We were sad to only stay three nights. This house has lots of character and we felt comfortable the whole time. After a long day of driving from Albuquerque with several stops, it was great to walk into this house and feel at home. The views were a delight. We spent a day at White Sands and relaxed with a takeout dinner from a local restaurant. The next day, we traveled to Carlsbad and back. It was a comfort to have this house to return to. We spent much time on the various porches and decks. If we ever come back to Alamogordo, we all want to stay here.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very comfortable and spacious with great views of the city and mountains particularly at sunset. The indoor pool was a lot of fun and the perfect water temperature. We highly recommend this rental if you’re staying in Alamogordo!

Great property with great view and no neighbor. Rooms are spacious and the kitchen is very well equipped. We would have like to have more hangers in the closets. The lower rack of the dishwasher is not fitting properly. Last thing is the pool guy was in at 9 am without notice when we were still in the house

We greatly enjoyed our 2nd stay at The Hacienda. We loved our time there last summer so much we decided to stay for 2 weeks this time! The house is absolutely beautiful, the pool was enjoyed many times. Our young adult kids especially loved it! The kitchen is very roomy and well stocked. Had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable. The new air conditioning unit is working great and much appreciated due to the extreme heat while we were there. The family room is very roomy and comfortable for our family of 6. Having three full bathrooms was so nice! The location of the house is perfect, as it is on the outskirts of the city, in the foothills. It’s private, quiet, but also close to everything in Alamogordo, White Sands, etc. The views from the multiple decks are amazing. We really enjoyed watching the sunsets in the evening, and there are great views of the city and White Sands. The laundry area in the garage was so helpful for our longer stay. The sleds kept there were handy to take to White Sands. Edward was very attentive to any needs and questions that we had. We have family in Alamogordo, and we love this house so much, we hope to be able to stay there every time we come to visit!

This house was everything that was advertised. Watching the sunsets from the upper deck was fantastic. The pool was great. There were plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and towels. We used the sleds that were provided for the White Sands National Park (a must see). We would definitely stay again.

The house was located in a quiet, beautiful area in the foothills of the Sacramento Mountains and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fantastic, and the bedding and towels were very high quality, which made it feel like luxury accommodations. The pool was amazing and such a fun addition to our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

This house has lots of amenities. I love vrbo and have rented many houses. This house had soap, pool towels, slides for white sands and more. The views are amazing, sunset on the deck was beautiful. Highly recommend this house to anyone wanting to enjoy white sands, the space center, or the zoo.

The house, pool and overall accomodations were wonderful. Only isses were lack of bath towels and temp of house. In the afernoons, the house would really heat up.

House was wonderful. Girls loved it and the pool. You do have some boards rotting that could cause you some problems in the future. Living room fan and pool fan didn't work but we spoke to owner about this. Other than that everything was great. We loved our time there and just relaxing when we weren't taking in the sites!

We enjoyed every moment of our stay! The house is beautiful with a wonderful layout. The pool was a huge hit which we used regularly! The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. We took advantage of all the outdoor lounging areas with beautiful views. We look forward to staying here next time we visit! This place is the best!!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were in Alamogordo for a basketball tournament & this was the perfect place! The owner was so easy to get in touch with, he responded quickly and was very flexible with accommodations! The home has a BEAUTIFUL view! We will definitely be booking for another stay!!

It was a quick trip and just me and my husband. But check in was easy and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. The saucers for sliding in the sand were very fun and handy. It was a comfortable place with overall easy access. I definitely recommend it for two and it would also be great for a large group.

This property is perfectly located to get to all the things in the area that you might want to do - White Sands, the wineries, and the Space Museum. The property is nicely appointed and the indoor swimming pool was a hit with the kids! I would definitely recommend.

We loved our time at this home in Alamogordo. The kitchen was well stocked, the views were amazing for watching the sunset over the mountains, and my kids loved swimming in the indoor pool. Very clean and cozy house with plenty of space for our family of five. I highly recommend this home for families traveling to the area. We would definitely stay here again.

It was easy to find good directions. It was beautiful by the mountains. Very clean and presentable. Lots of room. Very quiet area. We enjoy the peacefulness. The host is very responsive. He doesn't ask for much at all. I felt he had everything well stock as to having enough dishes pots and pans and bathroom amenities as well. Very nice area. I would stay again. The master bedroom the bed was very comfortable love it as well.

Loved having the heated indoor pool but we only used it once. Great location for us to visit White Sands National Park, Valley of Fires, 3 Rivers Petroglyphs, towns of Ruidoso and Cloudcroft and a 3 hour day trip to Carlsbad Caverns Nat'l Park. We cook meals and the kitchen could be better appointed with more utensils, like teaspoons, paring knife and kitchen towels/dish towels. However we were delighted to see a crackpot. We filled, forgot about it, and came home to dinner. 1 King, 2 Queens

We stayed here for one night following our visit to White Sands Monument. This is a great property, very clean, and our kids enjoyed their time at the pool. We’ll definitely stay here again!

After a full day hiking and sledding in White Sands this was the best way to end the day. The kids loved the pool and the layout of the house was great. The view looking out over town was amazing at night. We will stay here again on our next trip through NM. Thanks for sharing your home with us.
