The apartment was clean with a cool industrial chic design aesthetic and a generous balcony. It’s very close to the centre of lovely little Céret.

There are two flights of stairs to climb if you have heavy bags. We were there in the height of the European Heat Wave and although the fan helped, the air conditioner was not up to the job. Kitchen tools are eclectic and the cooking space is small. We were unable to put up the large sun umbrella, which would have helped on the balcony. It seemed broken.

Kitchen was small and cramped and some of the equipment was chipped or cracked. It was very difficult to get into the shower because of the way the cubicle door was hung.
