Property was nice and spacey. The only negative was the price. St. George is fast becoming priced out of range for average people. We have been staying a week on the island for years, but this will probably be our last time.

The fact that it ws our second year in a row stay at this particular property pretty well says it all. It has been updated a bit (paint, flooors, amenities, etc.) so we enjoyed it even more this yeer. Will be staying here again on our next trip to the area.

I was so surprised and delighted with all the upgrades when I arrived this year. New furniture, new floors, new mattresses, new stairs, new deck furniture, new TV and more. I loved all the improvements and that it still felt like the Dunescape I so love. Being able to watch the sun rise and set is an added bonus! And the location is fabulous!

Upon arrival the first thing we did was open the drapes. There was a sign on the curtain rods, and it fell on my friend's head. Also, the curtain rod on the right itself fell entirely once again on my friend's head when opening the drapes. I had to stand on something to put it back up. Otherwise the house was very well stocked and mostly clean. Beds were amazing. I has a beautiful view but use the back stairs whenever possible. The front ones are really steep. We enjoyed our stay very much.

While we were there, the families respectively hung out on the beach in front of their rental houses.), open floor concept (kitchen/living/dining areas), plenty of sitting/relaxing space (couches/chairs were comfortable), big sliding glass doors for viewing pleasure (beautiful beach/water views), personally I liked the bedroom/bathroom setup (2 bedrooms with bathroom between them on opposite ends of house) made it a bit more private, one bathroom has tub/shower, the other a shower, kitchen well stocked (we found everything we needed to mix/make/cook/eat on), we liked the small pantry for food items and other necessities, although the bedrooms and bathrooms are small-we had plenty of sleeping space (2 queen beds, 4 twin beds), you can find extra things (umbrellas, chairs, toys, Floaties) for beach/water in storage room below deck, picnic table for outdoor eating, a few wooden chairs for outdoor seating. Cons: location of washer/dryer (next to stove, door sticks out), size of washer/dryer (very small loads and takes a long time to thoroughly dry items), indoor furniture is a bit outdated and upholstery could do with a good cleaning as well as the rugs, floor sockets stick up a little bit, potential tripping/falling for little ones running around or elderly shuffling about (we moved a lamp over one socket and slid a couch over the other one to prevent tripping), (side note: when we moved sofa, we noticed quite a bit of dirt under it, plus a giant Lego piece and a small dinosaur), outdoor plastic furniture needs replacing. On our first night we did not have hot water. Called the next morning and was told that some houses have hard water which can cause the heating elements to burn out a lot faster than normal. They came that morning and replaced the element (or whatever else). Had hot water the rest of the week. Great communication and quick responses

Reviewer Comments: Had family in from Utah and Ohio and had a great time on the beach and watching our grandson play in the sand and getting splashed by the waves. Kitchen was nice and stocked with plenty of utensils, chairs in dining room and sofa in living room could be updated, rugs did not feel clean. But loved being in a house directly facing the ocean and watching dolphins swim by. Great to have the shed room with beach chairs, umbrellas and toys to use on the beach. We rented bikes, a kayak and paddle board, walked the beach for shells and just relaxed. Also tried several restaurants for the oysters and great seafood. Love St. George Island!

The house worked very well for the four of us. We had originally planned fo have our younger son, wife, and two young children (1 and 4 years old). Had they been able to join us, things would have been tight.

It was clean and comfortable. While we have stayed at maybe more "luxurious" places (and paid a lot more) I thought the place was everything we needed for a beach vacation at a fair price point. The property was exactly as described and I would certainly rent here again and/or recommend to my friends and family.

You can't open the oven door without opening the closer door first. The floors are uneven. It's obvious the home owners did the interior work themselves.
