Keinerlei Beanstandungen

The staff were extremely kind: thank you so much for your help.
The breakfast was absolutely great!

We loved the whole place and the room. all very welcoming especially as we speak very little Italian. it was a pity the restaurant was not open on the Monday evening as it would have been nice to eat there. but we cycled a bit to find a pizza place also very good.

Very charming Agritourismo. The women that manage it were very hospitable. We regret that the restaurant was closed the night we stayed there. The room was much better than excpected. The beds very comfortable. Highly recommended!

The farm produces fresh eggs from its chicken coup onsite (no noise from these hens), and also makes spreads sweet & savory, which appear at breakfast.
The swimming pool is a nice size.
There are screens on the windows in the room, which are a great help to letting fresh air inside, while keeping flys and bugs outside. Therefore I did not have to you the air conditioning.
3 generations of women operate the AgriTurismo; the youngest, Sara, is the only english speaker. Her grandmother started welcoming guests, and her grandmother's, grandmother initially purchased the farm - therefore 6 generations of heritage here.
The owners allowed me to use a bicycle for free during my stay.
The water in the tap and in the shower has a high degree of sulfur, which smells like rotten eggs. It is the same in the pool however laced with chlorine and other chemicals which hurts your eyes when you are underwater. There is a shower near the pool, however you much walk across a gravel foot path to reach it. I would recommend paving or putting brick on this path, and also down the steep driveway leading off the main road to the property because the gravel is noisy and impractical both on foot and for vehicles and bicycles.
The Breakfast had low quality food items, except for the eggs & spreads, however the eggs are not made to order - only fried and salted. I would recommend asking guests how they would like their eggs cooked - as many people are on a special diet - such as egg whites and no salt satisfies heart, cholesterol, blood pressure, and vegetarian diets. Please replace the cheap white processed sliced bread with country style rolls you would expect to see on a farm. Same for the cheese, as all this reflects badly on what is inherently expected on a farm in Italy.
I arrived on foot, using public transportation which brought me to the nearest town of Governolo, and then walked 3km (36 minutes) to the farm with my bag. I advised staff ahead of time who informed me that the structure was closed until 15:00 (3pm) but that I could wait on the porch in the shade. When I checked in for 4-nights, I was asked for my passport, which I did not receive back until 2 days later, then shown to my room. Given what I went through to get there and not knowing about the water situation, I was not offered a small bottle of water which is otherwise customary. I guess in the end I never felt welcome despite being polite and respectful, while keeping my room clean neat and organized, and making a minimal impact. The other guests, on the other-hand were much more friendly and personable to me and each other than the staff cared or bothered to inquire and find...

Everything was great. We were delayed in arriving before 8pm and the host waited for us. She even found a late night pizzeria nearby for us to eat since we only had breakfast that day. The rooms have modern furniture with old charm of an Italian country home. Kids used the pool the next day and didn't want to leave. Amazing host, family BnB with 3 generations running it , available for anything you need. I would love to stay here again next time we are in the area.plenty of parking space. Breakfast was good. Restaurant was not open the night we stayed so no comment. Did not try the wifi. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Elena and her family are outstanding hosts. On their working farm they have integrated modern rooms that are very comfortable. The pool is big and one can easily spend an afternoon on a lounger beside it gazing into space - or more precisely over the fields. Breakfast is copious and good (ask for fresh farm eggs, they are really good). In the evening (except Sunday and Monday) dinner is available and very good value. The farm is tucked away where the Mincio flows into the Po, a historic region within many historic places, famous and less famous. Mantova is a stone's throw away and so are many other attractions. You can learn about the only rice that has geographical protection, visit an 'acetaria' to learn what balsamic vinegar really is etc., etc. It's really worth staying longer than one night and look for the hidden gems.

The ladies in the kitchen were amazing. Their ability to speak English was non-existing, but yet they really tried their best to communicate with us and did everything they could to make our stay pleasent!
The pool was cool and clean. Not so many chairs, but we managed to share with the other guests.
The room was really nice, clean and cozy. Slept well in the bed.
Breakfast was really good, and so was the food at the restaurant. No need to go anywhere else to have your dinner!
Can definitely recommend.
If you don't speak Italian, don't expect the best treatment at the restaurant from the waiters in the evening. They don't speak English, and don't seem interested in trying to understand you, even though you try speaking a bit of Italian. Our waiter even made fun of us in front of the Italian speaking guests, which was uncomfortable for everyone. However, she softened after a while, and at least the food was spectacular!

The diner in their restaurant is nice, but they could present a menu so you know prices. The pool is a nice addition.
Breakfast was so so and the staff is hard to communicate with if you don’t speak italian.
