I would HIGHLY recommend Hotel Acacia for a city break in Bruges. The hotel is situated one street away from the main centre of the city as well as all the shops and restaurants- never stayed in a hotel this close to a city centre before, for such an affordable price. The hotel were also great at communicating and allowed me to reserve a parking space prior to our arrival so we had no issues there. The rooms were a great size, very comfortable and the breakfast had so many different options - couldn’t recommend it higher!

Really nice hotel and couldn’t be in a better location, gated car park (needs booking - at a fee but worth it) lovely breakfast too. Room needs some adjustments, velux window was partly open on arrival and wouldn’t fully shut. Limited amount of plugs especially for the kettle (very random). Friendly reception staff, would come back

The hotel was in a central place right near the train station and trams lines. Which was perfect to travel about.

The hotel itself was pretty nice, room was decently sized for Europe and pretty comfortable. One issue was the lack of communication when it came to parking. It says that they have parking available, but unfortunately, that really wasn't the case. I had to park off site, which is fine, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time so I could have driven straight there, especially in such a difficult to drive in city.
The breakfast was solid. Bathroom setup was weird (toilet separate from rest of bathroom).
Location was AWESOME, a minute walk to the main square.

Good value for money in a great location. Front desk not very friendly - did not inform us of road closures, so by the time we found out, we had to scramble to the city Center for a taxi to make our train by precisely 30 seconds.

The location is very central, both close the square, shopping street and restaurants. Despite the central location, it was very quiet and save. The room was big, newly renovated and very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The weather was a bit cold at the time of our stay but the radiators were so effective and powerful, that it was a delight to return to our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Absolutely recommend.

Rooms are very basic. Some things in the room weren’t working and when I asked the person in the front desk they were not very helpful or interested in fixing the problem. I thought that for a 4 star hotel things would be better but they weren’t. Rooms were not even decorated just white walls all around.

Brilliant hotel location with gated parking (entrance is around the corner from the hotel). Nice outdoor courtyard and indoor bar area. Room wasn’t quite ready when we arrived at 3pm, but we didn’t have to wait too long for it, and the receptionist was very apologetic. Room had a sofa, which is always nice to have.
You have to pre-book the parking space at Hotel Acacia, and (within 24 hours of arrival) register your vehicle for access to Bruges Old Town, otherwise you risk a fine for daytime access.

We stayed for one night at Hotel Acacia May 2024. The hotel was very clean and sophisticated, very updated. Room and bathroom were comfortable and spacious. The concierge helped arrange a limo service for us the next morning. Great customer service.
