The property was absolutely beautiful and even better than the pictures! My husband and 3 kids and I really enjoyed our stay, and the view is so peaceful. Stacy was wonderful. We hope to stay again sometime!

We enjoyed the location: close to Echo Lake and associated hiking, nice roads for running (ran on the fire road also) Fun places to get groceries and meals nearby. House was outfitted with everything we needed, and everyone slept well. Loved watching the tide! We communicated to the owner that we would arrive in the middle of the night - arrived to find all of the lights on in the house so we could find bedrooms and bathrooms quickly and safely - we really appreciated that!

Property was beautiful inside and out. Provided us a wonderful place to spend time together and close to great outdoor areas. Stacy was great in responding to any questions we had.

We were very pleased when we walked in the door of this special home at this very special location. The house had plenty of room for our family of 8. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The place exceeded our expectations. It's lovely and roomy for our group of 6, especially the 2 rooms upstairs. The common area was also nice and the view was beautiful even though it mostly rainy during our stay.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The house was even bigger and nicer than we expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We visit the Mt. Desert Island area almost every year, and had not previously stayed in a private home. Our host provided a pack and play for our 15 m/o and our teenager got a beautiful big room with a private bath and viewing porch all to herself. This is probably the way we will stay in the area moving forward as it provides great comfort and flexibility. Property had a beautiful view of the harbor, lush grass, beautifully manicured gardens, even a peach tree with plenty of fruit for the kids to enjoy. There were many areas to sit, both indoors and out to enjoy the view. There was a gas grill, a coffee maker, great kitchen with the utensils and dishes required for our breakfasts and snacks and certainly for preparing full meals. A lot of work has been out into this property and it shows. Washer and dryer are new and everything is newly renovated. A/C and easy to open windows. Smart TVs and internet. Very convenient to Southwest Harbor and Acadia, and very private and quiet. Our only wish is that we had booked more than three nights and there was a little less rain during our stay so we could have enjoyed the grounds more. Host, Stacy, was very responsive and professional. Note: Bring toilet paper and paper towel if you plan to stay more than a night or two.

The property exceeded our expectations. Luxury for the extended family. Ideal for elderly parents with two bedrooms, bath, and laundry on the first floor. Great view into Bass Harbor with tidal waters at the edge of the property that attract seabirds and Herons.

Mount Dessert Island is a lovely location for a summer vacation if you enjoy seafood and the outdoors. Rental was located in a nice quiet area with near by access to a small grocery store and multiple restaurants. House is beautiful, well furnished and has a great yard for poutdoor activities.

From the moment we walked in the door, the entire family was taken back by the pure beauty of the home and grounds. We were so pleasantly surprised by all of the updates. We truly felt it was our home away from home for our entire vacation. We enjoyed the added furniture that allowed all 6 adults to hang out for meals, games, and much needed down time/ relaxation. Watching the tide fluctuations and harbor life, and enjoying the beautiful landscaping was definitely a favorite of mine (the open views from the many windows, patio, and porch are breathtaking). Stacy provided detailed and quick responses to my questions prior to our arrival, and was extremely kind in providing new hairdryers when I had asked if they were available. I was even fortunate enough to meet the owner during his early morning visits to check on new sod and continued landscaping improvements during our stay. We were not bothered by this as the worker and the owner both tried to be very discreet/ quiet/ non-intrusive. We had one minor concern, and Stacy was quick to respond, remediate and follow-up with us the following day. Everyone in our family loved this location on the quiet side,, the home, and the property. We all hope to come back again! (This is a huge accomplishment considering we are all somewhat particular and always have high expectations!!). THANK YOU!

The house had a perfect setting. The house was well equipped for cooking & relaxing. The grounds were filled with wonderful plants & shrubs--like a magazine. All great!

My family and I stayed here recently and were extremely impressed with this house. It had been recently renovated, so the house is now even nicer than the photos included with the listing. The location is great - very quiet and secluded feeling, but with ready access to nearby restaurants and Southwest Harbor. There is plenty of room for everyone to gather together or to have their own space as needed. We'll definitely return here next time our plans take us to Acadia.

My group of 4 adults had such a pleasant stay at this listing. The check-in process was easy and Covid-friendly. House and property are much bigger in person and the place is decorated very well. Kitchen was very well stocked so we were able to cook dinner and breakfast. Located 30 min away from Acadia Ntnl Park Visitor Center, it was a great location for us away from crowds.

Great Property. More than advertised. Close enough the fray. Far away enough for some peace and quite. My wife was coveting the Kitchen in every way.

We had a group of six adults from our family all staying together at this house on MDI. The house was nicer in person than the listing photos make it seem! It was nice having ample bedrooms but also some common areas to lounge and spend time together in. Being able to walk out and enjoy the water front and see how different it looks as the tides go in and out was a pleasure. Despite being maybe half an hour from Bar Harbor proper this property is still close to restaurants and a grocery store in the surrounding towns. There are also hikes nearby that are part of the National Park only 15 minutes drive away. As a bonus of the location is that it was quiet and peaceful, especially at night! We loved this house and could see ourselves staying there the next time we go back to MDI!

This house was in a great location being 30 minutes from the Visitor Center at Acadia. We loved being close to Southwest Harbor for restaurants and activities. The house itself was wonderful. We loved sitting outside on the deck each morning and evening along with the enclosed sunroom. Everything needed was provided especially in the kitchen. We even saw deer on the property. We would happily stay here again!

Our family enjoyed an outstanding stay on Ann's Point in early August. The owners greeted us warmly when we arrived. The house was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was available and up to date. You can not beat the location. It's a great place to just sit back, relax and watch the world unfold as the tides change. Breathtaking sunsets! It is very close to restaurants and shopping in SW Harbor and Bass Harbor. We were able to explore all that Acadia has to offer in the high season without getting caught up in the crowds. Highly recommended!

This is an amazing property that satisfies at every level. Water views, gourmet kitchen, beautifully appointed, tasteful gardens surround house, comfortable and quiet property within 8 mins of downtown Southwest Harbor. A quick ride to Bass Harbor lighthouse. Perfect quiet and comfortable property. We will most definitely return.

The house was just as advertised, on the quiet side of the island (which we were looking for) and had all the amenities we needed.
