Very clean and bed was very comfortable.
Shower wasn’t amazing but more than adequate.

Requires a bit of routine maintenance Bathroom door was hard to shut and steps to bed perhaps could perhaps do with rubber feet or securing as can slip

The owner came straight out to fix any problems

You need plenty of wood to heat hotub and lodge, they said you could buy from reception but no one was ever there so had to travel a fair few times to get wood

the hot tub was lovely and the location was peaceful
there was a lack of storage space and the water was continuously cold in both the shower and the taps.

it was private and cosy, lovely place to stay as a couple to unwind in the countryside
would have been helpful to know the hot tub was powered by the wood burner , took us a minute to figure it out 😂 and the amount we had to spend kn wood to keep the fire going to get the hot tub hot wasn’t ideal

The hut itself
Shower had no hot water. Didn’t shower the whole weekend. We bought 25£ worth of our own logs for the hot tub and it didn’t heat up. That was the reason we stayed there. Really disappointed

beautiful shephards hut exactly like the pictures
spent a fortune going to and from the garag to buy logs and l fire lighters to heat the hot tub and the fire inside as it was freezing cold and all they supplied was a bag of logs and nothing to help light them such as fire lighters. just a box of matches and a lighter.

Lovely place to stay.. was happy to see that it was just exactly like it was in the photo beautiful, fresh and clean

Check in time, with we could of stayed longer and came earlier, we loved it that much

The shower was badly dripping on entry and the water from the shower head had spread across the bathroom floor( no mop or clothes to clean up.
door into bathroom DID not shut properly, fridge door did NOT close properly.
other cup doors also badly fitted.
