I spent only one night in this accommodation but I really wish I had to stay more. Besides the fact that they are exceptionally clean, the rooms are really nice furnished and decorated, providing everything someone may need, irrespective of the purpose of the stay, including air conditioning, TV, a small guide of the surroundings, fridge, soap, shower gel, shower cap, shaving kit, clean towels and so on. The hotel itself is situated in the centre of the town, having a private parking where guests are not supposed to pay. The check-in went smoothly, even though we arrived at 9 PM. The breakfast was included in the price and, even thought it consisted of basic aliments and it was clasic, it was undeniably delicious, containing high quality products. Last but not least, the stuff was untruly nice to us, not to mention the receptionist who was also a waiter at the breakfast understood Romanian quite well. I really loved this place and I am sure we will come back, therefore I strongly recommend you to give it a try.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the manager (Danny) and the restaurant staff. Thankfully they spoke some English! The hotel is situated on a pedestrianised, tree-lined street, which was surprisingly quiet during our stay (14-19 June '23). The restaurant terrace overlooks tall green trees, with lots of birdsong, giving it a rural feel. We enjoyed the tranquillity of this hotel's location, though some may find the small town of Kavarna just too quiet and uneventful. For those seeking sea and sand, it's 5-minute drive from the local beaches, a good 25 minutes' walk (and uphill coming back). We took a taxi to Cape Kaliakra, definitely worth a visit (make sure you use sun screen and take a hat, as there's very little shade and it's quite windy). Kaliakra is too far to walk from Kavarna, especially as it's along a main road without pavements. Back to the hotel. Our room was spacious, light and comfortable. The beds were OK, though a little softer than we like. The hotel and restaurant were impeccably clean and tastefully decorated/furnished. We had several evening meals in the restaurant, as the food is good and fairly priced. Breakfast (included in our package) was tasty and filling - brilliant omelettes! Also, the home-made carrot cake is superb.

Just a few small points: Although hotel security seems to be good (and Kavarna a safe place), in this day and age, we would have expected to have a safe in our room. It would also have been good to have a chair or two in the room, instead of having to sit on the bed. The shower in the bathroom is not enclosed, which means that the floor gets flooded for a while until the water eventually drains away and the tiles dry off. So best to take your showers one after the other if travelling as a family/ couple. If your stay includes breakfast, be sure to ask for a soft drink (which the menu states is included, but wasn't offered to us). We asked for a small bottle of mineral water each.

Staff was great. Very good service. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, tomato, jam etc. Other options are available. Very clean room, fridge, tv. In the morning being national day it was a bit noisy from the street due to preparations made for a fair. Parking was available in front of the restaurant.

The only downside was the shower. It does not have an enclosure, so all water goes in the bathroom, splashing everywhere and all bathroom floor becomes flooded.
