Convenient.

Visiting Atlanta for a concert, stayed here for two nights. This was close enough to downtown, but not right in the middle of it. Free parking. First room given the door would not close and lock properly. The door latch plate was completely ruined. Went to the front desk, person was nice but wanted us to wait while it was fixed. It didn't look like an easy fix. We were assigned the room next door. The door was ok. It did close and lock, but was difficult to open. The same with the bathroom door. Could use a new shower curtain (ripped and snaps falling off). Beds and pillows were comfortable. Everything appeared to be clean. 2nd night of stay, got back late from the concert. There was a roach on the wall. Yuck! If there's one, there's more. The only food we had was in the refrigerator. The freezer portion had too much ice buildup. Very quiet while in the room. No road noise, no visitor noise.

The property staff were very friendly and the location was convenient for the purpose of trip. The property needs a huge makeover. The bathroom ceiling had mold and chipped paint, the handrail in shower was coming apart, and the commode seat needs to be replaced. And I’m a non smoker every thing in the room smelled like smoke!

The ac didnt work and another room the knobbs on the tub was broke. The hotel charged my card another 78 dollar's. And then we had the staff came to our room at 11 pm and just handed me toilet paper and walked away and didnt say anything. 30 minutes later another staff member came knocking and when i answered the door they said sorry wrong room and walked away

This place was the worst!!! There was a lot of people hanging out by the front door. Which wasn't a problem everyone there was friendly. But the staff had a big attitude when it came to the breakfast. They want us to pay for breakfast which isn't a problem but when we try to see what all they offer it was the reg breakfast hotel have for free. But we still would have paid until the lady had an attitude about us walking in and looking. She was loud rude and yelling at us like we was a customer. I stay in low budget motels that treated me better.

Pool and location

Checkin representative was great Check out person didn’t even want to give me a receipt Major construction in the area And very outdated have the DoubleTree/Hilton name The gym was fairly nice and the machines actually worked Unstaffed in the kitchen bar area Food takes forever Joe the bartender was very nice. Someone waited for chicken for almost an hour They should have more staff in the kitchen

In the first room, they provided the door jam, havr trouble lock and unlock door, they replaled a room. The second room windows were terebly dirty looks like no boddy washed them since hotel was build.

I would of rated a 5 across the board but Breakfast should be included

We were upset when at 9am house keeping told us we needed to be out of room as we missed check out time to then grab our bags to get out and went to check out at front desk to be told actually we have till 11am

The stay was average. The property needs to be renovated. The room I was staying in had no remote control for the TV and the in room phone did not work at all!! House keeping didn’t replace the towels or bath mat. The only thing that saved the stay was the staff that worked there! Super friendly and accommodating!

It was closer to Emory University.

Customer service was great but the first room I had had mold they moved me in another room it was ok. Supposedly they are under renovations..

My husband was in the hospital for surgery and we weren’t sure when he would be released to go home. When we first checked in, we asked the front desk if we could check out early if need be, the lady was rude and didn’t care what we had to say, it wasn’t there fault if we could stay or not. They were getting paid. When they finally did release my husband, we still had one more day until check out. we asked one more time since we just had one more day left if we could check out early and be refunded for that night. The lady at the front desk said that since you booked through a third party, that wasn’t their problem. We called Expedia and they were willing, they just needed the hotel’s permission. So our agent (Mario) called double tree for us, they still declined our request. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that they are a business and this is their job, but the fact that we #1 were talked to like a piece of garbage by staff and #2 not given any care or concern in our time of need is bull. I understand they have a policy but I feel like there could have been some exceptions made. We could have easily been given a refund for the ONE NIGHT. I’m very upset with this hotel. And we don’t plan on ever going back.

Property looks abandoned.

Property was located on a very busy highway. Heard extremely loud traffic all night long. The rooms were clean, but the AC vent had mold around the register. I did not sleep the entire night. I will never return to this property.

Restaurant was closed but could order at bar. TV dropped signal every 15-20 minutes.

The check in time was 3:00 We couldn't get a room until after 4:00. I reserved a king size bed but only a queen was available. Property needs much repair!
