This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It was very quiet and the hotel was beautiful. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful. It did have a lovely swimming pool and a sun lounging area however the pool may have not be used for a while as it needed a bit of checking as there were lots of flies in the water.
There was no restaurant at this hotel and as it was remote that would have been a nice option. However we did discover that the hotel has not long re-opened so once they get more guests coming through a restaurant facility would be possible.

Location but a little difficult to find
Shower not clean .decor needs freshening pool very far from main hotel and no facilities at the pool for changing No food at the chateau despite it being called a hotel restaurant and 10 km from nearest town Argentan We were told to go there for food but most restaurants were closed on a Sat night! Bar so called closed on Sat evening Only one staff member apparently and he was neither welcoming nor helpful I speak French ..he wouldn't engage Would never recommend it to anyone Also ..way overpriced!

Amazingly spacious, beautifully decorated room. Comfy bed, blackout curtains, lovely pool, attentive staff
Not a huge amount to do nearby... but then it isn't in a major city. There is a lovely pizza place and bakery in village nearby. And Sees is worth a visit too
