Very well-stocked with everything you need for cooking; great back yard for relaxing; very quiet area. Found the walk to the beach a little too long for schleping, but no big deal to drive to other beach access.

It was such a cute place with everything we needed for a couples getaway. Our bed was very comfortable! We are already talking about the next time.

Girls trip was a blast here. Everything you need including an ice maker, wine fridge, comfy beds, clean, and kitchen was well appointed. The pillows were lumpy, so pack your own. We were ok in the living room but would have preferred a more comfy couch. The weather was great so we enjoyed the patio. So close to so much (Warren Dunes, Three Oaks and Journeyman, and Red Arrow Roadhouse) that this is an ideal getaway. We’ll be back.

Cottage is very charming with upscale amenities. Outdoor screened in porch was a great addition. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed our stay!

This was the perfect spot for a little fall getaway. We enjoyed being tucked in the woods, but not too far away from town. We will return!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Charlie’s. It is a darling little home close to everything. We will definitely be booking again next year! The kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need, we loved that part usually when we stay in a VRBO the kitchen is lacking. That was not the case we made so awesome meals and enjoyed time with our friends.

This cottage was great for our family of 3. Plenty of space & amenities. My son loved the spiral staircase & riding his bike around the neighborhood. Process & communication we’re super easy & convenient.

Very peaceful. Close in proximity to New Buffalo public beach and Washington park beach. Walking distance to Michiana beach (saw beautiful sunsets). Well stocked kitchen, bathroom and linens. Perfect little getaway.

Great location and beautiful lawn filled with trees. The home was clean, stocked with kitchen supplies and new appliances. Only issue was the upstairs bed being very uncomfortable/broken frame.

The house was adorable. Just how it looks in the pictures, with a well-stocked kitchen. The furnishings were lovely and it was roomy. The three-seasons porch was just adorable, with a lovely space heater it was wonderful to cuddle up in front of with a hot drink. (In the winter- it would be great in the summer, too.) Our biggest complaint was the hot water. It would run hot for a minute or two but then turn lukewarm and then frigid cold in either shower. The rest were small annoyances. The master bed rattled and clanged when we first sat on it, and we found the middle supporting legs were entirely disconnected- when we mentioned this to management, we were told it had apparently "always been that way". The electric to the porch was non-functional, and we had to trip the circuit to get it working again. Early in our visit we had to squash a large cockroach, though we only saw the one- it's clear they have been doing pest management, so hopefully the problem is well on it's way to being resolved. The house would have also benefited from extra linens as it was quite cold, and the heat was set to drop down to 65 over night. But overall, we had a nice stay. There were good restaurant options nearby, the bed was very comfortable (though the living room furniture was not), the yard was spacious- it's a lovely little get away, just needs a little work.

We wanted to have a nice quiet getaway. This was the perfect spot. The home was quite, cozy, and clean. It was an easy to walk few blocks from the lake. You could see deer in the yard at night or in the morning. I would recommend this to anyone and would rent it again.
