House was cozy for the 4 of us but could have definitely held a few more people comfortably if needed. Great deck and amble back yard which led right down to the lake. Would book again!

Perfect for family stays. A lot of activities. Beds very comfortable. Ice maker not working. Bring Ice. Stores 16 minutes away. Extra fridge down stairs. We spent many hours playing nickle/dime poker at the card table down stairs. Then sit around the camp fire. Tested the kayaks. Had a lot of laughs. Hot tub was not ready for us. Very dirty, but after I called, someone came out and got it all cleaned up and ready to go. New concrete Patio under the deck . It was very nice. We put a couple of chairs there. Hopefully they will put a couple tables and chairs in the near future .for a shadey place during the day

Pros: beautiful property, easily accessible, comfortable beds, good wifi, close to wineries, indoor and outdoor games available, great grill with beautiful outdoor seating area, amazing small kitchen appliances (coffee maker, air fryer - LOVED the air fryer) Cons: limited kitchen supplies for cooking, including basic kitchen needs (cooking spray, condiments), no instructions on how to operate the hot tub (you have to use a breaker switch also, the Bluetooth doesn't work in the hot tub), master bath shower curtain had black mold, the thermostat didn't work because it had to be charged (luckily out of 4 of us someone had a charger that fit), one ceiling fan/light in the living room was broken, pillows are extremely flat (BRING YOUR OWN!!), This is not the house to plan to swim in the lake! It's a small dock only with dirty water filtering into a pipe drain.

Our family of four and a dog loved this relaxed comfy home. With 3 large bedrooms, a loft with futons over the great room, and a huge finished basement with bunk queens and bunk twins we had a hard time choosing who would sleep where...too many options! We joked that all of could just sleep on large u-shaped sectional. We were delighted to find more amenities and activities than were listed: board and table games, puzzles, books, pingpong, darts, air hockey (currently missing puck and paddles), yard games, volleyball, and more. The three kayaks (2 one person, 1 two person) 1 large paddle board and assorted floats were really appreciated. The community ramp is immediately adjacent for anyone with a larger boat. We were a little surprised to find that the location is at the very tip of a long inlet on the lake. It takes a bit of paddling to get out to the main body of water. The huge deck facing the water is great for lounging and dining. We were pleased to watch the owl in a nearby tree. The hot tub was welcome after an afternoon on the lake, it is however, starting to show its age. The small outdoor fire box is well used but still very serviceable. We found that were cut logs around the property but nothing that was split and no small wood. There were plenty of broken and fallen limbs to collect for kindling and we had a fine fire one night, but others may need to bring wood from elsewhere. Some recent renovations have been done to the house and property; we would love to come back again and see what else has been updated.

A perfect weekend for 3 families with young kids. Wonderful property with great outdoor space and access to the lake. House was well appointed with everything to make our weekend comfortable and fun.

Cabin is awesome. Spacious but cozy. Lots of amenities. Comfortably fit our big group of 12. 5/5 would return.

The pics don't do justice. Everything was impeccable. There were plenty of comfortable beds to go around. The hot-tub was great. The canoes and dock with the little inlet from the lake was perfect for the little ones and the older kids. The wrap-around porch was beautiful, with great seating. The lot was very private. It could not have worked out better.

The cabin was nice, clean, perfect for our family. Our only disappointment was we were not able to swim in the lake at the property, there was too much algae growth. Of course we realize this was of no fault of the owners and we did enjoy the kayaks. All in all we had a great, enjoyable time.

The property was exactly as listed and extremely clean! However, for the cost, we did wish that either check-in or check out times were either earlier or later to maximize our stay.

The house and property were a wonderful fit for the ten of us! We loved the comfy living room and large couch for playing games. The outdoor tables provided plenty of room for us to all sit and eat together, and the umbrellas made it comfy despite the heat. The inside of the house was very clean, wonderfully air conditioned, came with sheets and towels, and with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It would have been great if the Adirondack chairs had been cleaned beforehand as they had some pretty substantial cobwebs and spiders. The lake had a lot of scum so we didn't use it, but it was still beautiful scenery. This might be true of all rural areas, but at night, the amount of gnats drawn to the lights made it impossible to stay outside. The house is managed by a private company rather than the owners, and they were very responsive when we would call with questions. The management company only supplied a few dishwashing tabs and garbage bags for a party of ten, and when we called to ask if there were more available, they said the company only supplies those limited amounts for free, and we would have to purchase more. That would be fine in a lot of areas, but we had to make a bit of drive to purchase more. It just seemed to lack some hospitality because it is run by a company rather than private hosts, and the decision to supply such small quantities didn't seem to make that much sense considering we were a larger party.

In addition to the corn hole, hockey/ping pong table, darts, board games, and books, there is also a volleyball net outside. We were able to play badminton and volleyball as a family. They even had inflatable floats in the closet. The teens were able to hook up their PlayStation in the comfortable seating area downstairs in game room. The fire pit was another great gathering spot. The hot tub was clean. There was even an outdoor propane patio heater making it great for cooler nights on the spacious deck. We used the stand up paddle board and kayaks - so much fun. Easy to get in the water from the docking area. The kitchen included many amenities such as an air fryer, rice cooker, and waffle maker. Not high end but definitely comfortable. Towels, toiletries, hairdryer, dishwashing and laundry detergent provided. Bring extra toilet paper if large group. We brought our own beach towels for the hot tub. There were left over things such as foil, trash bags, spices likely left over from other visitors. Beds had memory foam mattress that were comfortable enough. The area is in a gated community and felt very safe. There was adequate space between houses for privacy. Food Lion and a liquor store was about 17 minutes drive away. Overall, a well kept home with lots of things to keep everyone of all ages busy. Would imagine this would be even better in the summer as renting pontoon boats and jet ski are close by. Highly recommend.

Kids loved the fun loft and the gorgeous basement teen hangout with card table, comfy chairs, bunk beds, air hockey and ping pong, separate tv area and many many games. We loved the master bedroom being on separate side of home, the hot tub, views, waterfront, neighborhood, everything. While I first thought the price was steep, it was totally worth it! What a fabulous place and the kitchen had literally EVERY cooking implement you can think of. You won’t regret coming here, we had just a fabulous time, kids even tried out Stand up Paddleboarding, in February no less. Thanks so much for a clean home too, and easy check in and out.

Patel’s cabin is very comfortable, clean, and spacious enough to accommodate a large group of people. We really enjoyed the outdoor and indoor options for entertainment. We didn’t bring a dog, but the cabin has a perfect set up for dogs. The cabin also has everything we needed as it is very well equipped.
