must see while visiting Cape Ann. The kitchen and bathroom are very well stocked and there was nothing we were missing. Jo Ann was quick to respond to any text and always very accommodating. A lovely vacation spot and extremely thrilled to have found this gem.

Stayed for long fall weekend. Spent time in Salem for Halloween and in quaint Gloucester. Great host, great space. Clean. Amazing location. Looking forward to coming back some day.

Jo Ann is very friendly and made the stay very enjoyable with great tips and making sure we had all the information we needed. Would highly recommend for a long weekend or family vacation!

I stayed here with my wife and school-age son for 5 nights in August. The house was very clean and spacious for a 2BR cape. Kitchen had everything we needed. Bedrooms are on opposite ends of the house, which was ok with an old enough child, but may not work as well for little ones. Great setup if you have older kids or 2 separate couples. Check-in was a little later than planned so we just took more time at the beach. The location is a short walk to shops, restaurants, and a small local beach, and a quick ride to the bigger beaches. The host was very responsive to questions, especially as we were trying to judge the path of an incoming hurricane. Luckily the storm stayed away and we were able to enjoy our time in Gloucester at this lovely home!

We were a family of four (mom, dad, two young adult children). This two bedroom, one bathroom home was perfectly and generously sized for us. The house is recently updated and all the furnishings, bedding, kitchen appliances, etc. seem like new. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates, pots, knives, etc. We used the nice toaster oven a lot. The sheets, pillows and towels are high quality and the beds are comfortable. The host is working on getting an AC - this will help a lot with comfort when it is hot - we opened windows and used a fan but it was still a little warm. There are window units in each bedroom that help in those rooms. The house is really cozy and decorated well. The location is great. We had Thai to go from a Thai place two minutes away (walking) on a rainy day, and there is a large liquor store one minute further. My girls found a fun bar they enjoyed going to down the street. Downtown is a short walk. Good Harbor Beach is an amazing beach to visit (parking is $30/car). The host provides beach towels, a couple of chairs and umbrellas. The umbrella and towels were very handy! If you have small children (toddler to pre-k), Crane Beach in Ipswich is extremely family friendly, with very calm water ($40/car). Rockport is a short drive and should not be missed! Cutest little town with adorable shops and gorgeous views! In Gloucester, our favorite restaurant was Yella by the Water - delicious. This was our first trip to Cape Ann and we had a wonderful time - many thanks to our VRBO hosts!!!

Beach, sea tours (whale watching, deep sea fishing), restaurants, liquor stores: all nearby. Moreover, owner was very nice, flexible with check-in time, and responded quickly to resolve any issue (e.g. carbon monoxide alarms went off during our stay, apparently as a result of electricity outage in the whole neighborhood; we were assured by friendly neighbors that this had never happened in the last 20 years at least. Yet, as expected, owner's response was quick and appropriate).
