We had a lovely stay. Breakfast was very calm. Staff was very friendly and honest about parking being free nearby during weekend and didn’t try to sell a space in their garage. The suite was beautiful and family friendly. A bit worn in places but cleaning was spotless and the first impression was well… impressive!
Only minus was the lack of drapes for the lower window in the middle of the suite as the neighbours across the street could easily see us at night and our kids like to run around half-naked before bed.
I would also have prefered a shower over a bathtub or possibly to have had both as the bathroom was large enough to have contained both. But that is just my personal taste!
Would definitely recommend it if you want to explore the town on foot as the location is probably the most central yet at the same time on a not so busy street.

A bit expensive parking (130 SEK) considering the price of the room is already expensive. Pillows were too big for allowing comfortably.

We had a really nice stay at Västerviks stadshotell. Good location with walking distance to almost everything and super friendly staff.
The breakfast was really good and there was a lot to choose from! The gym and spa section was OK as well.

There was limited access for disabled persons - I use a walker and when we wanted to use the pool area there were a lot of stairs. My husband helped me down the stairs to the pool. The pool was very small and 5 feet deep.i feel that pool is very unsafe due to depth and is limited to only those who can swim. There was also NOTHING there to help someone if they ran into difficult when swimming. The parking is very limited and expensive. The front staff would try and pass you off until you asked to speak with the manager. We travel a lot and would not recommend this hotel to friends.The breakfast was excellent.

Fantastic breakfast but the Wifi in my room sucked. Althogh there was a Chromecast in every room, but I couldn’t get mine to work. Parking is good. Overall very modern and clean.

The bed is small and I doubt that the sheets are in cotton. The shower is also very small.

Nice hotel with good wifi and breakfast, and very close to the harbor. A bit difficult to reach by car due to pedestrian zones and one way streets. Parking in underground garage is available for an extra fee.

This was one of the nicest hotels we had on our trip. It is situated close to the town and harbour. Very friendly staff 24/7 reception service and free coffee at the lounge. Two big bedrooms, nice bathroom, relaxing Spa.
Also good breakfast.

We had a very enjoyable one day stay in the hotel. The staff was extremely nice and helpful in all respects. The hotel is very well located to all amenities. Good quality breakfast was provided. Coffee and biscuits were available all day long at the lobby.

Beautiful harbor town not frequented by American travelers. Hotel was lovely with plentiful breakfast, comfortable, spacious and clean rooms, friendly and helpful,staff.

Stayed for 4 nights on bed and breakfast basis at the end of the high season so hotel was quite quiet. Great rooms. Coffee and tea available for free 24 hours at reception. Friendly staff and great breakfast. Location is minutes from the harbour. Would definitely go back.
