Staff was amazing they keep us stocked in towels and amenities as well as keep the trash maintained will stay again

Pictures don’t match actual rooms. The place is really run down although they are doing some renovations. The base boards are discolored dor some reason. Carpet is torn and ragged. Next to shower rod was a hole in the wall. I don’t see how it was staying attached. The vent in the bathroom was bent like someone tried to pry it off. The Kleenex dispenser that was built in was about to fall out. The cabinet door that was covering the refrigerator looked to have been ripped off and reattached. The toilet wouldn’t flush very well. There was rust on pretty much anything that was metal including shower head pipe, all metal on the lamps. There was no coffee pot or microwave. The wireless AP in the room didn’t appear to work bc I actually install these type units. It looked covered in tar and stuffed in the back of the closet. But the real kicker is when my door key wouldn’t work and after reprogramming it 3 times the maintenace guy had to break into my room. The batteries had apparently died in the door controller and the screw to change them was stripped. So he broke out a crowbar and broke in the door. He advised to have my room changed the next morning bc this was at 11pm at night. So next morning I ask for another room and they said there isn’t another available room. So I had to wait for the maintenace guy to change out the door lock on my vacation time. I will NEVER stay at this property again! And the shuttles to the parks only run twice a day.

The only weekness is Breakfast!! Needs an improvement!

Great place. Room was clean and comfortable. Great service by the staff. Towels are small so if you are a medium size to bigger person then bring your own towels. But that is the only minor issue we had. Hotel was close to everything we were there to visit. Universal parks. Food. Shopping. Other entertainment. Would definitely book again.

The hotel have good ubication and infrastructure , but the service to the roons are so bad.

As soon as we walked in I was greeted by an employee that looked downright miserable working the front desk. The. I was instructed to go to another desk to get my parking ticket validated. At this desk they told me about this other property and tried to hard sell me. Since the woman wouldn’t shut up I told her I would do the viewing and they took a 40 hold. I told her NUMEROUS times I wouldn’t have time but she wouldnt stop. The room was alright. There was dog hair on the bed. Batteries in the remote for the tv was dead and the safe didn’t work. When I asked for my 40 to be refunded I was told I had to go to the front desk obviously to be sold again. I was not doing that so I had to eat 40 bucks. Completely pissed and I urge you to look elsewhere.

This is a motel and is not at all what I was expecting. Check in involved getting charged security deposit. I did not feel that this was a family atmosphere. My wife told me she did not feel safe and we left almost immediately after arriving to the room. I would not recommend

Came down for a quick trip for a family emergency - the only issue I had was after I stated I was there briefly and would have no extra time due to family emergency they try to sell you a vacation “timeshare” - the property overall was clean but the pictures displayed are not accurate - it’s basically an older hotel room- renovated but the bathroom curtain rod was haphazardly nailed in , the surround around the toilet paper wasn’t attached to the wall so when we changed the roll the whole thing fell out of the wall - no microwave (which was displayed in the picture ) - towels and linens could’ve been washed or bleached better and the pillows were so small the had to stuff the pillow cases in them to try to make the pillows larger. Bath towels are small, clearly well used and not enough to cover with just one let alone the two they give you . Had I not been so concerned with my family members and spent most of the time at the hospital I would’ve stayed elsewhere . Not impressed - but you get what you pay for I guess .

Hotel was clean and check in was easy. Pool was bigger than expected. Rooms are small, but for the price, worth it. Less than a ten minute drive to universal and less than twenty from disney. Breakfast was ready every morning.

Everything was acceptable and a good place for staying if you want to save some bucks. I would recommend though, don’t have breakfast there. It was horrible. The room was clean, towels were not the best quality. But if you’re on a budget, it’s a good place for staying

The hotel was an older hotel, housekeeping staff were excellent, front desk staff was very slow in checking people in, with the manager not being helpful at all. We did enjoy the attractions in the area, but traffic was horrible. We witnessed 3 accidents within the first 45 minutes of our trip. Orlando International airport was horrible when we were ready to leave. When we go back to Florida it will not be to Orlando.

Great hotel with excellent location very clean & comfortable . The reception staff very friendly. They clean the room every day.

At check-in, we had to pay a $45 amenities fee. Not sure what the amenities were since it is advertised "free" breakfast. The room had NO coffee maker or microwave...WHAT AMENITIES????

