Great place, amazing room, very comfortable. They surprised me with parking fees, but overall very satisfied.

Upon check-in they did not have the king room I had reserved, the forced us into a double bed room. The shower backed up into the tub so I called the front desk (6am). The front desk told me she would send up maintenance at 8:30am, I declined because I would already be gone. The water had a yellow tint to it. They did not offer another room to shower in.

Cons: lots of extra pricing that we weren't aware of when I booked the room. Wasn't happy to be charged to park especially during an approaching hurricane. Found one cockroach on the kitchen countertop. The living room area reeked of dog urine. The dog relief area was extremely small with pipes taking up most of the small space.
Pro: free breakfast and access to food which was extremely welcoming considering we were hunkering down from the hurricane and didn't want to travel to look for food nearby. Pet friendly although didn't allow dogs in the lobby.

We stayed here 5 years ago, so the property itself seems a bit worn in areas, esp. the exterior. The fountain in the pool area was not working or turned on? It’s a nice feature, so would be nice to see it working. The side gate leading to the parking lot is unusable, so it was a little annoying. It would be convenient to be able to access it. The pool is nice, but the hot tub was lukewarm after the 1st day. It rained quite a bit, so it would’ve been nice if there were more outdoor furniture in the covered patio area to sit and relax in while it rained if you wanted to be outside. We love that the hotel is ocean front and you can see and hear the surf from your room. All the staff are very nice and helpful. We love the suites with kitchen and balcony, super convenient. The rooms are nice, but feel a little worn also. Guest services were super responsive and quick when we made some room amenity requests. The breakfast is great and has a wide variety of options. It would be nice if there were some more food options or like a complimentary happy hour for guests with lite appetizers and beverages. It’s very quiet overall, you can faintly hear music playing. I would turn the music up and also the tv’s playing. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and can see us returning again in the future.

The hotel is very nice. Super clean and well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is great, lots of variety for everyone. The restaurant in site has really good food and is very convenient as you can eat inside or in the pool. The pool is delicious and clean and the jacuzzi is really good. The beach access is right outside the pool. The room is very clean and spacious and the beach view from the room and bed is gorgeous. And the gem of the place off course the beach, beautiful and relaxing, great for family with kids or couples. Everyone at the hotel and the area are very nice. Definitely coming back.

We had the kitchen suite which was great because it was very large and we had a family of 5. Perfect location for beach, pool was very nice. Personal all were great would definitely book again. The only thing I would suggest is giving it a cosmetic makeover, and replace tables and chairs by pool as they are really rundown. A shout out to the cook or cooks breakfast was spot on everyday!!!!! Bartender was awesome definitely good with everyone especially children. She does an awesome job! Thank You for making our vacation easier:)

The hotel was nice and served breakfast everyday. The elevators were often out of order which caused congestion. The hotel is nice but needs updating and while clean it wasn't super clean. The pool was really dirty most of the time. Overall we had a good experience.

The property itself was not bad. Great location right on the beach. But the rooms…. Our AC didn’t go below 74 even being set lower. The water pressure for the shower was horrendous. Literally took 20 minutes to rinse your hair out.

The room is super clean, the staff are very nice, breakfast is good. The hotel in general is very good. The only fault is that there's no water pressure in the shower. For bald people like me, this isn't a problem, but for my wife, my daughter and my boys, who have a lot of hair, they just couldn't wait to get home and take a real shower.

Overall, it is an okay place to stay. The suite is comfortable. However, we stayed there for six days, and despite requesting that our room be made, they never did, not even once. On the third day we found a bag of towels and toilet paper in our door. We ran across the housekeeping ladies and asked them for the service but we never got it.

Reservations were made in April for 2 rooms for a July trip. I asked for both rooms to be on the same floor and was told we would have rooms next to each other. When we arrived the rooms were on separate floors and we were told there was no way to fix that. Sliding glass door to balcony had thumb latch removed and it was locked with no way to open the door and access the balcony. Other than that it is a nice property with nice amenities and a good breakfast.

