We got the room with no window we knew that booking and were very happy with it except there was no door for the bathroom

This property is very close to the train station which was convenient for us. The entry into reception was a little confusing, as the door off the Main Street was locked and this was the door that had a ramp for trolley bags. Instead the entry was a small side door with a few steps, which led into a bar area. The check in process was swift. Our room had the strangest layout of any hotel we've visited - the bed at entry, an open bathtub/shower area and vanity, closed toilet room, then a large area with a desk. The window at the end of the room. I wanted to open the window a bit, but it had a little enclosure before the open air - it was pretty dirty with cigarette butts. The room was very dark. The bed and linens were very comfortable. So for one night it was fine, but if you are not comfortable showering in the open this room is not for you. We definitely did not get a room that was pictured on Expedia. Based on our room, it is a 3 star accommodation at best.

Terrific room with great shower and bed. Superb breakfast, one of our best-ever hotel breakfasts; all the ingredients were of the highest quality.
Extremely friendly and helpful staff.
Plus a non-hotel extra (!): “Alex”, the restaurant/pub diagonally opposite the hotel (to your left), has an amazingly talented chef (from Bari, Italy), hiding in what looks like just a pub. Don’t be deceived! Try the carbonara - we only had it 3 times in a week!

We had a nice stay. You can bring your own bikes with you and they are safe in the closed backyard. We had the superior room with king bed. Nice room. Bed is a little too soft for us. Only thing is the price, it ain’t cheap.

The staff was helpful and attentive, and my standard king room was comfortable and quite quiet (despite being on the 1st floor and facing the street). The location was excellent and convenient, especially for arrival and departure from the train station, which is only one block away. Overall, a pleasant, simple and straightforward spot to stay for a business trip.

We had a nice view on the main street, but this also comes with some extra notice in the evening because of the nightlife.
The shower is not constructed very well. There is no door, so the air besides the water stream is cold. En in order to stand directly under the water stream, you have to stand on top of the drain.

Staff are all amazingly friendly. Room was very clean and beds were comfy. Looked newly redecorated. Location was excellent. Easy to drop luggage and check in.

A design hotel with very limited design. All furniture in the room was made of dated birch veneer with a 'kiss' poster from Ikea. Bed was comfortable though!

Brilliant location, close to railway station, but without noise. Great neighbourhood, close proximity to great restaurants, the river Maas and old city Centre. Great breakfast, environmental offer regarding cleaning, did not sit well.

During the booking there was an option to choose rooms without daylight; we paid more to get a room with daylight, and the corresponding photos showed a bright room. We were therefore very disappointed to be in a long, poorly laid out room with no daylight to speak off, as the facade at the back of the hotel prevents light coming in: we were basically looking at a grey concrete wall at a meter away from our window, with gaps allowing us to look down on the street, but not see any sky. The poor lay-out was caused by having a bedroom area with tv, narrowing to a corridor which was the bathroom, opening up again in a sitting area - without tv, and hardly any daylight - just awful. One of the guys at the check-in desk was very apologetic, and after 2 nights we could move into a room at the front of the hotel which was much brighter, and they gave us a bottle of wine to make up.

A bit disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and general areas such as the lobby and elevator. The location is excellent. We were facing the street and it got a bit noisy at night.
