Beautiful home! Very spacious and the owner has thought of everything you might need to feel at home. It was very comfortable and roomy for our group of 7. We would def stay here again!

Stayed the weekend to celebrate our daughters birthday! House had everything we needed, plenty of space, privacy, comfortable, and would stay here again. Only thing to note is the bunk room doesn’t have a door to close.

We really enjoyed our long weekend stay at this property. The home was extremely well stocked with everything from kitchen appliances/utensils to items you could use outdoors. This house also had a very good amount of information regarding all the details we needed for our stay, so we never had a need to bother the host which is always nice. I also loved that the kitchen had stickies noted for where everything should go, so it was easy to unload the dishwasher and put all cookware back in their rightful place. Our group especially enjoyed the plunge pool and it was nice that the backyard area was shaded in the evenings to get out of the sun after being out on the boat all day. The dock for the boat in this community is an easy in and out which was great, and the boat slip worked out well too. Our group of 4 couples decided we would definitely be willing to rent this house again!

Communication was great and timely with the owner. Our family had a wonderful time staying at the property and spent a lot of the hot days in the pool. The use of the boat slip was very convenient. The property was well stocked and we look forward to staying again in the near future.

This is the perfect getaway home! The owner did a great job with this home. She definitely put a lot of thought into this rental property and making it cozy for her guests. The close location to the water made it convenient for rental boat companies to come get us from the dock. Definitely worth renting this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at Island Escape. We had 5 adults and 5 kids from our family and it was the perfect set-up with separate rooms and baths for everyone. The house is just as pictured, super clean and beautifully decorated. It also had everything we needed to cook, grill and just enjoy hanging out together as a family for a long weekend. The pool was so great and our kids’ favorite feature, but we had fun with ALL the other toys provided as well. We kayaked, tried a little paddle boarding, played ping pong…there was so much to do! We also picked up some bait and let the kids fish our last evening there and they caught about 4 each in less than an hour! We made some great memories and hope to be back soon!! This was the perfect getaway home for our mother daughter friend group stay - we loved the spacious kitchen, available activities, proximity to the lake and the pool (especially having both shade and sun!) The house was well stocked and it was nice to have snacks laid out for the girls! Highly recommend!

The Island Escape was a perfect fit for our family. The amenities were amazing. We used the paddle boards, kayaks and swimming pool. We also did some fishing. With 6 adults and 4 kids it was perfect for us. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need. This is the nicest experience I’ve had in a b&b. We will definitely stay here again. Also, Debbie is a great host!

The house is amazing, right on the water with everything you need for a fun stay! We enjoyed the outdoor area and pool overlooking the water. We kayaked, rode bikes, swam and had many yummy meals cooked at the house. The host was amazing and got right back to me when I had a question. I would recommend staying at this immaculate house!

This home is the best of the best! The details that the home owners went to make this get away a great experience shows the moment you drive up. The location of home is unique from others in area, as you have privacy because it is on the end of the lot. The amenities at home make you want to just stay there and enjoy. House was beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The pool was lovely and had a sunny and shaded portion. Loved that it was at the end of the street and had extra pool space and no neighbors to one side. The kids were out fishing all the time and caught a ton of sun fish and bass to toss back in. Location was also the perfect base location for a day trip into Austin or San Antonio. Owner was wonderful and very easy to communicate with and accommodating.

Stayed here over the New Years holiday weekend with close friends and had a great time. The house is clean, spacious, comfortable, and feels upscale. There was plenty to do on site for all ages. We played lots of board games, ping pong, pickle ball, and the littles loved the pool. We watched college football games on the tv out back and enjoyed the outdoor lounging while the younger ones swam. Our families had a blast and made great memories. We had a wonderful experience at this property. The location is fantastic, right on the lake with a great view! The house is very well decorated and kitchen has everything you could possible need! The host was wonderful and our overall experience was fantastic.

