This is our second time at this location, very accomidating and clean. Absolutely love the accessibility to the water with both a ramp for kayaks and steps to get in easily. The dock and sitting area is so relaxing and peaceful. We have the great location on the river to still have some activity but not directly in the main river which can be crowded. Great spot for fishing and the pups to swim some. There is also a great location a short paddle the pups can walk and play in the water especially when its not low tide. We seen mutiple mantee as well. This has become a yearly trip for my family including my grandmother and uncle who both dont get around the best they can easily get around at this location and enjoy the river with us

I enjoyed the new living room furniture and new kayak rack since my stay last year. I couldn't remember but the floors looked new too. Fantastic location, dog friendly and very accommodating. Thank you for a peaceful mini vacation.

We recently stayed here and consider this a perfect hidden gem if you are trying to have a relaxing trip to the river. The backyard and dock are perfecting for lounging with friends. Nothing too fancy but definitely deserves more praise than some of the previous reviews that were left. Location wise the house is great and is walking distance to the upper deck cafe and Roger’s Park. The ceilings are a little low in some parts of the house and my husband is 6’6 but you know what he didn’t do … complain because the house is awesome and every great spot has some quirks. We will definitely be back to visit. Thank you for hosting us.

The river is so much fun.

I actually wish this house had a few more Photos to share. It’s very clean, lots of light streaming in, the beds are very comfortable, nice bedding … Yes, it’s an older home. It’s not super fancy, but it’s in a great location - It’s kept up well and there was a lot of work put into the outside, which if you’re anything like us, that’s where you’re spending most of your time. Brand new grill and nice kayak selection. Overall, and we had a beautiful relaxing weekend

Just to be fair: the location is wonderful, dock is beautiful, host was great. The rating is for the "house" (more like a run-down trailer). It seems the host is trying to keep it up (new washer and drier, new coffee maker, etc.) but there is a point when a place needs to be torn down and rebuilt. I brought friends and was really embarrassed. Doesn't matter how low you set expectations, the place will disappoint. Every floor seems uneven (in different directions due to foundation setting?), every ceiling leans in different direction, was hitting ceiling with my head in many places, single bathroom for 6 people with ADA shower. Overall, we tried to laugh all of this off and had a good time.

Location is nice house needs a lot of work. For the price it wasn’t bad. We definitely had a blast kayaking almost all day. Hopefully it gets some renovations.

Most of the reviews were accurate with the height of ceilings. I am 6’4” and did not have issue. With bathroom made for some waiting. But overall as advertised

Perfect location close to Hospital Hole!! Lots of manatees and even had a dolphin!!

We had an amazing stay at this location. All items we needed were easily accessible and there for our use. We were right on the water in a spot where we caught fish, saw multiple manatees each day and a short paddle from the main river. Resturants and grocery stores close by. Just overall wonderful place to stay and we are already looking at dates for our next visit.

The house was great and the location was awesome. Had a camping feel and we didn't have to fight a tent. Saw lots of manatee! Will definitely come back!

This is a nice little place on the river. It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. The only problem inside and out is the floors/decks. Inside the floors are uneven and loose, and outside some are sticking up and cause stubbed toes.

Great communication from the host! The home was clean, super unique with lots of room. It was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The freezer outside was so useful. The home is nestled perfectly on the river. We spent 75% of our 3 day stay outside on the dock, utilizing the kayaks & swimming in the water. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME! I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK! My husband and I enjoyed our time on the river. The house needs a little work. The floors are very unlevel throughout the house and could pose a fall risk. The bathroom is a little small, but it was fine as my husband and I were the only ones there. The house was pretty clean, other than the oven. The deck out back is great, but again has a few boards that need to be fixed. The first night we were there we had a mama and baby manatee right off our dock which was awesome! It is in a quiet area and is close to everything. The front of the home has no curb appeal at all, so if you are looking to rent this home, do not go based on the front of the home. The check in was very easy and they let us go out early, which was great. Overall, this place is worth the money and the owners were great.

Great place on the water! Has everything you need for a good time

We booked this place for a nice little getaway at weeki wachee springs. The house was in a great area. Just a short distance away from the weeki wachee river. They have kayaks and paddle boards provided for your stay to use. Some of them need some upgraded seats but they worked fine for just getting to where you want to. I would suggest paddling upstream for a more relaxing experience. Rogers park is super close but really crowded. You can see manatees from the backyard and even fish and crab. I caught some tasty blue crabs in the river. They have crab traps if you’d like to use them but I brought my own fishing poles and a dip net. There were only a few concerns. The low hanging ceilings was the first. If you are more than 6’2” then this house is not for you since you would need to crouch over to get around. Same if you are on the larger side. The tub is very small and tight fitting. The flooring is also not level at all. It’s a modular home and the foundation just needs a lift and reset. Overall they have everything you need to just enjoy your stay. The outdoors and river was the reason we came and it served it’s purpose. The check in and out process was pretty easy and not too demanding. I would definitely come back for this little getaway on the river. We enjoyed our stay and had an amazing experience. We really enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards provided. It was a very enjoyable weekend for my family and I.

We loved being able to utilize the kayaks and paddle boards that was provided. we had a great time kayaking and paddle boarding on the river. We love being able to see four different manatees from the houses back porch and dock. We only had one complaint with our entire stay the dishwasher seems to not work which wouldn’t have been a big issue if we would have known but we put a load of dishes in The night before we were supposed to check out to wake up in the morning to only fine we had to hand wash all of them before we were supposed to check out. All in all great experience I would recommend this property and already have done so to a number of our friends.

We enjoyed our stay here. Would have loved more feedback upon checking in regarding all the amenities, which turned out to be abundant. Host was not quick to respond on whether or not there was a grill, coffee maker or functioning fire pit.

I wish they would advertise the "fun house" differently. I personally was thinking like the kayaks, the river, the float pad as being a fun house......not the chance, its the floors in the house. They are "hilly" my son and father tripped several times. The bathroom is something else, i can get over the floors, but the tub/ shower part was the worst. Its not "normal size" its maybe 12 inches across and half the size length wise, with a built in seat. You can't move around at all. Its not even perfect for a small child. Oh well, location was great!!! Its just for the price it should be a little nicer! But you want location then here you go!
