Would guve this property more than 5 stars if possible, if your looking for a place in siesta that feels super private but also very close to the beach,look no further. House is super clean and has everything you need for your stay, even beach equipment so you dont have to worry about bringing anything. Even had toddler life jacket and toys to keep our little one entertained and safe. Back yard space is amazing and a great way to end days after the beach. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This home was absolutely fantastic! Rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The pool and area surrounding was just beautiful! Loved all the palm trees! Close to beaches and restaurants. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. We loved it, and we would definitely come back!

Location is good however sits right off of main road which is highly traveled. Loved the pool and the house.

Great location on Siesta Key that was quiet but close to the village and main land attractions. The beach chairs, cooler and toys were great so that we didn’t need to worry about bringing those. Pool was nice to relax, float and cool off. They thought about all the needs of their guests to make the stay memorable.

We loved our stay at the Garden House! The house was clean and just enough space for the four of us. The wraparound deck, pool and deck lights, along with the plush, tropical plants was amazing! We had dinner by the pool many nights! Additionally, the neighborhood was clean and quiet despite Higel being a busy road with slight traffic. We would love to come back again!

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The house was very clean and inviting. The owners were very thoughtful to have things well labeled and organized. We appreciated the layout of the bedrooms with a queen bed on both the main floor and upstairs. This allowed us to have ample space of our own. The upstairs queen bed was comfortable, as was the reclining couch and chair in the living space. The highlight of the week was the pool area. It was spacious and the surrounding yard was beautifully landscaped. There was ample seating for lounging. We opted to have the pool heated and were glad we did. There were plenty of thick beach towels provided as well as many beach supplies. The chairs, umbrella, and cart were a great benefit to a day at the beach. The owners were exceptionally responsive to our questions. We appreciated their prompt and friendly communication. It was a great week!

Very clean and well stocked with anything you need to cook with! Rooms were lovely and stocked with bath towels as well as pool/beach towels! The heated pool was a bonus has it was chilly as we were there in February!! The grill was great as we did a lot of cooking outside and was very nice seating at the table and chairs to have dinner at and still be pool side!! Plenty of games and cards too! Overall a great home to stay!!

Great place to stay

House was great in a great location! Very clean, very well stocked and everything was labeled-which was very nice. Owners were extremely responsive. Kids loved the heated pool! House layout was perfect for us with a senior staying downstairs and parents and kids upstairs. It sits on the corner of a busy road so road noise was a bit loud but you couldn’t hear it from inside. It didn’t bother us. Definitely read the instruction manual for the house as it has a lot of useful information. Overall was a perfect house for our family vacation!

This property was perfect for our stay in Siesta! The property owners were very quick to answer any questions we had! We were very close to the beach and the strip. It was a wonderful family vacation! Thanks again!

Very nice house and only a short drive to the beach (less than 10 minutes). The house was very clean and stocked with a good variety of pans/dishes to cook with. Washer and dryer are on the second floor which makes it nice to keep up with laundry. Very nice pool and deck. Close to town with lots of shops and restaurants. Very nice, friendly community.

Everything was great! Pool was amazing, close to beach access 1. Bring more wash cloths! Loved the beach towels for the beach, as well as the toys! Loved the fact detergent was provided, we didnt know before hand and purchased more. Loved grocery store was close. Loved it was close to other beaches! So many pots and pans was there for our use, wish i would of known that but we bought some and gifted them. You will need to purchase a tent for beach use. Just loved everything here.

We enjoyed our stay. The home was everything pictured and more. The location is perfect and its right down the road from the beach and near all shopping! The house was VERY clean and the host are amazing as well. We will deff. be back!

I love how clean this place is! It is close to everything you need...beaches, stores etc and the pool was GREAT fun! There are games for everyone, pool inflatables, frisbies etc! The owners communicated well with us - a great vacation stay! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our time at this home. Our flight got in really early and they were able to let us check in sooner which was a huge help. The owners were always available and very responsive to any questions or issues that we had. They really went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our time there. The home is about 2 miles from the village and we rode bikes most of the time. Even though they provide bikes at the home, if you plan on doing a lot of riding you may be better off renting from town. A lot of the bikes were rusted and hard to adjust so we ended up renting from town instead. The outdoor area is one of the best features! We had many relaxing hours by the pool. Great time and a great space!!

