Ongoing construction was a distraction.

My motivation was dampened when I was shown to a room that hadn't been cleaned. In the next room, there was loud music coming from the next room, even in the middle of the night, so I couldn't sleep.

Did not know the restaurant bar and pool were all not usable. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned. After I was on day 4 since no one was coming. Staff is very friendly

The front desk employee lacked excitement, and seemed that she didn’t want to be at work; she wasn't rude just lacked energy. There was no hot in the shower; so I had to wash off in the sink; also this property needs to invest in new pillows, the ones that were in my room (114) has been worned out. The towels has been used, and needs to be replaced.

The hotel is under construction and the floor we were given was still under construction even though they said it was not. There was no soap or lotion, the toilet paper was on the floor because the holder was broken.

There was no working elevator. This was due to construction being done on property. Wish we had been told ahead of time of these issues.

We were in a room that wasn’t renovated and it had stains. Bathroom door was so broken that you couldn’t close it.

Front desk is always friendly and helpful. House keeping is great too. They’re renovating so the rooms are updated and sleek. Great selection of restaurants and things to do in the area. Will definitely book again.

The staff that checked me in and out was awesome. I wasn't too happy about paying for breakfast.

Not good at all

We had an intruder come into our room early in the morning while in bed drinking coffee. He appeared to be a homeless man. He entered from the sliding glass door. It was unlocked and we never even realized there was a door because of the curtain. I actually assumed it was a window. He just came in like it was normal before I chased him out. There was quite a bit of construction that was not kept in good organized condition. Im not surprised he was on the premises. I am also surprised that when I complained and asked them to call the police, the manager never followed up with me. I told the front desk associate that I was not paying for this. She told me I would be credited and the manager would call me that morning. No credit and no phone call after day 3. I am absolutely amazed at how poorly this place is run. I am reporting to Courtyard by Marriott about their Atlanta Northlake location but will be surprised if they respond. This was a really bad encounter. Again, we had a vagrant walk into our room while in bed and no one has contacted us. The place is not in good shape and they should not charge full price and also should let you know they are in remodel.

Patio foot was broken and did not open told front desk but the maintenance worker never came.

Enjoyable stay. The staff was professional and very nice; the Room was comfortable.

Hotel was undergoing a renovation which made parking inconvenient. I am sure everything will be fantastic with the renovation is completed

The hotel was under construction… which is fine and understandable. However the front desk service was terrible, the attendant had the worse attitude and demeanor . She definitely does not need to work in the hospitality industry. Personally I think she needs to be fired . She was not friendly, was not informative , and does not need to work at the front desk. It was disgusting. The women in the front does not greet the guest when walking through the lobby … they are just horrible all around

Very disappointing. We’ve stayed at many Marriott properties and were always happy with the property. This was a complete completely different experience. We were not told the hotel was going through a major renovation. There was no elevator nor anyone to help us get our luggage to our second floor room. An employee watched us struggle with the stairs/luggage and did nothing to assist us. The room appeared to still be under renovation. Lamps were not plugged in nor were the cords even out of the original packaging. The shower was dirty, towels were restocked once and trash was never removed from the one small can. We were told the room would be serviced every 3 days which did not occur. The most disturbing thing was when a person claiming to be maintenance started banging on the door and shouting. As we had not asked for maintenance we did not answer the door. He came back and repeated this. We spoke with the front desk who would neither confirm nor deny they had sent anyone. We would have changed hotels but we were prepaid nonrefundable.

only one soap for sink and shower; got more at front desk - next day, housekeeping removed all but one! Carpet was filthy, leaving tracks when I showered (each night). One lamp socket was empty -a safety hazard! Should be 12 shower door clips - one missing.

Hotel was in terrible condition. Dirty towels on the balcony when I arrived along with a broken desk chair. The carpet was filthy and overall cleanliness was a 3/10!

Under renovation in sections, but I have stayed here multiple times over the years. The courtyard adds to a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Bug in bed dirty shower tv stopped working trash!

Undergoing renovations so few things were not as expected. Toilet paper holder was missing - just holes in wall. Tissue box was empt. Only small bar of hand soap to wash with. Water in sink came out as a trickle.

Stayed 4 dayes - 2 days the internet did not work, and no one in reception took any responsibility. One of my collegaues arrived 1 day later, she should wait hours to check inn due to IT issues. Stayed their probably 10 times the last 2 years - always accpeted the renovation going on, but now I have had enough (still under renovation)

Clean and quiet despite the renovations going on.

When I arrived at the hotel I did see they have renovations going on but they still could have kept the other rooms that haven't been renovated clean. The shower had hair in it, the doors were dirty the carpets had bad stains. I woke up 630 a.m. to have breakfast. I knew you had to pay for breakfast so I made sure my breakfast was included. I talked to the people at the desk and they said it wasn't. And were rude about it. Also the restaurant part wasn't open. They weren't sure when the person was coming. They said they will call the room and they didn't. I try to cancel the hotel but I couldn't. The next day I went to front desk to show them my email said it was included they gave a 10 dollar voucher for the rest of my stay and told me breakfast end at 10. While they were helping me they were on their phone having a personal conversation wearing the ear piece. The breakfast is really good. But the last day of our stay we got to the bistro a little after 930 and they couldn't cook breakfast because on weekdays it stops at 930. The lady that was on her phone didn't inform me. So I wasted my money for 2 days because I wasn't able to use the breakfast voucher. It wasn't my fault it was the front desk that gave me misinformation.

Can’t believe this hotel bears the Marriott name. They state on Hotels.Com that they have a restaurant and lounge. They have neither. Also has no elevator. My shower drain was clogged and sink drain stopper was broken. Also no microwave in room and fridge froze everything and could not be adjusted. Travel four days a week for work and this was a terrible experience.
