The staff was super nice. they also serve delicious food in the restaurant just down stairs.

The hotel is very old. The room was small.

Wire screen on window poorly fitted which meant we were eaten alive by mosquitos over night. Given how many mtb riders visit the area I expected there to be some better bike facilities at the hotel. Breakfast options could’ve been better as didn’t really like the idea of sharing big tubs of butter, jam and peanut butter with the rest of the hotel patrons.

Great location (make sure to visit the floating sauna), friendly staff, spotless bathroom and room and seamless check-in. The bathroom has recently been renovated. The pub food was tasty.

The breakfast was super basic (bread with vegemite, butter or peanut butter from bulk containers or cereals with milk). The breakfast room was a bit dirty, and there were no napkins.

We loved the old building with modern bathrooms. We loved the atmosfere and had fun in the old building

The seafood was a bit "unknown" didnt know what it was so stopped eating it halfway through vietnamese pasta

Great stay central location to Derby trails.. great staff and food plenty of beers to choose from, clean and tidy as always.

Noise can travel to the rooms when it's busy, if you're looking for a quiet getaway maybe a pub shouldn't be first choice

extremely over price at aud195 a night. room does not even have tv and kettle. heater was small and room was EXTREMELY cold. was called a hotel but seem more like a backpacker inn. breakfast was VERY basic only. blinds cannot even cover the lights coming in and it was very very noisy as walls and doors are thin. can hear people talking and walking pass the corridor area and stairs as well as noisy traffic can be heard as windows are not sound proof. regret not getting an Airbnb which was way bigger and cheaper than the price paid for this room.
