We had a great time at this property. Great location – across the street from the main Wisp lodge. Awesome hosts. They even left treats for our pup :)

We had skiers and non skiers in our group and the coziness and location of this home made it perfect for us! Great places to eat and shop nearby and easy access to the slopes. Check in and out process was simple and efficient and the owners were responsive and informative!

This cabin was even better than expected and had it all: 1. Easy check in, clearly communicated in a timely fashion 2. Terrific location, right on the slopes and close to town. Nearby grocery shop and quality restaurants. 3. New, modern cabin, very clean and stocked for your convenience. We brought along some left over fajitas and were bummed out to realize that we forgot the tortillas. Imagine the amazement when we turned around to see a pack of tortillas on the counter! And the hot cocoa station. The smores pack was enticing, unfortunately the fire ring was encased in snow and ice during our stay. 4. Very spacious hot tub, well maintained and clean. 5. The hosts were accessible, hospitable and responsive but not intrusive. 6. The cabin was very functional, not only the well stocked kitchen, but the large screen TVs with Roku, washer and dryer, and fireplace. PS. Make the time to visit Swallow Falls State Park. We ventured out near dusk on the last day of our stay and were so glad we did! Beautiful little hike through the rocks, hemlocks, and pines along the river with some amazing views of multiple waterfalls.

Our family decided to try something different this year. We wanted to go away and very happy we did. We enjoyed the accommodations, how clean the house was, and the proximity to the ski slopes. We took a variety of walks and even saw the baby bears. Great weather and we would recommend to friends. Thank you for the great experience. Hope to come back again.

Our stay was wonderful. Our hosts were easy to work with and kept us informed from the moment we booked. The property was very clean and we had everything we needed for a long family weekend.

We had a great stay! The place is really clean and everything is really new. There is very little carpet so you do not need to worry about allergies from previous pets. We traveled with our dog and there was a good area for the morning walks. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept well. The hosts were very responsive and there was a nice welcome package of s’mores and coffee.

The property was clean and comfortable. The TVs were plentiful and all worked well. The back deck, hot tub and fire pit were great. Everything was very comfortable and close to activities in Deep Creek Lake. One improvement though would be some better knives in the kitchen. It is frustrating and also quite dangerous to have knives that dull and cheap. But overall a great stay. Josh and Aly Guyan

This was a wonderful place to stay in. It was a short ride away from the lake or hiking trails. Jill & Brian made sure we had everything we needed & then some. It has 3 big bedrooms each with its own bathroom very spacious. the basement has arcade games, small pool table. This is a location that you can visit summer for the Lake & winter for the skiing which is right outside their door. Thank You for a wonderful stay

We all loved the indoor and outdoor space at the cabin. The game room was perfect when it rained. Very convenient to have bathroom access from each bedroom. Wonderful, relaxing get-away. Highly recommend saying here!!

The house is very clean, and it has everything you need and then some. The owners really put a lot of thought into everything. The game room was a huge hit for us, and we had lots of family competitions going on. We also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The s’mores station was a very nice treat! The house is located at the base of the wisp ski resort, and we had a great long weekend. We would love to come back in the winter!

Convenient location, super clean, and something fun for everyone. The arcade room was a hit with everyone and the hot tub was great for relaxing at night. We left feeling refreshed and rested, which isn't always the case when you vacation with kids!

This property is very well maintained. Perfectly located for those who love nature but do not want to be in the "deep woods". Beautiful views of the Wisp slopes, great spot to watch the sunset on the deck, or take an evening soak in the hot tub. This house offers an amazing retreat for young and old, whether you like gaming in the rec room equipped with a pool table, skeet ball, pinball machine , and Ms. Pac Man arcade game; or if you enjoy curling up with a book in front of the gas fireplace, or roasting marshmallows and making smores around the fire pit. We were able to do it all and we had a ball! It was a beautiful, peaceful, and fun time. Already planning our return!

The cabin is brand new and well appointed. It's more spacious than it appears in the pictures - plenty of room for everyone! The location next to Wisp was PERFECT for our weekend of skiing. Easy trek over to the slopes... no car needed! Which was awesome as it allowed everyone to come and go as they wanted. The front of the house and deck (and hot tub) face the mountain, which makes for a beautiful view. The game room was a nice touch and we really liked how they had all the main streaming service apps downloaded and available on the TVs. Really great property... will definitely stay there again!

This is our 13th annual snowboarding trip. We've been all over the place, from Snowshoe WV, to Killington Vermont, to Breckenridge CO. And with each of these trips, no matter where you are, the gathering place in the evenings is equally as important as the mountain your on during the day. We have certain things we look for and this place checked all the boxes. 1. Hot tub 2. Walk to and from the slopes 3. Room for us all to move around (big gathering areas) We also had the added bonus of a nice fire pit this year! The place was super clean, had everything we needing in the kitchen as we always cook and bring our food. They also provided coffee and some sugar and creamers for us! Hand soap and tp in every bathroom. Perfect amount of towels for our group of 10. The couches were super nice. Lots of space to stretch out, even with the size of our group. Arcade game, pool table, etc on the first floor. Walk across the parking lot to the slopes. Easy access! Check in, check out process was seemless. Great renters, great communication. We will be back! Zero complaints!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Slippery Slope. The property was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved sitting in the hot tub watching the skiers and snowboarders going down the slopes. During the evenings we spent most of our time in the lower area enjoying the arcade games and pool table, and watching movies with our 3 children with ages ranging from 7 to 19. The kitchen is wonderful for cooking meals and preparing snacks, and there are nice restaurants very close by. Jill and Brian were fantastic about communication leading up to our stay and while we were at the property. Thank you both!! My wife wants to make a stay at Slippery Slopes a tradition around Christmas, and in the summer. That in itself is the best endorsement I can give- we had a great time. Thanks again! Sean Sleeman

We were looking in the area for a place with a hot tub and that was dog friendly. We found everything we needed and more. First of all, this home is big enough that 3 or 4 couples can sleep comfortably (Plus two pull out sofa beds for even larger groups.) We only used one bedroom while we were here but I think we gave 3 or 4 virtual tours to friends to show them the space. The game room was a really good time too. We spent hours having drinks and listening to music while playing games. Every room has a Roku TV so you can log into your pandora, Netflix, Hulu or whatever and enjoy it while you're there. The auto log out feature is also nice so you don’t have to worry about logging all of your streaming apps out. Now onto the house itself. Beautiful. Everything was so clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable and the fireplace really helped keep the living room warm. We cooked a couple meals in the kitchen and there is laundry available downstairs. We were in town right when they started to make snow at Wisp. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the hot tub and watching the snow being blown onto the mountain. Overall a great time. The communication from Brian and Jill was great throughout the entire process. All of the instructions for checking in and out were delivered ahead of time and were detailed which made the whole experience easy. This is definitely a great property that is so convenient to the ski slopes in the winter and a short walk or drive to other local restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
