Very comfortable, great location in Parkgate

the key safe was difficult to use not really any preparation space in the kitchen - we didn’t do a lot of cooking but hard to even make simple things

Recently been renovated, very clean and well presented. Parkgate is a lovely location in itself but is also perfectly placed to explore the rest of the Wirral, Chester and Liverpool

second stay at quay cottage - always a seem-less check in, great communication. super space - spotless, comfy and great location.

Its exactly as the photos. Compact and comfy just what we wanted in a perfect, quiet location. Bedrooms were gorgeous and Gary helpful and available. Definitely want to visit again.

Toilet door needs lifting and would have liked an extra toilet roll we had to go out and buy but that's being picky.

Location very good - apart from picturesque Parkgate on the doorstep, the house is a good base for easy access to the rest of Wirral and Chester, or indeed North Wales. Inside it was spotless and has the bonus of a small courtyard garden with seating.

Bed mattresses quite soft/bouncy and will not suit many.

Beautiful location and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We loved the fireplace as it gave a warm glow to the surroundings. Lovely big sofa and well equipped kitchen.

Beds too soft for our liking but may suit others.

Lovely location on the Wirral ideal for exploring the area. The cottage was extremely well presented and maintained.

Modern, clean and great layout for a family.

It’s comfortable and fresh and it’s in a great location. It had everything we needed and more. The rooms are all nicely done, shower was good and place has a homely and welcoming feel. Comms beforehand was good and finding it and gaining access was easy and straightforward.

The apartment was clean and we had a great time during our visit. The host communicated timely.

It was exactly as we expected, clean and comfortable. We could walk to all the local pubs and shops. Even to Neston. Lovely walks for the dogs too. Easy access to Wales. Highly recommendable.

Quay Cottage is ideally located for our family history purposes. It was extremely well furnished and equipped with modern decor and tasteful touches.

We had difficulty getting the heating to work but our host soon sorted out the problem. A tiny lack was a small waste bin on the first floor but I'm scraping to find something!

Beautifully furnished cosy cottage in a superb location by Park gate front.

Toilet needs double flush to clear but not a big problem.

Quay Cottage was in a perfect location for us, the Parkgate area is really beautiful and it was also easy to reach Chester, the rest of the Wirral and even pop over to Wales. Easy walk to a variety of eating places from the cottage, plus lovely walks along the Wirral Way. The house is obviously recently refurbished to a very high standard and we had a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Double bedroom was huge, but the bed was not - which was a shame. The little courtyard garden was a lovely idea but unfortunately it was always in the shade so we didn't make use of it.

Cleanliness. The cottage was spotless and smelled amazing! all the furnitures and carpet looks brand new. The host was very quick to answer the one question i had. everything else was thoroughly explained upon arrival.

The location was excellent. Comfortable accommodation and although the weather was extremely warm the cottage remained fairly cool

Maybe a microwave might be useful although I realize there was limited room. Lock on front door was difficult to operate some times.

The Parkgate area, great walks along the parade, excellent dining options and very good fish and chips. At the cottage everything was new and clean

Parking outside is challenging at busy times, especially Friday evening
