This place was exactly what we were after. Perfect in every way. Beach was easy enough to get to, kids had plenty of space to play, had both the balcony and the screened-in porch as sunset viewing sites… I could go on. In short, if this is the kind of lace you’re looking at, this is the place you want.

The house was beautiful and spacious for our extended family. The beach is very close and not crowded. If you have an older adult in your party, be aware that there are lots of stairs.

Our family of 16 enjoyed staying at The Green House! We celebrated my Mom’s 80th birthday. Lots of time together as a family playing games and enjoying the nearby beach. We were able to drive my mom to the stairs so she could have an easier time getting there. The two blocks walking to the stair access was a little workout since it was hilly.

This was our second year in a row staying at this house. The house is great for us (three families…lots of teenagers!) Everyone had enough space and enjoyed all the amenities of the house, hot tub, ping-pong, video games and the fire pit. Views to Lake Michigan are stunning. The access to the beach is down the road over a hill but definitely worth the walk. It’s one of our favorite in Michigan! I would definitely stay again!

Perfect house for our family vacation. Sunset views are amazing! Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and nice bath and beach towels. Our host was responsive and helpful.

The house was very nice. We really enjoyed the patio area with the firepit, hot tub, swing and seating. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes and glass wear available. Nice views of the lake and we appreciated the honesty of not having access to the beach across the street.

Our family really enjoyed staying in the house for the weekend as we enjoyed the lake and the neighborhood!
Plenty of sleeping arrangements and a large kitchen to cook meals in was amazing. And the view of the lake from the large living room windows was fantastic as well!
The host was very nice and helped provide some recommendations for spots to check out around town.

We had an absolutely fantastic visit! The house was lovely and huge -- the perfect spot to meet up with a bunch of old friends.
We enjoyed the views, the fire pit, the hot tub, and the proximity to the beach. What was especially nice was how well-stocked the property was and ready for us -- everything from firewood to cookware to towels was available, which made things so much easier.
Communication from the host was very clear and timely. Truly, this was one of the best VRBO stays I've ever experienced and it made for a great experience.

House was exactly as pictured and wonderful for our big group. Lots of beds and everything was clean and well stocked. Would recommend to anyone! It was a bummer that the beach entrance two blocks from the house was closed up for us in late April, but certainly not an issue with the property itself.

I don't think I've ever stayed at a cleaner rental property. It's a great house to have separate sleeping areas away from the gathering areas. Everything you need is included, the house is well stocked and feels like a home. Amazing view of Lake Michigan to wake up to and just steps from the beach. We would recommend this property to anyone staying in the New Buffalo area.

Great home with lots of space for our family that traveled from NY to Seattle for a week on the lake! The house was well provisioned and we had good communication with the owner. 2-block walk to the beach was hard to beat and the hot tub, fire pit, and screened in porch were all put to good use. A great vacation home!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. We have 11 in our family with plenty of room and comfort. We enjoyed hanging out at the house. Spent a lot of time on screened in porch and kitchen/family room. Short walk to a beach. Only about 10 minute drive into main town of New Buffalo. Warren Sand Dunes about 20 minute drive- loved the hiking there. Good communication with property manager. Great time by all. Thank you!

We enjoy this day mainly because it was near the lake. Because we had booked it late in the season we did not get right on the lake, but the short walk was no problem. The house was accommodating with the different families involved would like to have had one more bed in the basement. There were a lot of steps for me grandma but I survived. We love the porch off of the kitchen and the large table in the dining area love the outdoor fire pit which we used every night. Have no complaints about anything with the house.

The house was very nice and well suited for three families with teenagers to have some fun together! We cooked meals, played games, and of course enjoyed our time on the beach. Lake Michigan is a short walk away to a very nice beach! The views of the lake from the house were spectacular! We would definitely recommend the house!

This property was in a great location with stunning views of the lake and amazing sunsets. Although the beach access point across the street was closed for restoration it was a quick walk down the block where there is plenty of beach to use. The house was as described and we enjoy all the great outdoor spaces, hot tub and fire pit were great!

Tripti’s place was the perfect home base to celebrate my sisters birthday weekend with family and friends! The location was great, just a short walk to the beach and an amazing view of the lake from the porch and balcony. There was tons of space for our large group and the house was well stocked with towels, blankets, and all the kitchen supplies we could possibly need. Check in was seamless and easy, and Tripti was extremely responsive.
We would definitely recommend this house and hope to come back sometime in the summer!

Potentially good location when construction around home is done. Strong tobacco odor upon entering home. Sheets and towels had musty mildew odor. Nice kitchen and common area. Sorry to say…..We will not go back to this house for our fall family gatherings.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for my sister's bachelorette party. The house was clean and spacious (beds for the whole group!) with great amenities and a spectacular view of the lake. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. We also had a lot of fun going out in New Buffalo- the town surprised me (lots of people out and about late!) We hope to be back soon!

This house was perfect for a family get away!
The property had everything we needed, including some extras rentals don't often have. The screened in porch was perfect for early morning coffee and later night family time and the upper deck was great for sunset. Although not on the water directly, the views were stunning. There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and be comfortable. The kids especially liked the first floor space and ping pong table. The neighborhood reminded us of Northern Michigan and the beach up the road was quiet and had the best skipping stones.
We would definitely stay here again and are already looking at dates for next summer.

This property is ideal for a couple of families to gather at the lake and enjoy all manner of indoor and outdoor time together. The kitchen, dining area and great room are optimal for everyone to be with one another. There are also plenty of spots to rest, or to enjoy a relaxing view of Lake Michigan. Loved the fire pit, swing and all the amenities.

Couldn’t be nicer, but…
This was an absolutely beautiful and marvelous home! It could not have met our needs as a family better. Spacious, comfortable, inviting, and the best were all words used by the family to describe this property. The owner was unusually gracious and kind in dealing with any issue that arose. He also provided wonderful hospitality gifts that the family oohed and aahed over.
The but in the title has to do with beach access in front of the property being washed out and the constant construction going on across the street. The owner really couldn’t do anything about either of these. But both served as significant disappointments during our stay.

Great family retreat!
House was great and neighborhood was beautiful. We loved having the guest house to create separation when needed, but the main house was a great place for the entire family to come together. Views of the lake are incredible!
