Great stay and great hosts

Perfect location for quiet relaxation! Nicely stocked kitchen to prepare meals (limited off season eating options on Holden unless you cross to west inter coastal side). Beautiful views to the water from large sized, covered deck area. Perfect!

Everything was perfect for us. From the communication to the house - every detail…labeled switches were helpful…the BIG Wave artwork…power strips…dog friendliness…the porch… It was a perfect weekend!

Stayed at this property while visiting my gf s daughter. It was sp splendid. Dog friendly, spacious, and a 5 million $ view!! Owners made it so easy to check in and out. No issues and will def stay again

We had an amazing time and felt very at home and comfortable at Life is Shore-t! The owners have done a great job with adding creature comforts for pets as well as humans! The over the door hangers and power strips throughout the unit are such a nice convenience. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

We took our dogs with us. The house was perfect, easy to live in without worrying about the dogs who loved sitting out on the covered deck watching the surf & the birds. Walks along the beach were fabulous but sitting in the sun on the deck just watching the waves was even better! We were only there for 3 days but felt like it was much longer so recommend for a recharge, even if you don’t have a lot of time.

A spacious beach house with the best porch facing the ocean of any house I have ever seen. Kym was a great host, and she made it so easy. And Lucy, our little Cavaschon, had a wonderful time, too.

It is a lovely place and we were happy to be able to bring our dog with us. It has nice furnishings, facilities, and lots of thoughtful extras. We really enjoyed spending time on the porch. We had a couple of issues and the owners were very quick to help. The only real complaint was the mattress pad on one of the beds was in dire need of washing.

Great little beach house, all on one level and dog friendly. The house is very cozy and offered everything we needed. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the covered porch, the view, and short walk over the dune to the beach. We plan to be back.

Warm, unpretentious beach house with the perfect oceanfront porch! If you like cleanliness, nice comfortable furniture, thoughtfulness to what you might need during your stay - and you want to bring your dog - then this is the place for you. Looks just like the photos and the owners are very helpful and responsive. Only thing lacking was enough beach chairs - two of the few were heavy and need to be replaced. (I have no doubt that after this review, this will addressed,) If you don’t need fancy, suburban living at the beach, and you like to kick back and enjoy yourself with your pooch, then I would highly recommend this home.

Our family, a couple of friends, and our 2 dogs recently stayed at Life is SHORE-t! We had an amazing stay. The house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. The house is definitely pup friendly and our dogs had a great time. The outside hose and showers were very nice and helped keep sand into the house at a minimum. The location is nice, close to shops and restaurants, and you can't get any closer to the beach! The owners are very friendly and even checked in on us during our stay to ensure we had everything that we needed. I would definitely recommend this property and we will stay here again!

We had a GREAT stay - The house is perfectly located - right on the beach - The view off the back deck is second to none. The rocking chairs are perfect for just lounging and watching the waves. The open communication with the owners was also greatly appreciated. Highly recommend!

Great beachfront house! Very well outfitted. Holden is a wonderful family beach, and this house is in a great location. If you need a break from the beach you can walk to the beautiful intercoastal waterway in 5 min. Go and enjoy!

We enjoyed our week at Holden Beach and loved the house and being right on the beach. We could sit out on the enclosed deck with our dogs and listen to the waves crashing and feeling the nice breeze. In the early morning and late afternoon, we would take the dogs on the beach and they loved it. The house had everything you could need. Would definitely stay again.

This was the best vacation ever. So peaceful, relaxing and beautiful.

We had an awesome Memorial Day Weekend despite the cold weather. The house was just perfect for our crowd. The layout accommodates all and everyone had their own space. Our dogs loved the ocean front porch. The house was clean and had all the amenities one would need. I hope to come again.

We rented this beach house for a long weekend for my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary. (4 adults). We had a blast!!! The owners were fantastic and very accommodating. They clearly read the book on hospitality. Great communication and willingness to ensure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay. The home is directly on the beach w/ private access to the ocean. The home was clean, very well equipped, and spacious. For us, the back deck was the game changer. Large w/ several rockers, tables, and a picnic table and most importantly, completely wrapped so our little pups could run free and not be tethered to a leash the whole time. We'll absolutely rent here again. Also want to note that the AC is COLD!!! and there is lots to do in the area in case relaxing on the back deck overlooking the ocean isn't your thing.

I just loved the floor plan of this house. The deck view of the ocean was my favorite part, of course 😁 and the fact that they accept dogs. The proximity to shopping, restaurants, and groceries was ideal. I had so much fun shelling and found a lot of sea biscuits. It had everything we needed. It was the perfect Mother’s Day trip.

Our first visit to Holden Beach and we will definitely be back. The house was in a great location as it was within walking distance of restaurants, convenience store, ice cream, etc. It was fully stocked for our needs including some basic kitchen needs that most don't have. Direct oceanfront with a gated deck for our dogs to enjoy the outdoors. Hosts were in direct contact with us the entire stay. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location right on the beach. Beautiful sunrises every morning. Gorgeous white sand beach. The whole experience was restful and relaxing.

Loved our stay at this Holden Beach home! The house has a great porch right on the beach and is super close to the local grocery and cute restaurants. We brought our dog and baby and the house had a perfect set up for both - dog bowls, toys and a bed for our dog and sound machines, black out curtains, and plenty of space for our baby. Do make sure to bring your own linens and towels! Thanks for a great stay, we can’t wait to come back.

Cozy beach cottage with and awesome deck that runs the entire length of the house with 180 views of the Atlantic, sunrise and sunset! Quiet beach, entertaining to watch beach walkers, dogs, boats, dolphins and a little fox :) It was our first trip to Holden Beach but love that it is primarily residential with a few restaurants, shops and essential services.

Excellent property… great location… owners are great to communicate with and work with… overall an awesome experience.

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was sisters week and we couldn't ask for anything more from the owners. They were very responsive. They answered any questions that we had. They even checked in with us multiple times while we were there to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything. The house and property was very clean, and we loved the fully stocked kitchen. We absolutely loved the deck looking out at the ocean. If you have furry babies, this is a wonderful place to stay. They have a gated porch and extra amenities for them also. The only disappointment was that we had to leave and come home.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beach house. Kym was amazing to work with! We will for sure book this house again!

By far, our favorite part of this stay was that we were right on the beach, and we were able to just go head out for some shelling or sun whenever we wanted to, and didn't have to lug a bunch of stuff, or find parking, etc. Definitely worth it! Kymberly was great to work with to, and usually responded quickly if we had a question. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

The hosts were great and worked with us to make our stay enjoyable with four very young kids. Beautiful beach a stone throw away from the backdoor and two locations to wash down. Would definitely come back.

We came to Holden to celebrate my sons 16th birthday party. And this house was perfect for it. The house was super clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. It was right on the beach. So our view every morning with coffee was perfect. And if you like shells the beach was full of them. If your looking for a nice place on the beach this is it! Oh and the owners were super fast to respond to any questions! We loved that most of all!
