Nice hotel with plenty of amenities and friendly staff!

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Nice size room. Quiet area. Lots of parking. Just a few miles from town, very quiet. Restaurant entrees is a short list but they do an outstanding job with food, top notch. Recommend.

It was ok. There was nothing special about this place. Some of the staff was friendly, others not. The room was outdated, yet comfortable. To be honest it didn't wow me or disappoint.

Bar and restaurant was great good prices and menu. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were older the tv remote had no back and the batteries were held in by duck tape. Other than that great stay good price for the room.

I was booked into this hotel last weekend for two bites. They took the full payment when I booked from my card. Unfortunately I took ill on route, my husband turned the car and I was in A&E, where I was kept overnight. This hotel refused me any sort of re- embursement not even €1 for something out of my control . I cud prove all this but only got a rant about policy . Stay clear of this place and for goodness sake DONT take sick. You won’t see a penny back!!

Hotel was close to where we needed, for a family funeral over 4 days. The bedrooms very clean, with comfortable beds. Hotel was nice and all the staff were lovely, and friendly. We stayed during Santa visit (weekend) and the children ran up and down the corridors, banging on doors. Parents should be given a notice on arrival to tell them to manage their children, or inform everyone when booking it's a family hotel, we understand children get excited and want to play, but as paying customers without children, this did cause more stress.

Remote tv not working. Waited 1/2 day replacement. Room cold as heating on available for only certain times per day. Couldn’t order food from reception, to restaurant, in spite of struggling with walking stick.

Room had all requirements. Bed was comfortable. Plenary hot water and towels. Breakfast was poor. Hot breakfast was served before I had time to drink an OJ or have a cereal or fruit. And…. It was only warmish…. Certainly not hot. The breakfast room was drab and dreary & in bad need of a complete facelift.

Other reviews mention similar things as below, and please note that pictures made it look a lot nicer than it actually is. I rang ahead to ask if the rooms had a mini-fridge. The older woman on the phone was lovely & said they can put one in the room, or I could leave food in their kitchen fridge labelled. The disappointment began at check in. The young girl at the desk was extremely dismissive & made me feel like an inconvenience. Yet I was the only guest around. She said there were no mini fridges. She gave me a room on the ground floor & I asked if it was a quiet section of the hotel, as I was staying 2 nights & working from the hotel. She assured me it was. She ended every sentence with "is that alright?" & made me feel rushed. I got to the room & it was VERY dated. The red carpet had a musty smell. The furniture was extremely old & had marks on it. I tried to close a window that was left open & the old, cheap curtain rod fell straight down. There was an old radiator in the room. The doors to the rooms all slammed & there was heavy footfall outside my room. I woke up several times both nights & it was one of the worst sleeps I've gotten in a hotel. Upon checkout, I had the same girl as when I checked in. She asked how my stay was & I said honestly not great, explaining it was dated & loud. I mentioned the mini fridge again & she questioned who I spoke to. I said the name, & she said there was no one by that name who worked at the hotel. Disappointing customer service

We felt that we definitely overpaid for our stay at this property. Supposedly a 3 star hotel, it is closer to a 2 star. Run down facilities, disappointing breakfast, definitely below standard for level of cleaniness and overall vibe: old fashioned, average food, etc etc. Positives: the leisure Center was better kept and we could enjoy the pool and there was a soft play area for the kids that was a nice touch (even though it was run down and very dirty). Photos of hotel on the expedia site definitely don’t reflect the actual state of the hotel nowadays.

Service and breakfast was good. The hotel itself however has seen better days. Seems to be undergoing renovations. Switched rooms because toilet didn’t work. New room was a bit modernized, but bathroom was just as old and moldy as the previous room. The men’s shower facility by the pool also needs an update. Moldy curtains. Game room features at several games that don’t work. Again, service was ok. But I felt the room was way overpriced for the end result.

The place needs updating especially the bathrooms. And Mattress. However staff at Front Desk , restaurants and housekeeping are awesome. Walkable to town . They also let me check in Early after our flight ✈️ that was the best!!

We stayed here on a recent trip to Ennis for a night. The staff were very friendly, bar and breakfast was great. The room was disappointing, there was water leaking from a spot light in the ceiling. We didn’t notice when we checked in as they had it taped up, so the issue was known when they put us in the room.

Very very basic hotel. Very old style. It’s a pity as it is in a good location to get to town so if it was upgraded a little it would be good. Rooms very small, only one tiny window, wasn’t very clean. Iron wasn’t working in room. Staff were nice and helpful.

Internet not working, one elevator not working, no hair conditioner provided , body soap to use as a shampoo. No extra pillows in closet, could only use an outlet behind chair for coffee make.. will never book again ..

Property was very tired. Rooms had lots of staining on carpet and bathrooms were old and poorly lit. Pipes squeeled upon use and bathroom sink continuously dripped. Property is great for those with kids, however not relaxing for those without as there were many kids in the restaurant and bar and running up and down the halls. Very loud at night.

Fantastic value for money. Great free leisure centre (pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room). Nice breakfast at a reasonable price. Hotel is a bit tired, but the bed was very comfortable. Can't argue with the value.

Rooms are really old and outdated. Not massively well cleaned. Overall the hotel feels run down. Breakfast was disappointing.

Decor tired with chipped paintwork widespread. Loose socket in room.

Our stay was adequate, that the best we can say, the staff on reception were very pleasant, but everyone else were rude. The room we were given was basic and just did the job, nothing like there photos on there site. It had cracked tiles it the bathroom mould round the bath. The carpets were very dirty and the bed was sunken on one side, definitely needed changing. For the price we paid we were discussed with it's condition. And will never stay there again.
