Fabulous time, very clean so friendly, so much to do.

Had a good stay here… the beach is beautiful, and white sand. and because it’s the last hotel on that beach- not crowded. Beach chairs aren’t brought out until a certain time in the morning, so we did have to wait a bit.. but I guess that’s nice cause people can’t reserve them at 6am. Reserved a balcony gulf view room. unfortunately was put on the first floor of their small lower, third building. (Didn’t even realize there were multiple buildings) it wasn’t the most awesome view, but not bad. My only complaint would be to get into any pool area (like ours in the third building) you have to go all the way back to the first building to enter and then walk over.
Great free breakfast buffet!

Great service all around! I had a flat tire and the maintance crew (I wish I had more names) helped me out put air in my tire and even one guy had a plug kit and they plugged it for me! Lifesavers! Also great house keeping and service on beach. Beach area beautiful and well kept

Room was clean property was in good shape. Watch your billing. They attempted to charge us double on a few items Example. They add a charge for over 2 people even if in a 2 bedroom suite. They doubled up the charges for each extra person….. when questioned, the female day manager threw the employees under the bus……. “They screwed this up” then after five minutes, she deducted the correct amount from the final bill with no apology no explanation or anything else and move on with her day. Horrible customer service. Please make sure you watch your Bill closely as they seem to pull this on. A lot of people is what other employees have said. Also note whenever you purchase anything food beverage, etc., they had on an 18% service gratuity fee, The service never seem to point that out, but if you’d ask them, they would say oh that all goes to taxes and not to us, which is a complete lie. So if you go to pink shell, do yourself a favor and check your bill every single day to make sure nothing was added on. It get costly Very quickly.
Just sad this place has come to this. He used to be one of our favorites.

Beautiful place to stay
Still some damage from hurricane a couple years ago but just the fences, so you have to walk to main building to access the pools and beach.

We specifically asked for a room on 2nd floor or higher and were disappointed to be assigned a 1st floor room with no option to get a refund

We had a tough week. We hadn’t had a vacation in a while. We got there late and had some issues. The next morning. Met with the hotel manager. She waved a magic wand! We had the best vacation in years. She even came to our room to make sure we were good! Our kids who needed a break were the happiest I have seen in years! Pool is awesome for parents and kids (cocktails and service is on point. DJ was amazing! Foam pool party for kids was a bucket list item. All I can say. Is thank you Denise (Magician), Alan, Charles and everyone who made us feel like regulars! Also, shout out to Jacks! Amazing breakfast and killer Mimosas!

We had a better experience last year when they were under repair. When i checked in they want you to sit through trying to sell you something. I go on vacation to get away to relax. Then to get to everything you have to walk through the parking lot to the main building including the pool in front of our building. So you walk down to the main building and then back to the pool in front of the building. We were told our building was adults only but we saw a couple families in our building with kids. Lots of mosquitoes. Other than that it was nice.

We had an exceptional stay at Pink Shell this week. All staff members went above and beyond to welcome us, recommend experiences and restaurants in the area, and serve us during our time on property. Special thanks to the following staff: Bonnie at check in; Kevin at vacation club; Sierra at Bongos; Alan, Adjin, Tom, Luke, and Paxton at valet; Billy in management; Ramon, Evelyn, Kile and Tyrique at breakfast at Luke’s everyday. The amenities are great: bike rentals, kayak/paddleboards, gorgeous pools, very private area of the beach, and fitness center. Highly recommend this property for your next trip to Ft Myers Beach!

The stay was wonderful. The hotel is clean and staff is attentive and respectful. The only unexpected issue was the mosquito problem. We couldn’t enjoy the pools, beach or bar area that was located outside because the mosquitoes were terrible. Wish there was an indoor option for evenings like that. The bar also had beds. If the insect problem was not such a problem, it would have been a wonderful and flawless trip, even with the rain.

This was a unique and family friendly resort area. The rooms were very nice, and had great amenities including a stackable washer/dryer and full kitchen. The site is under construction due to a hurricane that hit the area 2 years ago. We were woken up most mornings around 8 by banging outside of our unit (the floor we were on was a staging area for some of the remodel equipment). Other than that, we really weren't disturbed by the renovation work that was being done. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The drinks at the hotel bar could have been a little stiffer for the price. The pools are great (make sure to put your head under the water in the octopool for a neat sound experience), and the water was a fantastic temperature. The beach was powder white sand, and we enjoyed walking the beach. The waters were very murky due to the beach repair work that was being done, so no turquoise waters at this time. I couldn't see my hand 4 inches under the water, and there was a layer of silt nearly a foot deep when you get about 50 ft. off shore. Overall we had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and if we ever make it back to the Fort Meyers area we would stay here again.

Our first time staying at the Pink Shell and it did not disappoint!! Resort is beautiful and very clean. Pools are gorgeous. Breakfast buffet (included with your stay) was very good. We loved our room (think they must have upgraded us) which was gulf front and had a balcony. Beach out front was quiet and lovely. Oh, and use of beach chairs and umbrellas are included!! Although we did not use them, there are craft activities and nature activities daily, which would be great for kids. Other resorts nickel and dime you and make you pay to park, pay for breakfast, pay to use beach chairs…not Pink Shell. And it’s an easy walk or quick drive down to nearby restaurants. Why would you stay anywhere else?

Late August vacation at The Pink Shell. The weather was great, except the late afternoon rain showers. The spacious and cute studio was wonderful. Having a small cooktop and microwave was convenient. Would recommend The Pink Shell if vacationing in the area, especially with the extra amenities to do at the site. 😎❤️🏖️🍹

Beach was muddy, not the hotel's responsibility but it wasn't enjoyable, lots of construction in front of the hotel beach, housekeeper broke into the room even though there was a no disturb sign. No apologies or anything. Lock yoir doors and put a chair or something heavy behind. They have no boundaries.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, facility was very nice villa was clean and well appointed. It’s clear customer satisfaction is job #1. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the quality of the food especially at the restaurant named Rae’s, I was very dissatisfied.

I wish I could rate our stay higher, but this resort simply felt short. We paid $2K for a 3 night stay & expected a lot more. The elevators smell absolutely awful. The resort isn’t the cleanest. We were stuck during a tropical storm & the hotel completely shut down and did not provide any food options for the hotel guests. Water started leaking through the large window in our suite. The island needs a lot of work - a lot of distraction from the hurricane two years ago. Not much to do in the area. I can’t recommend.

Called to check if they were cancelling reservations due to incoming tropical storm Debby. Was made to feel stupid for asking. Continued with trip. The hurricane closed roads. The hotel closed the pools and all restaurants. They charged 16$ for premade turkey sandwich’s that were disgusting. Was offered nothing for compensation. Staff came in our room several times unannounced. Would NOT recommend

We love it here!

The condition was rated lower because the island is still suffering the aftermath of the hurricane. Those areas that have been restored were done very well. There are still a lot of areas needing attention. Overall, they are doing the best they can to get back up to 100 percent and the vacation was very enjoyable. The food at the restaurants was also very good.
