We had an amazing time staying here. It’s a great place to bring your boat. Nice neighborhood. So many extras, too. Amazing sunsets! Just a wonderful place to stay!

We have been to NC coast many times and this location is amazing! We barely even left the house because it was a fantastic place and had so much to do! Already on the to do list to book again for next year.

This is our second stay here in the past year and likely won't be out last! The unique home is perfect for both families and friends. The weather wasn't perfect during our most recent visit, but the home was the perfect place to relax and unwind. During our less-wndy days we enjoyed the kayaks, making it to Permuda nature reserve. Daily fishing off the dock/deck yielded a 24" red drum! The nearby beach access was pleasant with clean, stocked bathrooms. Overall a fantastic stay!

Wonderful time at this house. Close enough to spend the day at the beach. Beautiful quiet sunsets on the deck over looking the sound. The house had everything needed for our stay.

Beach house is in great location , and quite roomy ! Appreciated the early check in and late check out ! Thank you Sallie !! Some updates needed to inside carpeting and furnishings , but all in all would return for location , assessable kayaks and bikes! We had a great time !

Perfect for family. The description/pictures do not do justice to how nice the home is. The space was clean and more than we expected.Plenty of beds! Great view off back porch of Surf City Bridge & sound.

The location of this property is quiet and the view was beautiful! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the back deck and even saw a dolphin one evening. The location is close enough to the beach to walk if you don’t have much to haul. We also found various beach accesses with paid parking that were not far from the property. The bikes and kayaks were a nice bonus! We loved being right on the calm water and spent quite a bit of time kayaking and fishing right behind the rental. The property has been well maintained, was clean and the flooring on the main level is newly updated. We would highly recommend this property!

There was lots of amenities. We enjoyed crabbing and fishing! Beautiful views and beach not too far away. Owner is friendly and communicates very efficiently. Thank you for the hospitality!

My family of 7-10 people have vacationed at several NC beaches over Thanksgiving the last 6 years and this was by far the best home we have rented. We used the bikes, kayaks, fished off the deck, and enjoyed many meals cooked in the well stocked kitchen. Went to several bars/restaurants in the area and the locals were all very welcoming. The outside shower with hot and cold water was an added bonus.

Our stay here was great. The house is huge. We took advantage of the all of the house's amenities. We caught fish from the dock, kayaked the canal on into the intercoastal waterway, biked around the neighborhood and over to the beach access for a stroll along the beach. We ended our days sitting on the dock watching the sunset. Our vacation exceeded expectations. This house deserves more than 5 stars!! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation. The location and amenities were perfect!! The kitchen is well stocked, the kayaks and dock/deck made fishing awesome. Our host is very easy to communicate with and very responsive We will definitely be back to this property.

We had such a lovely time at Sallie’s home! My girls and husband loved fishing off of the dock. We all enjoyed kayaking in the sound. And the house was just as described and wonderful. Our girls were too small for the bikes, but we would definitely have used them if they were bigger. The neighborhood is quiet yet a short ride to the Friendly Market and the Trailer Bar, which we thought was a hoot. We ended up buying an $80 week pass to park at the beach…the walk was too far for us but others without so much gear may be okay. Overall great stay and excellent communication with Sallie! I feel like we are friends! Looking forward to returning! Thanks Sallie!

Outdoor space was great! 3 levels of porches and one enclosed was very enjoyable. Lagoon views were beautiful and peaceful. Sunsets gorgeous! Inside clean and updated! Would love to come back and stay!

There are so many wonderful things about this property. The location and amenities were great, you cannot beat the views from the decks! Our week started out a little rough with the state of the home when we arrived, but with communication with the owner, we worked through it and enjoyed the rest of our time. Kitchen was nicely stocked, which is a big thing for me. We had plenty of room and the beds are very comfortable. We would consider renting this property again.

The house is in a perfect location & we loved fishing off the dock. Plenty of room in the house for our crew of 10 to spread out & not be on top of each other. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is fully supplied with dishes/pots/pans & silverware & the house is decorated so cute! We will definitely be back to stay next summer!

