Michelle was very accommodating. It was such a pleasure to know a vrbo owner looks out in the way she did by going the extra mile for the clients. Not only for humans but also for your furbaby.
Location was great for dog walking, lots of trails. We highly recommend staying here.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this bedroom loft. It had all amenities and was very comfortable. Also the patio area and trees made it feel like a secluded hideaway. Finally, the host, Michelle, was so friendly and a very interesting person.
We’d definitely stay here again.

This is a tidy and well appointed rental that had a nice fenced yard for our dogs.
If you plan on cooking the pots/pans are a bit rough and the burners only really work on high.
The spaces are small and the bedroom ceiling is very low on one side. The sitting room furniture is functional but not comfortable. Everything was as advertised. We stayed 4 nights and it was a safe secure space.

Fantastic accommodation- absolutely everything had been thought of. Michele was a great hostess, quick responses to request for recommendations for hikes/ eating out etc.
Great outdoor space- everything about this place was perfect- highly recommend.

Michelle communicated well, was very easy and pleasant to deal with.
Property is quite small, as indicated in listing, but very cozy and exceptionally clean.
Appreciated the extra touches like cream, pop and water in fridge for arrival.
Loved the enclosed yard - my dog and I were out there more than inside. Would definitely stay there again.

Stayed at Michelle’s place for 3 nights with hubby and puppy. Was able to check in a bit early, place was spotless and Michelle goes out of her way to have everything you need re toiletries in case you forgot any. Bed was super comfortable and enjoyed falling asleep listening to the frogs croaking. Thanks Michelle!

Great place to stay. So quiet and loved the comforter on the bed. So cozy. Michelle has stocked this place with every thing you could imagine for coffee pods to first aid kit. Would definitely stay again. Does have some stairs if you have problems with your knees. Highly recommend 👌

We were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities provided such as spices, creamer, coffee, etc. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, bath gel and a sponge. All the little extras meant a lot. Would come again if we were ever in the area.

Easy access from the Cowichan Lake trail! This house extension has a great outside sitting area with bbq and trellis. Inside was a compact kitchen with all the essentials and a small sitting area.
A few steps up is a bathroom with shower and a washer/dryer. More steps up to the loft is a queen bed.
Suggestions for making it more comfortable would be to have another bedside table on the far side of the bed, and maybe more dedicated reading light, rather than the lights that you currently have. Having said all this, the place worked great for us and communication with the host was easy. Thanks for the stay.

I love staying there! Very quiet and private, very comfy and well equipped, I absolutely recommend this property to anyone visiting beautiful lake Cowichan. My only regret was I booked only 2 nights!

A very private retreat
A quaint and quiet little spot with the most accommodating Hostess! The little patio area was where we relaxed most of our stay - it truly was enjoyable with all the surrounding yard lights. The bed was very comfortable. The cold water and ice in the fridge was a nice touch. We would definitely stay again.