The front end lady, refuse to change me to another room when I explain that my balcony was dirty. An she hang up the phone twice, them I decide to go to the lobby and ask for a manager them the manager get me another room, the problem is no the rest of the staff but the associative thwart have the 15th at 4;00pm she don’t deserve work for this place

First time to Daytona Beach in five years. Nice hotel. The suites are spacious for a family of four. Good breakfast options. The sea wall and balconies need some paint but overall it’s a nice hotel.

All the reviews about this hotel from the past couple of months are all very outdated. This hotel has been renovated and has new management. I stayed here for a whole week, and it went amazing. Staff were very friendly, especially Mrs. Rain and Mrs. Arie. This pool is fine it's just that it's warm, and people use it for a bathroom, so just be aware. The free breakfast they have is amazing, really saves somebody money if you're not willing to spend on restaurants. Although it does it full, it's worth the wait. The rooms are cleaned to its fullest, the housekeeping employee Mrs. Camila is very nice. The only problem with the rooms is the A/C. It has trouble with changing the temperature, but it will eventually "cool" the room. The beach access is very nice it's literally just a couple of steps away, which is a timesaver.
Any bad reviews you see are either old or have had different experiences. This is my opinion and it's up to you to decide on how you'll take it.

It was absolutely amazing up to the point that I saw free Willy and skipper trying to piggy back ride each other down the coast while watching rerun episodes of Lassie. I still can't believe they never seem to find the little mermaid. That little girl was my favorite. Other than that the ice cream they offered in the lobby until 3pm was a nice gift I kept thinking it was a prize I had won down the road at the mini golf place which is if you can't tell was one of the best 18 holes I ever have hit even tiger woods was there.

Somehow we were put in a handicap room. It would not have been my first choice, but it was clean and comfortable. This hotel provides huge beach towels for use at beach and pool.
We really enjoyed our stay here. I guess if there were areas for improvement, one would be we were told if we wanted our room cleaned it would need to be before 10:00 am. That's unreasonable for people on vacation but it was also untrue. We flipped on the housekeeping button every day between 9:30 and 11, and our room was cleaned.
I also hate the huge bottles of soap and shampoo that ALL hotels are using now. Housekeeping doesn't always check them and they are either empty or so low that their very small pumpers can't dispense anymore. This is not just a residense end problem. Hotels need to go back to providing single use items.
I would definately stay here again.

The bar/restaurant area was extremely understaffed - the service was ridiculously slow. I think I stood there for 10 solid minutes just to get a fork! There was one table in the restaurant and she was over her head and had a hard time taking/filling any more orders - even just a drink order.
Our overall stay was a disappointment-the GM that was on duty was rather rude.
One of the outside showers was out of service and the other one only partially worked.

Very friendly staff at pool side bar and restaurant. Delicious free breakfast everyday. Kids loved icecream trucks on the beach and evening swims in the pool. Surprisingly the pool was never crowded

Tried to down grade are 2 bedroom suite to a one bedroom suite because we had less people coming and it said it was available to do so and then once I tried to do so it said It wasn't available even know it was..I had an issue with credit card fraud not related thru Expedia but I had to get a new credit card number from when I made the original transaction and tried to explain this to Expedia and they weren't able to help so even if I had gotten a refund for my room it would have gone to a card that doesn't exist anymore and wouldn't have been able to go on my trip..as far as the hotel I've never had to pay to park everyday that I was staying there so after I paid almost 2k for my stay they added another 80 to park my car for 5 days..crazy..besides that everything was pretty good..carpet in are suite was fraying at all the edges are refrigerator looked like it was shoot with a bb gun about 50 times.. but we did have a great time and my kids had fun that's what was important..a couple staff member stuck out for the good and a couple for not being very helpful..over all it was an average stay at a hotel..and most of my issues were with exxpedia service
