The hotel is bright and updated. But the real highlights are the restaurant and the beach itself. The beach can only be described as perfect. I’ve been visiting for years.

We were at ocean front view and it was spectacular. The sand was clean and nice to walk on. We were lucky with the weather, it was sunny and no rain. We stayed only couple of nights for our 31 years anniversary and we needed to stay local. However, we wanted to have some tea at night and we didn't have a microwave to heat water. Also, if we needed to reach our car, we need a valet parking person to bring our car regardless if it was only for getting a simple thing -kind of inconvenience. Regardless, everything else our stayed was great.

Great time! Can’t wait to come again! All of the wait staff in the restaurant and at the pool were all awesome! Food was delicious and the ocean from view was everything!!

This was our first time visiting the Delray Sands resort. The location could not be better, right in the heart of Highland Beach and directly on the ocean with a beautiful pool and private beach set up for the guests. Food service is provided by Latitudes, One of the best restaurants in the Delray Beach/Boca Raton area. We were disappointed with our room as it was a corner room (318) and had only a small 1/2 patio instead of a full-size patio because of the configuration, the patio was unusable due to the, exhaust from the room air conditioners, making it unbearably hot. The hotel is also in need of a significant upgrade to the furnishings in the rooms as they are very dated. All things considered, however, we will return again and have already booked our next stay there in November 2024 and January 2025. Thank you again for great stay!

We stayed 3 nights. Rooms are renovated and big. We had an Ocean View room and it is worth the extra money. The restaurant at the hotel is great and beautiful. Staff at the beach, restaurant and valet are great and make sure guest have an amazing time.

The accommodations were a surprise better than anticipated, I discovered a great new gateway that is semi-local from home, very satisfied!

This is not the first time staying at Delray Sands, we love this hotel. But this particular stay was bad. Do NOT accept room 134 at check-in, it is located very near to a generator room, and the generator would make an awful sound ALL night long, non stop, really annoying. You will not be able to relax and sleep any night. I don't even want to think about the people staying at room # 139 which is located right next to the generator room. Also, room #134 is just in front of an employe/cleaning service people room. Door face to face with that room. It is used as a "headquarter" where everyone concentrates in their free time and they are very loud, not being considerate with the guests staying in the adjacents rooms. Their conversations starts very early in the morning, any day, shouting and giving instructions like they are in a park. I will definitely stay there again, but as in the past, I will request a room in a higher floor.

Every thing was great

The hotel has conditions, but my family and I think it has lost quality, pets are allowed which is not correct. We have stayed at the hotel 7 or 8 times, since it belonged to the previous owner. I don't think we will visit it again.

Excellent place for a weekend getaway. The whole experience was memorable. The staff were personable and helpful. The restaurant cuisine was delicious. Room service was efficient. Nice pool and pool bar. The beach was perfect. Having food and beverage service on the beach was an added bonus. Located on a quiet island. Reasonably priced quaint resort located right on the ocean.

Friendly staff! Food was excellent also. I was shocked because it is the “ off season”.

Best beachfront hotel in Delray/Boca area

Property was perfect the only thing was the ac that was turning off every 15 min and didn’t have the option to leave on.

The following morning woken up by loud painting & loud conversations. Heavy paint smell from hallway into my room

Had a wonderful stay here with a friend. The place is clean, right on the beach and has everything you could want from a beach vacation. The onsite restaurants was consistently good and the beach chairs and umbrellas were plentiful. Shea who works on the beach (umbrellas and chairs) went above and beyond and was an absolutely pleasure.

The location of the hotel was high end and beautiful by the beach.