We had an great time staying at this beautiful house. The outdoor area/heated pool was beautiful and where we spent most of our time. The location is great, with a quick walk or bike ride to restaurants and the beach. Everything is extremely clean and well-kept. The owners are very responsive as well. An overall terrific experience, and we will return.

Very convenient to beach, shopping and restaurants. Great pool with enough shade and heated comfortably. House had many amenities and looking forward to a return visit.

Beautiful property. No complaints. Extremely private feeling. Great location. Shell beach is a very short walk to enjoy sunsets. Never have I had a more relaxing stay somewhere. This is due to the sanctuary that is around pool. Definitely my favorite space on the property. Property owners put the time into making this entire place , top to bottom, perfect. Highly recommend.

Checking in to the house was super easy. The owners are very responsive. The house was very clean and well appointed. The heated pool was very nice, especially since we had several cloudy days. The beach close to the house is very small but getting to the larger public beach was just a short drive or bike ride away.

Property is clean and well kept. The pool is nice but the position of the house and trees at this time of year only allows a short window of direct sunshine. Property is also directly adjacent to main road onto the island and could sometimes hear traffic while outside but was never issue inside. Host was very prompt with responses. Overall nice property and good stay.

Property was beautiful and in a wonderful location & only A few minutes walk from a small local beach. Property was lovely and bright and had all the amenities we required for our stay. The owner provided excellent communication and was very quick respond on queries when needed & was extremely helpful . We look forward to returning to stay here again .

Was ok but too hot inside. The washer smelled like mold and the upstairs shower doors wont stay closed. The french doors upstairs were also hard to open and close. Owner was great with his communication. Really should include bikes in price. Thank you for your hospitality.

Well-maintained home close to Siesta Key Beach, as well as easy access to Sarasota and other surrounding areas. Bedrooms were comfortable and provided plenty of space for the 4 of us (beds were comfortable too). Kitchen area is a bit small but was not a hindrance to preparing meals/snacks/etc - it is well laid out and the owner put good thought and money into making it look nice. The best part of the house in my opinion is the pool area. Pool was beautiful and a nice size, patio and surrounding area was well designed and inviting. Lots of space and chairs to lounge outside on a sunny day. Lastly the owner provides a lot of extras to add to the enjoyment of your stay - beach chairs, toys, pool floats, etc.

A group of friends stayed July2-9/22. Pros and cons about the property are listed below so you can decide for yourself. Owner was responsive although couldn't solve some issues. Pros: Clean, Nice kitchen, Outside is beautiful and by far the best part of the rental with the deck (gets hot so wear shoes)and private Pool(amazing after a day at the beach or when the beach is crazy busy) with BBQ, safety locks on gates to pool good for families, lots of parking, bikes to rent Cons: The house actually moves. The owner told us it is normal for wood construction homes on stilts. This is something we didn't know and didn't expect. During the day it didn't bother us really, but we felt it most when laying in bed and one person in our group had to take motion meds to sleep as she felt like she was on a cruise. Water quality was an issue for our stay. We used the shower upstairs and when we opened the window to air out the room (there are no exhaust fans in either bathroom), there was a terrible smell. The owner said to close the window because there is a pipe vent outside causing the smell. That helped, but then we realized it was actually the shower water that smelled like sulpher-all week! The kitchen also smelled though not as bad. The owner contacted the city and was told the smell could be caused by the temp being above 90 outside??? We suggested he get this looked at and install a filter in the kitchen as well as exhaust fans in the bathrooms. He agreed to look into the filter when he arrived the week of July 16 so I hope that will no longer be an issue. The fans are a must. We bought bottled water to be safe. This house is clean, but 2 huge cockroaches got in a couple of nights in a row. The owner said they are endemic to Florida which we know, but we have never encountered them in previous rentals throughout Florida. The owner sent pest control to spray the trees outside and said he monitors for this which is good. There were no further sightings after the treatment. There were gaps in the weatherstripping of the French patio doors as well as a hole in the bottom corner of the main door which is where they are likely getting in. I'm sure a fix of both of those things will prevent further issue. Beds-mixed reviews on the comfort level although I'm sure it is hard to please everyone. Shell beach good for sunsets, not to hang out. Quick bus ride or Off Season-take On-demand bus to Siesta Village/beach-gorgeous!
