Breakfast was excellent
I was kept waiting about for a quite a few times.

Brilliant location, right opposite the iron bridge - my room had a view straight across the bridge. Friendly staff and comfortable bed in a nice room. It could do with a little TLC but the owner told me they are gradually working their way through the hotel and updating it as they can. Really nice old fashioned bar with no tv (which is a bonus as far as I'm concerned) with some nice beers.
No food in the bar on the Sunday night when we were there, which was a shame, but there are other places to eat so it wasn't too much of a problem. No parking although if you are lucky there is a small amount of pay and display nearby. I would recommend doing what we did and driving around to the large pay and display car park on the other side of the bridge and walking back over the bridge - it's only a couple of minutes walk.

Historical building but needs a lot more work doing to it.
On arrival we were asked for our credit card details which wasn’t advertised at time of booking; which made us feel very uncomfortable and concerned about our personal financial information. Expensive and inedible breakfast; milk was off, no continental option as promised and £12.00 per person! The cleaning standards were not up to scratch, lots of cobwebs and dust in a number of places. Very tired property but as we were told a work in process. We were in an unrenovated room, hence the cheaper price.

The bedrooms are in the process of being renovated. Some bedrooms have already been done to a superb standard, whilst others wait in the wings. Thank you Steve and Cameron for the guided tour of the hotel, you are doing a fantastic job in just a short time, can’t wait to see the place once you have finished. I must give Cameron a big shout out for the excellent food he cooked for us in the restaurant, it was amazing.

Fab location, friendly staff, Ironbridge is charming.
Bathroom was poorly maintained, and the room in general needs decorating.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a room with a room looking at the bridge and we had a window view of the bridge.
The room was warm, really soft towels and good quality duvet. The Wi-Fi was great in the bedroom and downstairs in the bar area. We had an amazing time.
We thought it was good value for money so nothing we didn’t like.

No breakfast available. Location superb. We held our wedding reception here 50 years ago and manager was lovely opening up the function room for us to take a trip down memory kane
Very satisfied with our stay

Location lovely. Room recently refurbished. Quiet.
No parking available. One of main reasons for booking unfortunately and after a long journey arriving late it was a hassle to be honest parking 1/2 mile away. Bathroom had lots of hairs around shower, toilet and sink. New management replied quickly to above but unable to do anything about either. I think this pace will improve!

Location ideal for visiting all the main attraction. Views of the iron bridge and severn gorge. On the high street so convenient for local shops, bars, cafes etc
Breakfast not available, but the owner has only recently taken over and assured us this would be remedied in the very near future.

Convenient location, and very friendly staff who did all they could to help us. They provided heaters for the rooms because radiators were not getting hot. Staff in bar very welcoming.
Have every sympathy with owners who are in the process of upgrading and modernising the facilities, but hotel still feels a little run down. Power tripped on Saturday morning so no heat or lights or kettle for a cuppa. Was fixed promptly, but by then we had gone out for the day.

Nothing. I booked somewhere else as I was phoned whilst commuting to be told the hotel was effectively closed for the winter and could not offer any facilities other than a bed. I asked for a refund and basically got fobbed off and said it was up to Booking.com, which I was informed it was not and told to call back again and speak to someone else and gave up. They were obviously happy to take my money for nothing.
Communicate quite clearly it is not the sort of place to stay during Janaury if you are a travelling person - I had driven for 8 hours that day and had to book somewhere else!!

We loved the location of these charming hotel. We had a room overlooking the famous Ironbridge. The owners were lovely and we were warmly welcomed. They took over in February so I'm sure more change will come, but we really had a lovely time there.
Unfortunately, the boiler had broke down so we had to use an electric shower. It wasn't the end of the world at all, and I know that they were working on fixing it.

Staff were lovely and very helpful, bed was cosy, and had a nice view and good location.
WiFi information was unclear, bathroom had some mold, and kettle had a lot of lime scale. Shower didn't work, hopefully is fixed now

No record of our booking, hence heater had to be put in room. No food available.

This place has great potential. the new owners are getting there. was a big room on top story which had awesome view.
would be good if the owner invested in some mattress toppers as the beds are old and lumpy. a bit like me😀 also needs a hairdryer.

Ironbridge is lovely location and hotel in good position.
Bed was too small and mattress too hard. Breakfast arrangements haphazard and no tea offered.

Very clean and comfortable refurbished room and a great central location to the Ironbridge.
A lack of information of the best place/s for parking.

Nothing, everything was horrible
Room dated and disgusting. Blood stains on pillows, mystery stains on bed sheets. What looked like semen stains on sides of bed. Shower door was broke, towels and bred sheets were damp. Hotel was totally dated in need of refurbishment. Room didn’t feel clean, felt itchy sleeping in the beds. Would never stay here again !

Location…..we have stayed here a few times before.
No heating in room, despite cold wet and windy outside and despite asking about it on more than one occasion. No portable heater offered either. When went down for breakfast, cleaner was vacuuming…..abandoned the idea and went elsewhere for breakfast. Water in sink not hot, just warm.
