Relaxing and welcoming

If you like silence, peace and mother`s care, then this is the place for you. Jeen will take care of you like her own child. We wanted pancakes for breakfast and Saidi made delicious pancakes for us. There is a romantic, beautiful rest zone and place for breakfast, dinner or lunch with nice music and lighting in evenings.

Jean was the most hospitable host, always going out of her way to make sure everything was fine for us. Her son Trevor drove us to wherever we wanted to go and the staff were excellent, efficient and very polite. Great breakfasts. Room spacious with superb covered veranda. Superb large pool and sitting area with sunshades.

The house is located in a safe residence but not far from the sea and the city of Malindi. The discretion of the staff, the fantastic garden looked after by Karissa. The room was cleaned and made up every day From Halbert. And Said's breakfasts a excellent cook. And then the kindness and courtesy of Mrs. Jean. Finally the cute dog Coco.

There are hotels, villas and apartments across Malindi then there is WHITE Nyumba. A wonderous hidden gem The Host Jean, her son Trevor and the team there cannot do enough for you. I arrived as a guest and left more than a friend. I felt I had found a new family. The place was immaculate and the food sublime. Jean was the best host I have every stayed with and Trevor is the most industrious and attentive person you could ever meet. The rooms were spotless, the bed so comfortable and the facilities out of this World. If you want to have dinner, simply decide what you want (no set menu, you can pick or request anything) and the Chef Saide goes to the local market early to bring back the freshest fish, choicest meats and vegetables to make it. You pay the cost only and then there is only the charge to cook it for you which is well below any restaurant prices The pool is superb and well maintained and the ambient lighting in the garden at night is a dream. It is in easy reach of Malindi and the beaches and Trevor is always on hand to take you anywhere at a price well below the taxi rates. Trevor ended up acting as my personal chauffeur as he knows everything about Malindi. My stay there was so enjoyable it was life changing. I loved the people there and the life they showed me so much I decided to move to Malindi as a result. They are a team worthy of awards and admiration. Having stayed in many hundreds of booking.com places across the World, I can honestly say the WHITE Nyumba is the number 1 place I have ever stayed in.

I love the aesthetic and the place is full of nature. Love the staff and everyone around is so welcoming. The pool is clean and deep just the way I like it.

The staff is very friendly and available. The room is very nice and the pool and the common areas are very pretty. The location is not so convenient to get around on foot but Trevor is always available to take you anywhere! I advise this place! :)

The staff is hospitable and courteous. The cook goes out of his way a lot. The mattress is comfortable and the pool is great - has a lot of privacy.

The bedding and towels are not white hence making it difficult to determine their hygiene. The net hanging at the balcony obscures the beauty of nature and ambience. The balcony seats are not clean. Get a mosquito repellent too as you pack for the trip, we forgot ours and the mosquitoes at night at the balcony and dining area were having a feast on us. The property is NOT 5minutes walk from the beach -it’s further, note this well.

From the moment my boyfriend and I walked into White Nyumba, we were received warmly by a kind and happy soul,Saidi. Saidi took good care of us, ensuring that we enjoyed our stay. He prepared delicious and tasty breakfasts, and the highlight of our stay was a nice, hearty meal of grilled tuna fish and ugali that was prepared with lots of love and passion. Shout out to Mama for her warm hospitality, care, and nurturing soul. She was constantly checking up on us and ensuring everything was running smoothly for our own comfort. Shout out to Coco, a lovely dog who ensured we were safe at all times. Overall, the entire stay was incredible. We enjoyed every moment. We arrived as guests and strangers and left as friends and family. Thank you White Nyumba for the amazing memories ❤️ Till we meet again, another time. God bless ❤️

Everything was to my expectation

The staff and owner were so nice and welcoming! The house was also very clean, very well maintained, and the food was fantastic. They even decorated the place with balloons for my partner's birthday! I can't wait to go back again. Next time we'll stay longer.

Absolutely amazing experience. From the hospitality of the staff to the ambience of the place to the CLEANLINESS of the rooms. The room was spacious and all amenities are as stated. We had the terrace that we were able to spend time and dine from. They helped us every step of the way even with advice on different experiences around Malindi. May not be near the beach but worth every single moment and penny we spent and, our stay at White Nyumba was more than we would have asked for.

Everything! Said the chef is just outstanding, caring and always smiles! Perfect location peaceful vibe and super attentive staff! Trevor is a star for sure and same goes for all the staff who works at this beautiful place! Food was freshly prepared by Said and was delicious each and every time! Absolutely a gem in Malindi!

The place was beautiful I liked the ambience and homely. The staff were very friendly and the place was exceptional clean. Will definitely recommend to others.

Need to say it is located inside Kibokoni residence to make it easier to locate. It took us a bit of time. So main challenge was direction. If possible include an optional snacks for the evening that are easy to make if requested eg burgers , chips , pastries and salads . Because at times some people might not have eaten thinking there is a nearby place. Once inside difficult to get out.

I enjoyed the friendliness and promptness of the staff. The chef (Saidi) was friendly, always smiling chap, did a good job preparing the meals for us.

The serenity is unmatched. From the moment you walk in you feel peaceful and are met by the pool view.

I don’t think there anything not to like. Everything was so good.
