Great location!

Loved being right on the lake!

We would definitely come back. One problem not enough chairs by the lake and people take out the water boats canoes and paddle boats for an extremely long time. We didn’t get a chance to use them.

The location was great. Walking distance to food, shopping and fun!!! The service was friendly, courteous and professional. Would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling in the area.

Great stay ! Will be back

Our room was great! Very clean and comfortable. It’s nice to be able to connect to our home subscription services on the tv by casting easily once connected to the WiFi. Our only complaint in the room was that it took several minutes of running the water to get hot water. The lobby and loft area is beautiful and very comfortable. It was the perfect area for me to do work while my wife was still sleeping in our room. The staff at the front desk was pleasant but divulged a few too many personal stories and complaints at too loud of volume for so early in the morning. Otherwise the lobby would have been a perfectly serene area to enjoy and work

Great place to stay

Parking garage was a challenge. If they are full, there is no exit or place to turn around - you have to back out. The parking garage is connected to the hotel, which is very nice. The Village side room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel is conveniently located to the Olympic Center and for shopping and dining. There were many families lodging in town for hockey tournaments so it was not quiet when trying to settle in for the night. At one point the parents were in the hall yelling at their kids and eachother regarding an incident that happened earlier. We definitely expected it to be buzzing with families and kids running around, but the yelling parents was a bit much. Take it someplace private instead of in the hallway - not everyone is there for the kids hockey tournament.

Love the lake side view!

We have been coming to this pet friendly hotel since our children were little (20+ years). We love the comfort and THE BEST VIEWS IN TOWN. The pet friendly rooms are lovely - not like other places that give you run down rooms when traveling with pets. The staff is so friendly too. We can't wait until our next trip!

The hotel is in the heart of Lake Placid within walking distance to restaurants and the Olympic museum. We had a room looking over Lake Mirror. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the lobby, by the fireplace, looking at the lake and mountains through the huge picture window.

Excellent place to stay.

We loved everything! Having the kayaks available for use was awesome! We will be back!

We absolutely loved our weekend stay at the Golden Arrow. Our room was perfect overlooking Mirror Lake (was able to catch a few weddings going on). The hotel is perfectly situated in the middle of town so you can walk to everything. Hotel was very clean and workers very friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Beautiful location. Amazing trip.

Super enjoyed our stay at the Golden Arrow! We splurged on a room with lake view and it was worth it waking up to the serenity each morning. Only issue was a lot of noise from the weddings over the weekend that went pretty late, but also understandable - it’s a wedding and people were clearly have a blast. We loved the lake access and enjoyed using the kayaks and sup boards. Lots of boating equipment and safety vests - plenty for everyone so it was low stress. The beach and swimming area are lovely. Overall a great spot and we look forward to a return visit!

Beautiful property and clean rooms, gorgeous well-maintained grounds, free use of canoes, hydro bikes, kyaks and rowboats. Good sized swimming pool, decent restaurant on site.

We didn’t know what to expect, but the rooms were comfortable and we couldn’t pull the kids away from the lake and all the provided activities on the lake. It would be great if they sold drinks and snacks in the little hut by the lake, but otherwise everything was fantastic!

Location and feel! Would have loved if the guard was around to help with boating experience.

It was fabulous. The staff was so warm and welcoming. They even baked their guests - complimentary yummy oatmeal raisin cookies!! I loved my stay.

No complaints

I found the 3rd floor on the lake side best. You have a balcony overlooking the lake and beach. The parking garage is safe just a little tricky to navigate.
