We've stayed at a couple of places in this area, and this condo was terrific. Small, but has all you need to enjoy a beach and beach town vacation. We were steps from the beach, restaurants, shaved-ice vendors (my son's fave!), bike rentals, and the Bob Jones bike path and we wanted for nothing inside of the condo either. My husband and I stayed in the comfortable bedroom and our 11 year old son slept on the pull out couch just fine. When we come back to Avila - and we certainly will - we will look to see if this place is available!

The location made it easy to run back and forth to the beach or out for food. There was actually a new wall mounted AC unit, which was nice. There are a few art shops below that we barely heard. Nice and quiet. The garage was nice and big (room for mid sized SUV with cargo rack on top). It allowed us to leave our beach chairs, toys and towels down there. Close to SLO restaurants, breweries and wineries too. Loved the unit and town.

250 steps to the beach was my favorite. We can go in an out with ease and the places to eat was great too.

The place is very nice with everything you need. The bed was really comfortable too! The proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops was so convenient.

Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay. A couple of negatives we encountered: the patio and its furniture was soiled with bird droppings, the toilet seat was loose, we couldn't get the cable box in the bedroom to turn on and the smoke detector in the bedroom is hanging from the ceiling; all things easy to correct for the next guest.

The property was easy to find. Check in was very easy as well. Very cute little apartment. Quick walk to everything. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back. Hostess was very quick to reply to our questions as well.

Overall would stay again’

The place was located right off of the main boardwalk in Avila Beach. Location couldn't really have been better, although the listing should point out that there is no ocean view and that the townhouse/condo is right above a busy shaved ice store. But overall my wife and I really enjoyed out stay and would definitely stay there again

All as advertised and a really nice location. Would stay again!

The location is even better than we thought when booking. Not only is the unit barely a block from the beach, we didn't even need to cross a street to get there. The high ceilings make the unit feel spacious. It's nice and bright. We were very happy and would love to stay again.

Really nice place super close to the beach. Small but worked perfectly for us (family of 4 with 2 small kids). Very clean and well looked after. Would definitely return here.
