I just expected as a resort hotel to have some entertainment. More kids activities, like in the pool. Even the bar area was boring. Golf area is only allowed for members and the water park was great. Food and alcohol is extremely expensive. For what you pay for this hotel it should offer much more.

Beautiful property with a great pool. The pool can be busy but get there early and the kids can easily get some slide time in. Parking is expensive at $45 a night for self park, but I get the sense that is the standard in the area

Nice resort. The room was ok. Clean and big enough for 5 people. The pillows were terrible. There were many people screaming and partying till late, and although we called.the front desk, nobody came to make them quite. Any extra activity was super expensive. In addition, there was no activity during August, although it's still summer vacation... The elevators.in the building didn't work when we arrived, and the morning we checked out (9 days later...).

Very kids friendly hotel with a wonderful water park for family

Everyone was super nice. The hotel was extremely clean and the water park was great!

Great staff but a little expensive dining options in the water park.

It was best experience ever!! Only one person that did not make it easy for us, and gave us a hard time ( the server in the breakfast place we had included in our stay)

The room was cleaned and comfortable. The water park was a great addition to our stay and our kids enjoyed it very much.

We really liked the resort with variety of things to do. The spa service from masseuse was fantastic but spa attendant not very professional.

Location

There is always a long line to check in and they don’t explain things like parking. There is no microwave or fridge in the room. Well, there is a minibar, but you can’t put anything else.

Not even sure what the VIP access was. . .for a JW I thought it would be in better condition overall. Half the time 1 of 2 elevators didnt work & then for an entire day neither worked in our building. Hallway in building & walls were dirty. Pool had not been maintained very well & pool attendant not friendly nor did he speak English. Only 2 restaurants & one was the golf club. A lunch for 3 was over $200 - a club salad, a cheeseburger & a sandwich. Burger & fries tasted like they were from Red Robin. I’d say most people stay here for the ritzy atmosphere.

Very decent, the kids love it

I was helped by Moe, at check in, she was sweet, nice and very professional. Because it was my birthday she was so kind to give me early check in and a complimentary late check out, making my experience a lot better than what I was expected. Thank you Moe for such a nice gesture and a birthday gift, my daughter and I really appreciated that.

Horrible service

The front desk staff was extremely nice and so were the servers around the pool. I was able to check in early, which was awesome, so we went to our room to drop off our bags and headed down to the water park - which is always fun. Every worker I encountered at the resort was extremely kind and friendly. The pool side service was surprisingly quick and our food and drinks were good. I rated the property three stars because the one thing I can't stand to see at a hotel is a dirty room. I asked for an updated room - which I was granted. My room had stains in the carpet, mold in the shower grout, a broken lamp, and dirt/dust along the baseboards. I also deducted a star for the lack of turn-down service and free water. Most hotels will place one free bottle of water per night on the bedside tables - which is always super appreciated for taking pills or quenching your midnight thirst. You have to pay for a bottle of water here and don't dare touch it if you're not going to use it - the mini bar is on a sensor system. The other reason this hotel only got three stars is because there were no bath robes or slippers offered - you definitely can't be a 5 star hotel without those items. Solid 3 star hotel.

Restaurant breakfast buffet- food was average, staff was average. Not prepared for large crowd. Obviously there was a large convention on property that took away staff. The bellman were terrible. There doesn't seem to be any type of system. Fri t desk and greeters were great. Staff at spa were great. Food options at pool- average. Very disappointing. Would not choose this property for my own personal travel.

Excellent place

Housekeeping arrived at 4pm to clean for the first time while my family was trying to rest after a long day at the water park. They took one hour to clean the room while we waited n the hallway. We had to request housekeeping service 3 times. Valet parking took 45 mins each time to retrieve the car.

Staff was awful when we checked in we requested cribs it came after three times calling The next day we asked for extra towels didn’t receive it until our 2nd call in to request our last and final day was the icing on the cake went to get the car after 1hr of not receiving it we loaded it ourself and just asked for the key which they couldn’t find and then came 20min later and handed it to us. Only reason we came here was for the water park That wasn’t even good service as we had to ask them to clean the chair and then ask again for towels which they just handed to us

Reasonable - tidal cove nice, hotel nice without being amazing (compared with other JW Marriotts). Breakfast limited could be bigger with more choice. Cost for stay not justified and better options for the money.
