This property provides the perfect landing spot for a family looking to do day-trips up into Door County. The listing was exactly as described, very comfortable, and well stocked. We would visit again.

Kevin was a great host. The house was exactly as pictured. Such a cute place! The fire pit was an added bonus.

Very nice, clean home in a convenient location. The hosts were very prompt in answering any questions we had and making recommendations.

My friend and I had a girls weekend and stayed at this cute vacation rental. The house was adorable! It was very clean with lots of little special touches for guests that were so thoughtful. Any time we needed to contact the owners they responded immediately. The beds and pillows were comfortable and there were lots of blankets. It was a delightful stay! We will definitely be returning.

So cute and the house smelled so good!! Need to know what scent you use! They went above and beyond on the little touches that made our stay so welcoming and equipped with everything we could need!

This was a very nice property. It was a bit small, but everything was clean and the house was very well stocked with little bonus items; like coffee filters, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, paper towels, ziploc bags…I could go on and on!!

This property was close to the finish line of the Fall50. It had everything that we needed.

We had a great time in Sturgeon Bay and loved the warm and cozy home in a quiet neighborhood! The homeowners thought of everything we could possibly need, and then some! We really appreciated the little treats and fall touches throughout! Thank you so much, I’d book again without hesitation!

We brought 4 teens for our first trip to DC. We packed it into a 3 day trip and our rental home was perfect for us. With 5 runners, we loved being so close to the lake. Close enough for walkers, also. This house was so stocked that we didn't need most of our own toiletries that we brought (they had full sized shampoo, cond, bodywash, dishsoap, handsoaps, free and clear laundry detergent!, door county coffee, and more). Extra amenities were umbrellas, firepit with chairs and roasting sticks (we brought wood and smores, but didnt have time for them), bikes (which two of our boys used), sidewalk chalk, games and puzzles, more pillows and blankets than we could use, avocado olive oil, Himalayan salt, and every kitchen need you can think of (it even looked like there was a set of kitchenware for mixed drinks). The beds were super comfy, shower was great, there were more bath towels than we could use in 3 days, and the couches were so comfy that two of our kids chose to sleep on them despite the house having accommodations for 6, depending on how big you all are (we brought an air mattress that wasn't needed because of the couches. Our kids are tall and don't like to share beds). Thank you to Kevin for being so responsive! We had some trouble with the door lock (I put in the wrong code), and he responded within minutes (BTW, that lock is awesome- I want one). FYI to renters, there's an extra toilet in the basement (very nice water closet) that I wasn't aware of, but very glad to have.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Beach Retreat! Our 4 year old found the toys in the living room upon arrival and that was an added bonus! We were able to pick cherries with the start of the season and one of the highlights staying here was we made Cherry Crisp that night! Our family enjoyed this treat throughout our stay here and it added something special that we aren't able to get in a hotel. We also really enjoyed the backyard and fire pit area, you can't go wrong with a s'more! :) Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us, it truly helped make our vacation a wonderful experience!

I've never stayed in sturgeon bay and really enjoyed this place! It was close to a beach, breakfast spots, and the highway to get to more of Door County. The place was newly remodeled and exactly what we needed.
