Great place with plenty of room and easy beach access! Plenty of outside room also!

Easy check in and everything was clean. Great view of beach from both balconies and an easy walk to the beach. Covered parking was a real plus in the heat.

Great place-ONLY negative: second bedroom is very small. Would be fine for children but beds and room too small for adults. Great view, kitchen/living room was very comfortable. Perfect for family.

We booked the townhouse for five days. The townhouse was beautifully decorated, with every appliance, major inconvenience, etc. available. But… Nowhere in the townhouse ad did they mention it was on a septic tank. We noticed the second day/1st morning… There was a huge puddle of water in the yard below the deck. Turns out it was the septic tank, and it was overflowing. Smelled terrible!. We called guest services every day, sometimes twice a day. Until finally on day three we were told they did not have anything to do with maintenance or septic. They would contact property management. And we never heard another word. None of the TVs would connect with the passwords provided, etc. Service man came out on day two & connected 2 tvs. The master bedroom tv was never connected… even though it’s called daily, service man, never returned. Septic tank was not emptied during our entire stay… We were hesitant/fearful to use the toilets, laundry, dishwasher, showers, etc. normal conveniences and live. For fear that it would back up into the townhouse. The smell was awful! The day before we left the lawn service people showed up and they’re riding mower was Making ruts in the sewage saturated grass. Finally that evening day four of our five the septic company showed up and emptied it.

The views from deck were nice. Plenty of hot water for showers and laundry even when you want to wash in cold water. The description is deceiving.. Unit is not well maintained. Needs repairs and a deep clean. We killed 2 large roaches, one in kitchen by sink and another in living room by storage closet.. Range is not level and only 2 of 4 burners worked. Pots and pans need to be replaced. Dishwasher never seemed to have hot water. We started it, went out and about, returned 2 hrs later. Lights were still on, cold water standing. Don’t know if they washed, but they did not rinse. We chose “cold tap water” setting on washing machine but it filled with hot water. The shed with beach things had a beach chair, a rusty bag chair and a broken bag chair along with several broken umbrellas and various parts. We purchased 2 bag chairs to have at beach. Prior to our arrival, I sent 2 different emails inquiring about coffee maker but never received answers. Upon arrival, we found several coffee makers but had to weed out which ones were broken and which were operational. There was electric and manual can opener but both were broken. This could be such a nice rental but it comes up short due to lack of attention from management. Freshen the paint, remove broken equipment, replace non-functional appliances, replace range.

We came down to watch one of our daughter’s compete in her National Competition with her drill team which happened to fall the same weekend as our youngest’s daughter’s birthday. The townhome looked exactly like the pictures! Loved the balconies on both floors! Just a short walk to the beach. It was GREAT!!! We hung out most of Friday on the beach only to leave when we got a little rain to have a birthday dinner then back to the beach again after the rain cleared up. Saturday was back and forth to the competition, just a short drive down to the main strip. I really liked this place because of how clean it was, how close to the beach we were, and how you felt like you were on your own private beach because there was hardly anyone there. Close enough to head into town yet out enough you are away from the crowd. Would definitely stay here again!!!

The townhome was perfect for our small family! We loved the location to the beach and the view from the balconies was great! There were a few small things that were less than ideal but nothing was a "deal breaker". The A/C runs very loud! There is no cable in this place. You would need to bring a streaming device like ROKU or Apple TV, something like that. The TV upstairs has Samsung TV but with limited channels. However, for us, this is not a huge deal. Just something to know in case it is a big deal for others. There is a grocery store within walking distance and a little place to eat, All of the main attractions of GI are about a 20-30 minute drive but for those who like peace and quiet like us, this was not an issue. I think with a few little tweaks this place would be even better but I definitely plan to keep the name to stay here again!

Easy proximity to the beach, cute beach decor, comfy space for a couple or small family to enjoy Indian Beach in Galveston.

Great location. Feels like a private beach.