There were no surprises with this location!! The property has been renovated, with some updates & extremely comfortable! The layout is awkward, but manageable for our Family with young Boys. I could see that if you had multiple adults, the showering situation could be difficult. We found the upstairs shower to be too small for our comfort. This house is a great home-away-from-home even staying 2 weeks!!!! We rented a golf cart to go back and forth which for us, was a MUST!!! Id never walk with all our stuff to the beach...it was no manageable for us with all our stuff! (ha!) Sallie (Host) was amazing!!!

Renting the property was super easy, the host had great communication. My family really enjoyed the kayaks and the fishing dock. Lots of room for the whole family to spread out in the home.

I highly recommend this beautiful vacation home! It was incredibly clean and there is so much room. There are decks everywhere to enjoy the amazing view. All of the ammenities are provided for you. My daughters loved the kayaks and bikes. Thank you!

I have been coming to Topsail every year with my family for 30 years. This home felt like home. My parents had a rental on the beach and my husband and I had this on the sound and our house was WAY better than theirs. This is by far the best rental I've experienced in 30 years. It was awesome to have kayaks right there and to be able to fish any time. Everything was so clean and well stocked as far as utensils and cooking supplies go. I can't wait to have another adventure here! Sallie was so awesome to work with too. I would recommend this rental to anyone, especially if you have furry family you want to travel with. It was literally like being home.

Excellent, special stay! Loved the sound view with boat dock. This was the first experience bringing our boat to the beach/sound and docking it at a vacation rental, and it was so amazing and canals/sound was beautiful. This was such a special trip for our family - beach was so close and fun as well. Our first time to Surf City and we really loved Surf City and the small town beach feel - everyone was so friendly and neighborhoods well kept and maintained. Owner was awesome/easy to communicate with on any issues. The things I really appreciate as a 'mom' was the 2 sinks in the kitchen and the atrium room which is screened in - a wonderful/peaceful sitting area for morning coffee and enjoying the sound/wildlife in morning and at sunset. Kayaks were awesome - our first time trying and it was great. We drove our boat to a restaurant with docks at Surf City Bridge and it was just spectacular - I prefer Sound front home over ocean front - while both would be a blessing, sound front is quieter and more serene - but that is just my opinion. This house was so special with decking on all three levels and great closets for putting away clothes, also washer and dryer very accessible on main floor. Bikes were great too - just so much to mention - we had a fabulous time - we have rented many vacation rentals, but this one is special and we hope to make it back. Thanks to the owner for the thoughtfulness that went into the rental home, as well as affordability - I hope that remains. We look forward to returning, hopefully!

Stayed for the week of Springbreak. Daughter and her friend enjoyed riding the bikes into town and exploring. All three kids enjoyed the kayaks. We all enjoyed hanging out on the marvelous docks and fishing. Great stay and hope to go back soon.

Walk out your back door with your morning coffee to a gloriously unobscured vista of the sound and native waterways. A quick peddle on the bikes gets you to the dunes in two blinks, for a relaxing day at beach. The house itself has room enough for everyone; to feel together, yet still have some space if gathering with the WHOLE whole family. Absolutely loved our stay! So thankful. We’ll be back!

The property was great. Amazing view of the sound (bring your binoculars for bird viewing), we loved using the Kayaks and Bicycles. Every morning enjoyed coffee on the third floor porch. The property was exactly as described in the listing. Zero complaints. Sallie was an outstanding host with prompt communication. She provided personalized touches for our visit and suggested for activities for us during our stay. We hope to return again.

We had a great visit to this beautiful home! Gorgeous sunsets, views of the sound, kayaking everyday and easy access to a beautiful beach! The home was clean, very comfortable beds, well stocked and the owners are so thoughtful and responsive. Also lots of decks and porches to enjoy being outside. Obviously we were not ready to leave this great place. Enjoy!

Beautiful home and safe location, very clean and it has everything you needed. Kayaks and bikes were a big bonus! The view of the canal is breath taking! We plan to return.
