Needs more light

We really enjoyed our stay here! The condo was well furnished and clean, and we enjoyed being right on the ski slope. We enjoyed walking around the property and it was very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely come here again!

Very clean, new kitchen appliances, the whole condo was just so very cute! Beautiful resort and convenient to Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns and Monticello. Highly recommend this rental for summer and for winter.

Was a little challenging to find, so definitely recommend planning to arrive during daylight hours. Beautiful location & the unit was really nice. Communication & flexibility w/ scheduling was great. Overall a really good experience.

The location of this property made the stay even easier with little kids. The beds were super comfortable. The floors were heated. A feature that I never knew was so amazing until it was experienced. Very clean and great expectations set before arriving. Thank you so much for hosting us for the weekend!

The condo was an excellent location for all of our family. It was extremely helpful for the beginning skiers to be so close to the lifts. We would definitely recommend this condo.

This was the best condo we’ve stayed in at Wintergreen! Beautifully decorated and very clean. Cozy and comfortable! Directly in front of the Dobie lift, wonderful to ski in and ski out! My family will definitely try to stay here again!!

We stayed here three nights to kick off 2023 and loved it! The location can’t be beat and it was so clean and spacious for the four of us. We would love to go back!

We loved our stay. Had a wonderful visit, loved the sunken room and fireplace - so cozy! The kitchen had everything we could possibly need plus some. Super easy communication for any needs or questions. Only recommendation - it’s time to upgrade the master bedding and mattress.

My husband and I used the property for a nice quiet getaway. And it was just that, nice and quiet. The condo was nice and clean and well maintained. If it was winter/ski season, you could not beat the location - literally right next to the ski lift and slopes. The only small thing I would suggest is cutting back the bushes in from of the deck. They had gotten so big that it hampered the amazing view we should have had. Other than that (and obviously that is very minor) we loved the place.

The location of the unit was where we needed to be. The living area allowed for easy conversation, coffee on the porch, and kitchen that allowed us to concentrate on the visit rather than having to go out. Thoroughly enjoyed. The Market nearby had all our needs! Will return in the future when in the area.

Overall the condo was great. Furniture was very comfortable, as were the beds. View from the balcony would be great if the hedges had been trim down to below baloney height. Water pressure AMAZING! The only 2 big down falls for me were, we were not made aware that there was construction, going on, leading to the condo. Had to walk on rubber makes over dirt. I just had major neck surgery, so that was challenging for me and then the was a large amount of grease in the bottom of the oven. But overall I would stay in the Condo again. Great location.

Very nice property, well appointed, and could not be in a better location for skiing at Wintergreen.

This property was perfect for my family of four. The ski in/ski out location made it so easy! This property had everything we needed and was very comfortable. And adorable! Although I missed having my sweet golden doodle on this trip, we decided that we would sacrifice bringing the dog in order to stay at this location again.

Pros: Overall a great property. If you're at Wintergreen for skiing you can't get any closer to the lift and ski area than this, literally walk right out the back door, take a few steps and you're there! Everything was clean and there was plenty of firewood for the fireplace. Another pro: the owners and property managers are extremely responsive. When we arrived we had issues with hot water in the unit, which they quickly helped us resolve. Unfortunately due to the extremely cold weather, some drainage and water pipes had frozen underneath the unit, so we had no hot water for showers. The property manager came first thing in the morning, and worked diligently in the crawl space under the unit in single digit temps to fix the issue! Con: The unite relies on a single, fairly old window heating and AC unit for heat. When we arrived it was very cold in the unit and it took a full day to get everything warmed up (I should note that we did have frozen pipes below the unit, and it was extremely cold that weekend), but it may be nice to update the heating unit and make sure it's running to warm everything up prior to check in. Once everything warmed up we were perfectly comfortable and cozy.

We had the best experience at Wintergreen and the location of the condo was unbeatable. You could step right out onto the slopes and go. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect condo for our Wintergreen getaway. The layout offered bedroom/bathroom privacy. The condo was well stocked and you can’t beat the location, just steps from the Dobie lift. We’ll be back!

First of all great communication with the property owners. Clear, concise and friendly guidance on how to navigate to the area, checking in and out. Couldn't have made it simpler. Greatly decorated and spacious property. Many local breweries, parks and trails nearby. Will love to return next winter for some fun in the snow. Overall great experience.

Great place to stay if you are looking for a ski in and ski out at the top of the mountain. Restaurants are within walking distance as well. Great vacation for the family.

The property was as listed. Great location at the top of the lift. Easy to return for lunch or bathroom run. Owners flexible with rental availability as we were scheduled to arrive on a snow/ice mix day and we were allowed to check in night before as owner arranged for cleaning to happen early- thanks! That said-we arrived after 7 pm in dark and mist/fog- and nothing was open on the mountain for a place to eat. No big problem as I brought emergency food. By the time we are settled in it’s time for bed. The next day is snow/ice and there is no traveling. Truck is frozen over so not able to use to go get items not supplied like bar soap, shampoo or more than one fire starter. Wood was available for fireplace outside condo on first come first serve basis. Covered areas were gone first as wood there was not iced over and wet. Fire starters were necessary as wood was also green. Luckily able to use pizza box to help light fire -from pizza place near main ticket office which was the only food we were able to find open on the mountain because of covid- and the pizza was really good. Market was not open when we checked it out. Rental ski equipment was sold out- had to buy a set of skis so my daughter could ski. Lift lines were extremely long on weekend- especially the one serving the green area which is right outside the condo. Lift wait time was 25-30 minutes -not kidding. Lift was a 6 person detachable but with covid restrictions it often ran with 2-3 people. There was a priority line for owners and members and Ski school which moved regularly- otherwise you waited. The first day -Saturday- I think we all did about 4-5 in runs in 4 hours. Lift times were better on Monday with no lines- but it was also rain/ice/snow/wind that day - and we had easily arranged with the owner to stay an extra day because the weather would have made leaving difficult. My husband and I both moved our Sunday lift tickets to Monday to avoid the lift lines. We had never skied wintergreen before- but it was driveable for all so we tried it. The snow was great- even with the ice and rain/snow mix. Black and blue runs easier than typical for same trail markings out west. We had a couple of issues arise during our stay and they were quickly and efficiently addressed by the owner. Overall I would say we had a good time and the condo was cute, clean and would recommend if you are going to wintergreen.

Nice cozy condo steps from the slopes. Good communication from owners.

You really can't get any closer to the slopes. 10 steps off of the back deck and you are skiing. This really is the perfect ski condo. We comfortably slept 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids) and enjoyed 4 days of skiing. The condo is well equipped, very clean, and well decorated. The convenience of being able to easily get on or off the slopes out the back door provided unmatched convenience, especially with young children who only ski for a couple hours at a time. No parking lot dressing sessions or long walks carrying skis. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Such a great place to stay. You can’t beat the location! The place was clean, cozy and comfortable! We are already planning a return trip. The owners were quick to respond to any questions. The check in and check our instructions were very clear.

This is a wonderful condo located directly on the slopes. If you want to step outside your door and hit the slopes 2 minutes later, this is the perfect condo! My wife and I took our 6 year old skiing for the first time and had the perfect experience. The condo is comfortable, well-maintained, cozy, and has incredible views of the slopes. I give this place a 10/10. The communication was absolutely stellar and we can't wait to go back! A++++

I stayed here with my 7 year old and 5 year old. It was so nice and easy to be able to park our car right there at the unit instead of across the street like some have been for us in the past. Really can’t get a better location to the slopes. We went right out the back door and just a few steps to the slopes. So easy with two small kids! Loved our stay very much. Very clean. Can’t wait to stay here again.
