The place was clean and there was plenty of room.

The upstairs AC unit was only a fan so it was quite warm for my daughter, so she slept on the couch downstairs instead - not the end of the world. If it was more than one night it would have had an issue.

There was nothing not to like.

The location was downtown and easy to walk. The house had almost all you would need to enjoy a few days in town, including heaters, coffee and plenty of bedding. Someone else pointed out that this property isn't for the weak of knees and I agree. Thankfully that wasn't a problem for us and if your kids are stair deprived like mine, they might get a kick out of them. Lots of beds. There was room to spread out. I appreciated the decor, so many places I've stayed at keep the walls and shelves bare. The beach is a longer hike away, so if a couple miles is a stretch,you may need a car.

Getting ahold of management at times was tough. I never got a response when I reached out about my reservation, but I did get a check in while we were there. The cabinets in the kitchen felt like they were built for much taller people, so if you are under 6 feet, a stepstool might be handy. The master bedroom had a beautiful bed, but the mattress had no back support, so we switched off with the kids room. There wasn't enough seating at the kitchen table for a family of 5. We couldn't get the oven to work and I never got a response from management on that. An alarm went off at 3am and continued until we left after 7. My family wasn't bothered, but it kept me up. Management did finally get ahold of me after 8 and explained that one of the satellites failed, so all of the wifi operated systems failed. I appreciated the update, but that was a little late as we had already left.

Great location!!! We were able to walk to local shops and restaurants with ease. It was very peaceful and quiet which made for a relaxing trip.

Some wear and tear, spots and stains here and there but overall the penthouse was very nice.

The proximity to places and its really at the center is a plus and really good. Loved the area amd very quite , nice amd safe

The ad mentioned its sutibale for up to 8 people and we were 7. Two had to sleep on the floor and the second floor is not sutible for tall people as the cielling is low. One bath and o e shower caued people to wait and not really availble when you need it , the place ia good for 4-5 people no more . The price is abit over for what you get in return.

Penthouse is very large with a fully equipped kitchen and updated inside with new furnishings. Easy to park and well lit, within walking to the downtown shops.

Breakfast isnt provided to the penthouse guests, only the Whale Inn guests which is ridiculous.