Great trip in Kingsland! Had a wonderful, clean, nice, fun vacation rental! We had our family and another family, 9 in total, that were all very happy with our stay. The owner responded quickly with any questions I had or request for suggestions. We enjoyed the pool, ping pong, kayaks and paddle boards. I highly recommend this rental!

Great Rental Property. Owners were attentive and property was even better than advertised! Even helped when we figured out we left a computer bag behind. Location is great and had everything we needed an then some. Highly recommend this property and already wanting to go back.

My husband and I rented this lake home for a week with our 3 girls and my brother and sister in law and their kids! We had the best time at this home which is steps away from the lake and has gorgeous views from all three levels of the house! The amenities were great and we used them all from paddle boards, kayaks, pool, grill, and bikes! Super clean and spacious and great communication!! The sheets were also super soft on comfy!! With nine of us we also never ran out of hot water! We loved the location and our family time and hope to get to go back next year!!

Such a beautiful property - Debbie and Dan really did think of everything for a family looking to get away, but still hoping for all the creature comforts of a home! Not to mention the generosity of sharing bikes, paddle boards, kayaks - alll the toys to keep our kids entertained along the way! This home is kept up so well- and Debbie was easily accessible when we needed anything 🤗. So happy we found this gem in LBJ!!

Island Escape was perfectly appointed and Debbie is an attentive host! My friends and I stayed for an extended weekend. The house had everything we could wish for - all the kitchen utensils we could want for making meals; comfortable seating areas and bedrooms for our group of 10; 4 full bathrooms (great when travelling with a group of friends); wonderful deck and pool area (where we spent most of our time) right on the lake; kayaks, SUPS, floats for the water (which we used for a tour of the area by the lake). Debbie was an attentive host – we knew she was available for anything we needed. I am planning a trip back with my family already.

We really enjoyed our stay at Island Escape. The property was in a beautiful location on the lake. It was quiet and very peaceful. The property had everything we needed plus more. We can’t wait to rent again!

Great breezes on the patio - lovely and comfortable stay.

My 6 friends and I rented out the Chaney's home and words couldn't even describe how spectacular our experience was. My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at this home. We've stayed in the area before and thoroughly enjoy the lake and Kingsland but nothing has even come close to the caliber of Island Escape. This was our first time staying at this house and certainly will not be our last. The home is beautiful and situated on a wide inlet with gorgeous views of open water. The second floor balcony was a hit for all my friends as we were able to take in the sunset and the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks. The huge windows around the house and the third-floor balcony allowed us to soak in the relaxing vistas. The furniture is tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen was also extremely well-appointed. The huge island in the center of the kitchen allowed for plenty of space to cook and socialize and did not feel cumbersome at all. On the main level of the house you have a nice washer and dryer tucked away right off the kitchen which was the perfect location. The main level also has a full-bathroom! On the third level of the house, just off the stairs is a bedroom with four beds (two bunkbeds) which was super cosy and really a neat "fort" and was only steps away from a full-bathroom. Us adults fit perfectly in the bunk beds but I feel like it would be even more popular for a family with a small tribe of kiddos. The upstairs also has three other bedrooms with king sized beds which are perfect for solos, couples, or friends. One bedroom shares a bathroom with the bunker room. The other two bedrooms (including the master) have bathrooms inside the suite. I personally stayed in the master suite and it's a gorgeous room with high ceilings and the shiplap all around the room gives it a delightful aurora. Downstairs is the pool -- beautiful with areas for umbrellas to sit under while enjoying the spectacular views of the lake. There is plenty of seating, two tables, outdoor kitchen (with refrigerator), bathroom, and a gas grill. This is the perfect house for the family or friends to get-away. There is a dedicated boat slip literally a one minute walk from the house. Also paddle boards are included! Lastly, the owners manage this property and the communication with them was terrific. We had a brief setup call the day before arrival and when we texted questions during our stay, they replied in minutes!!
