Our stay at Edgewater Escapes was absolutely amazing. The property is stunning, both inside and out, and Andrea has made sure it’s been outfitted with every comfort and amenity. I stayed with my parents, brother and his family and our own baby, so we had all age groups and we all had a fantastic time. From swimming off the dock to using the kayaks and paddle boards, and making s’mores with the fire pit, it was amazing. We rented a tritoon boat for a couple days which is also highly recommended. Andrea is incredibly responsive and helpful as well. Would highly recommend!

This property was fabulous. We played with the paddle boards and kayaks and roasted marshmallows. We rented a boat from 77 Watersports. All 9 of us a a wonderful week. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at the house very much. We were there for a month and it had everything we needed for me to work from home and fish while we stayed there. I was able bring my boat down and I had it docked behind the house during our stay. The fishing was great and the lake wasn't too crowded since it was before the busy season. The lake views in the backyard are great and the property is very peaceful. The bedrooms all had televisions and were very comfortable and the kitchen had all of the amenities we needed. The host Andrea was very helpful and offered excellent advice on area attractions. The house was able to accommodate a lot more people than our small party and the entire downstairs area full of games would be great for kids. I would definitely stay at this house again.

Great property in a quiet cove that was perfect for our family! We will return in the future!

We had some seriously bad luck, with it raining almost the entire time we were there. However, the house was absolutely perfect for us. By far the most well stocked, cleanest, user friendly VRBO place we have ever stayed in. No detail is overlooked, from the very well stocked kitchen to the portable chargers conveniently plugged in on the bedside nightstands waiting for your phone. The video game consoles, the board games, and the spacious bedrooms all made our stay enjoyable, even though we couldn’t enjoy the lake.

We rented this house for a few days for business meetings and wished we could have spent more time to enjoy it while not working. The house was great, the view phenomenal, and it was exactly as described. Andrea is the host and was great to communicate with before, during, and after our stay. Highly recommend!

Our group was all adults. Stayed early October. Everything was as described. The only thing wrong was that we could not stay longer!! (Vacation had to end.) One of the cleanest rentals we have ever been in. House we well appointed. GREAT area downstairs to gather and play games. Lake location was perfect for our group. Host was very responsive and provided a lot of information about the local area prior to our trip so it made for easy planning. Would recommend and stay again.

Get ready to visit a dear friend or relative- that's what you will get when staying here. Top of the line everything including kitchen items and supplies. This was probably one of the cleanest )who folds those towels) and best maintained house we have ever stayed in. Ideal for a big family or group of friends- the neighborhood is beautiful and the lake view is to die for. Close to everything, yet far enough away to get away from it all. Andrea was a pleasure to work with- her instructions and helpful information really added to our stay. We would love to see them add a fire pit (we had the first crisp fall nights) but trust me when I say its PERFECT! Thank you for everything.

This home was perfect for our family vacation. There was space to be together and to be apart, as needed. All ages were entertained- and that’s with out using the basement game room!!! My favorite was sitting on the upper porch overlooking the water every morning. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

We booked Andrea’s home for a friends trip - people flew in from across the country for a long weekend away on Lake Norman. It took less than 45 minutes from the airport. Some people took an Uber but we had two rental cars as well. We ended up placing several grocery delivery orders for ease but there are plenty of options within ten minutes of the house. The house did disappoint, it was beyond well equipped with plenty of towels and nice bedding. That said, the real winner is the amazing outdoor space. We rented a pontoon for the weekend but ended up spending most of our time in the cover off the dock swimming, paddle boarding, and just having a great time! The neighborhood itself is gorgeous, lots of beautiful lake front homes. We went on several walks and runs (no sidewalks so be aware of sounds!). All in all, an excellent weekend away with friends.

This property was the perfect choice for our week of family fun celebrating a special birthday! The house is pristine and located on a peaceful cove with a wonderful view. I was so impressed with how well the house is appointed - the kitchen is completely equipped - quality utensils, coffee options, paper towels, dish and hand soap, trash bags, etc. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock and using the kayaks, SUPs, and life vests provided. My husband fished off the dock and caught catfish, bass and bluegill. The game room was a hit with all that was provided - and the kids loved their own gaming space! We loved our dinners on the deck every evening overlooking the lake. Our host was in communication with us - checking to see if we were settled in, offering restaurant and boat rental suggestions, and answering any questions we had. All of this added ups to a fabulous, fun filled week! It deserves 10 stars!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

Our holiday in this newly updated vacation home was stellar! The property was immaculately clean including the house, porches, outdoor furniture, kayaks, outdoor swing, hot tub, and dock! And, every area was completely equipped! The kitchen included a wide range of appliances, pots/pans, seasonings and utensils. The kitchen gear was fresh and useable! Many vacation rentals tout equipped kitchens, but this kitchen was truly equipped with gear that was not scratched, dirty, rusted and in ruins. Plenty of kitchen towels provided, paper towels, dish soap, coffee options galore, and also a special welcome treat from our hosts. The game room was stuffed with board games, the foosball and air hockey tables, cornhole, and a huge TV for the big games/races. And, the dock was equipped with life vests and kickboards. We enjoyed the kayaks and the SUPs in the quiet cove. Many locations on Lake Norman are to be avoided because of the crowds of boats on the water right behind the house. This is a quiet cove that affords peaceful swimming off of the dock and gentle waters for kayaks and SUPs. The outdoor swing and many outdoor seating areas on the patio and balcony were respites for rest, and the outdoor table and grill made the perfect setup for family meals overlooking the lake. Our host was very communicative and helped us with dinner recommendations for our first night and grocery store recommendations for our food purchases! What a wonderful place to spend a holiday weekend with a big family! We did not want to leave! We hope to come back! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

The spot on the lake is superb - it's in a cove at the start of a finger so you don't get big lake traffic and wake. The kids can swim right off the dock or use the kayaks and SUPs provided by the property. Our youngest (age 8) caught two bass from the dock. Renting a boat is as easy as going a few miles to Queens Landing and enjoying this upper section of the lake and all the fun spots to boat. To top it all off - the hot tub helps relax the day away and watch the night sky reflect off the lake just below. We'll be back...