The best thing about this rental is the location — it’s an easy drive into Galveston and since there’s no car or public access, it’s quiet, uncrowded and family-friendly. Beach access from the condo is via a grass/sand trail that goes along the east side of the complex. The unit itself is OK, but it really needs a deep clean, fresh paint, and a new fridge.

We loved the house, the lighting, the kitchen is very well equipped with pans, plates etc.... gorgeous views from the balconies. We had a very good time.

The condo unit was nicely updated with great beach accessories in the outside shed for use. Views of the ocean were great considering the condo is behind some houses. Straight shot view from the outside balcony! Very peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Clean, quiet home with plenty of room for our family with 2 teens. Easy quick walk around two houses and you are on the beach. Ocean view from the living room & kitchen. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

The property location was AMAZING with the private beach. It’s far enough away from the bustling sea wall for a quiet getaway, but close enough for a short drive in. We will definitely be back!!

The property was just what we needed for an easy family getaway from the north side of Houston. It’s an easy walk to the beach and also to the Seven Seas Grocery when you realize that you’ve forgotten to get something - which is a bonus anytime traveling with small kids!

We stayed over a week and thoroughly enjoyed the place and location, we would rent this place again in the fall. The owners did very well in their refurbishment and it's quite up to date finish out and decor, except for stove and frig which is understandable as they are functional. You can both see and hear the ocean from either porch, the lower porch has nice shade from the upper porch, and there is an umbrella on the upper porch. I setup a work spot on the end of the kitchen table and watched the surf crashing and rolling throughout the week. It would clearly be comfortable for the 6 or 7 people max that the listing allows. We didn't hear any noise from the adjacent townhomes, and met the friendliest person who guided me for fishing. The beach is quite close by, accessible either through the dunes on a footpath, or walk the neighborhood road to the short boardwalk, we always walked to i even carrying our chairs and stuff it's that close. It's pleasant that no cars on the beach are allowed which means that there are very few people on the beach - we walked one morning and didn't see a soul. It's less than 120 steps to the grocery store, although you should bring as much as you can or shop walmart when arriving - that store is expensive.

The Master BR has a soft foam type mattress, which I loved! There are curtains to pull across the blinds, but they are not blackout if you need a cave to sleep in. They did supply many white towels of decent size and fabric, for the average person, along with enough general items, shampoo, conditioner, soap, liquid soap at sinks, trash bags, laundry and dishwash soap, for a three day weekend or so. With as many electronics as we all have, bring a few extension cords, socket outlet 3 ways, will allow you to fully setup. Finally, on the checkout time of 10am, i feel that is bit aggressive for customers that stay 1 week or longer. Vacasa did offer extended checkout to us for some tens of dollars, which we accepted, but I suspect it was likely not rented that night, giving them some extra time.

We selected 4.5 stars for 2 reasons. (1) because there is a written note at the bedroom AC thermostat, that you cannot set it below 72 or it will freeze up in high humidity. This simply must be disclosed before renting - we have hot and cold sweats and we needed it lower. Fortunately, April is low humidity. (2) The cable part of the TV was not functioning, except in the guest room. This was not really an issue as we brought a FireStick to use on the main TV. I called Vacasa twice at the start of the vacation, and never heard from them to fix it. I recommend that the owners provide a clear TV and Wifi layout map and instructions per TV type and remote, for a better guest experience, offer their own contact info, and follow up with Vacasa on why we did not receive any contact for a full week after my two calls.
This is nearly a 5 star Place to stay!

Beautiful property but very poor maintenance and cleanliness need to put more input how to clean, sanitized and keep this rental disinfected.

Perks - This property is so close to the beach and was the perfect amount of space for our family. Downfalls - The fan and AC are rather loud which can make it difficult to sleep if you’re sensitive to sounds. King mattress has been well loved and could benefit from being replaced. We couldn’t get the dishwasher to work. And, sadly, most of the items we wanted to use in the shed (chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards) were broken. Even with all that, we still give it 4 stars. The location and less-crowded beach are nearly unbeatable for the Galveston area.

The house was perfect. Really cute, very clean, with everything you could need. Location was great too, far enough outside the town to be a bit quieter, but with easy access.
