A safe and pleasant flat for our family over 4 nights. TV kept the kids occupied during alot of rainy weather !!

We loved the living room space which was comfortable and clean. The kitchen was a good size for a family of 4. It had all the facilities we needed. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely divine! The storage spaces in the rooms as well as the kitchen was fantastic. The patio with the sliding door was a bonus because the view was beautiful and provided fresh air.

The only issue was that there was a leak in the main toilet. We were not notified about this until we had arrived and checked in. It was an inconvenience as my sister and I had to tip out the water from the bucket provided to catch the water from the pipes. My sister and I had to keep using the master room toilet which was a bother to my parents. If we had known about the leak in the toilet we would not have booked here.

The lock on our door was difficult to unlock.

We had booked and paid according to our confirmation on booking.com. For 3 bedrooms accommodation for 4 people for two nights stay at Hill Bottom Accommodation, 28 Kavu Place, Namadi. We paid the full booking.com confirmed price to the host where she insisted for us to pay an extra $50.00 as refundable holding bond .The host locked one bedroom and said that we only use two bedroom. That we needed to pay more for the third room. Our confirmation on booking.com was priced for 2 nights stay with 3 bedroom accommodation for 4 people. We went through hell staying in this accommodation. It's like living in prison cell with big padlocks and burglar bars. Which can be very dangerous in event of a fire where your family can be trapped inside and cannot get out because the big padlocked burglar grill to only one main entrance. With our experience Hill Bottom Accommodation was using booking.com to mislead guests and fraudulently gain......My advice IS BE VERY CAREFUL when booking with Hill Bottom Accommodation, 28 Kavu Place.........

The actual property was good value for the number of people if all the other details in the description were correct. Spacious and clean.

The booking process was difficult as I submitted 6 adults and yet the booking only went through with 2 adults. The property was impossible to find and the wrong location came up on google search as downtown Suva. The address did not show up on an internet maps and the host gave instructions as 20m past Cakes 2000, it was at least 2km from the shopping centre. We only found the location as a relative's worker knew someone in the same street. The property was advertised as air conditioned, only 1 bedroom was. There are tenants downstairs with 3 dogs who barked and howled under our bedroom windows many times during the night and I was bailed up by one of them and could not get to our car. The same dog bit me on the leg in front of the owner when I returned for my security deposit. The host was difficult to deal with but the local cohost was nice, although unavailable at the time we requested our security deposit. After a complaint directly to booking .com I have been offered a refund for the 2nd night that we didn't stay. I am still awaiting the refund or a reply from the host.