Great Location, we never had our towels replaced.

It’s was a good location. Lots of restaurants in the immediate area. Not much travel time to the theme parks.

The front door was shaky. We put a chair in front after we locked it with a lock that was loose. It was quiet there but that park made me feel uncomfortable. The bathroom has no exhaust fans and they fixtures in the room were rusted pretty bad. Tub kept getting backed up and the shower handle to turn on wasn’t on correctly. After fixing that we were able to shower. The outside was ok. Pool was nice.

This place is dirty. There were cops at the hotel every night for different reasons. The property owner was honestly the best part.

I spent 4 nights and I would never 👎 go back to this hotel. First day we had a problem with water sink that wasn’t drain down. The bathtub was falling a part and when we turn the water on the whole thing came out. The toilet paper holder is loose or broken. The A/C makes loud noise that would not let sleep 😴. We didn’t get a room service until we asked. There is aunt everywhere. I suggest you to spend another $100 and a get a better hotel.

Unfortunately we did not have an opportunity to stay at this hotel because when we went to book into the hotel that i had fully payed for 2 weeks prior there was not a room available. They had over booked. So i was left on the street at 2am with an 18 year old and no where to go, in a city/ country that was u familiar to me. It was a horrible experience. It took us an hour to find a hotel that had a room available and that hotel was the filthiest, scariest hotel i have ever stayed in so we left 4 hrs later.

The toilet and sink in the room was stopped up. I had to wait 2 day for the maintenance person to come the first time. The sink was ok after that but the toilet wouldn't flush right after. Me and my children had to use the restroom in the main lobby up until the day before we checked out. Thank God I had plans to be out during the daytime majority of my stay. Then the hotel charged me an additional fee of $170. Once I spoke to the front desk I was told it wasn't the hotel but the charge clearly says "Grand Hotel" in my transaction list. I reported it to my bank and they cancelled my bank card due to suspected Frau. I was not expecting that. (Housekeeping )I literally had to go to the front desk for sheets and towels everyday & tissue. It was just all around bad. I used the laundry machine & I had to wash my load twice. The first time it finished the clothes didnt seemed washed because they have the water set on low so I had to break the load down into two and wash everything thing again. Only 2 staff members I interacted with on the property spoke English or the others where acting as if they don't understand English. The towel rack in the bathroom was broken & the refrigerator was filthy.

Older basic hotel, does the trick when you just need a place to stay. TV was broken, but maintenance replaced it immediately which was awesome. The cable TV quality was poor, everything was fuzzy, no high def. Rooms were decent size. A/C worked well. Pool was small but nice. Decent amount of deck chairs and towels available. Included breakfast was ok, nothing fancy.

I was very pleased with my stay here, we had a very good free breakfast to choose from daily, workout room, pool, great weather, everything we wanted to do was within 3 miles of our place, so it was easy to walk to them for us. There was buses around that were inexpensive to use that we took advantage of one day in the heat of the day, and we caught an Uber to the airport. I would stay again if we come back.

Hotel is rundown, bed sheets were dirty and even blood stain on the comforter, huge cockroach in room too. only good thing was the location to universal parks is around 5minutes WILL NOT RECOMEND

A very simple, but convenient hotel located near tourist attractions. We enjoyed our stay

The property was not clean floors dirty, shower clogged sink clogged hard to communicate as almost everyone didn’t speak English, breakfast mediocre the only good thing was it’s right by icon park! Def would not be staying there again very disappointed

Note that they charge you an amenity fee of about $11 a day for the breakfast and the shuttle regardless of if you are using them and it's in the fine print of when you book. They charge you it when you get there, so I would factor that into your price comparisons of other hotels. The smell of the bathroom just kept getting worse and worse when our AC was not on 50 F full blast. I have no idea what the deal is with that, but it was in need of a serious bleach treatment. The beds were clean, and we double checked for bugs, though we did get ants in our room and in our suitcase which is super weird because we are not dirty people...Also the door would only unlock if we pulled up on the handle and not down. The breakfast was actually pretty typical and good, so wasn't disappointed there. The elevator was broken on one side of the hotel closest to our room though, so that was a bit of a bummer hauling things to the 4th floor. Overall, it's probably better than most budget hotels under a blacklight, but I would say if you're hoping for more cleanliness, you probably are best to spend the extra change. No microwave, but we did have a mini fridge.
