Charming studio on lush green property in a can’t-be-beat location. Would definitely stay again !

Could not have imagined a nicer place to stay for my first time ever in California. Incredibly friendly, and kind hosts.

Property and unit are beautiful. Unreal location and proximity to Newport and Laguna. Host makes the check in and out process extremely easy. Hard to find something not to like about this place.

Quant space set amongst the trees and small stream. Close to everything in Newport. Walls are thin, so we had to be neighborly and keep the noise down, but still had a wonderful stay here.

Beautiful and serene back yard. I loved sitting out there listing to the flowing water. We had everything we needed and it was very cozy.

Loved the place, too bad we couldn't stay and enjoyed it more as we were too busy doing other things. One little thing only is that we were on the bottom guest house and people staying above us had kids and they were a bit noisy. But other than that everything was great. PS I would post more pictures ;)

The bed was comfortable but the pull-out was meager. It was beautifully quiet and remote while walkable to the beach and coffee spots.

This was a great space to relax! It was clean, comfortable and stylish. The backyard and patio were great for meals and enjoying some coffee in the morning. The stream was very calming too! We had a really easy check-in progress. My only regret is that we left some dishes in the house because we were rushing trying to check out on time. Sorry about that! Beautiful stay <3

This 1 bdrm was a wonderful 3 night getaway. Nestled into the canyon side, it was such a peaceful, quiet place. Thank you to Henrik for providing such a wonderful property.

Had a nice one night stay with my wife. Instructions were clear, everything was clean and worked well.

We were in SO CALIF for a wedding in Dana Point. Laguna Beach is where the family lives, being closer to Laguna Beach for us would have been much better, however, the space we booked was lovely. You must be able to walk up and down steps to get into the lower lever of the owners house ...there are 3 separate areas. owner's famiy up a level, ground level is another space used for the family, then our space was down, although you're still high off the backyard so view is as shown in picture. Just beware you need to feel comfortable with steps. Easy walk to coffee shops and eateries. Driving south to beautiful Heisler Park area is well worth it....gorgeous. Only con for us was the cell phone reception, so that became a real hassle always having to race out the door to grab an important phone call, hope you get out there before the caller hangs up..especially when it's the airline you left a message for and after an hour they finally call....we have iphone with AT&T... supposed it was because the surroundings are quite lush and there are tall houses around this house..doesn't affect the pretty view, just the phone reception....

Amazing, loved the feeling of sleeping in the trees and the sound of the stream in the back ground so relaxing and healing. Great walkable location.

Great property & accommodations

Pros - close to UC Irvine nice quiet, pretty and cozy . property owner very accommodating. Cons- futon is twin size at base of larger bed, and firm -would benefit from 3 inch mattress topper, drinking water source would be appreciated rather than just bathroom tap. Overall excellent would stay again. ✔️

This quiet and peaceful property was the ideal place for me and my best friend to meet up to enjoy quality time together. One of my favorite childhood beaches, Crystal Cove, is just five minutes south. Inspiration point in Newport Beach is five minutes north of the property. It is still one of the best places to watch magical sunsets. I highly recommend Five Crowns Restaurant and Side Door Bar for prime rib, seafood and/or appetizers, and the best homemade Caesar Salad. I will definitely be back next time!!

Quaint little property tucked away on a hillside close to the beach. It was peaceful and quiet. It had basic necessities for the trip- Parking, wifi, small fridge with freezer, microwave, toaster oven, soap/ shampoo, towels, beach towels & chair, TV and a nice comfy bed. Property had some stairs. It was walking distance to “Mama D’s” Italian restaurant.I loved it and I would definitely come back.

Bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. The location of the property was perfect for us. Appreciated the onsite parking spot.

Very quaint and relaxing. You can listen to frogs croking all night. Only negative was you dont have any control of the air

the home is beautiful!!! with all the custom made windows and book shelves and art collections and it's just the right size for us custom doors and windows. I can easily open the doors and windows to enjoy the fresh air. I like the back yard with all the trees and a small stream with lots of frogs. They orchestra their songs after night fall. The home feels safe I can leave doors and windows opened all day. We walk to the beach and the restaurants. I enjoyed to stay at this beautiful home.

It is a beautiful, peaceful niche surrounded by a lush garden with a calm stream. Very comfortable, and cozy. It is super close to the main avenue where you can find all types of food, services and enjoy the uniqueness of Newport .

Beautiful, artistic studio nestled in the canyon with lush foliage, grass and stream. The frogs sang us to sleep each night! Many wonderful restaurants and cafes are within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommend!

Great place

Absolutely gorgeous oasis in the middle of the city! I feel the host didn't fully capture how amazing and beautiful it is. So comfortable, so cozy, and very relaxing. It says you can walk to the beach, but, at 60+ it's a bit of a hike. However, super close to drive to, and usually plenty of parking. We had a great time!

I loved this property. It so beautiful and relaxing. Feels like your not even in a neighborhood its so secluded. Very close to anything you want to do, driving. 10 to 15 min. There is a room above so you will have noise. I was ok with it. It says sleeps 3 but its a very hard futon. I'd only recommend 2 people and you would have to share a bed. I loved the bed very comfy. I really liked listening to the frogs at night while laying in bed. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

I stayed in this home with my two teen daughters. I stayed on the futon and they stayed on the bed. We felt safe and the neighborhood here is so safe and calm. The only thing I would say is maybe see if the host will hook up the small AC unit and have it ready if you stay in the summer. The heating is shared with another unit. The fans they had there were sufficient for us since we came early in the summer. We had everything we needed and the host was so nice. The singing frogs at night were wonderful. Every morning I was able to walk to the beach and to go get breakfast and bring it back. It was the best!

The garden setting is a pleasant surprise in this conveniently located apartment. Close to restaurants, shopping and beaches.
