Wonderful place to stay. Was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Restaurant was good and had live music. Breakfast was also really good. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms were clean, however windows really bad, couldn't even see out of them.

First of all stay : our room had window didn't sealed properly ! Although heater was on full night due to window big open we were not able to close ! We were sleeping in cold whole night with 2 years old ! He is now sneezing whole day !! Next day morning breakfast, even after requesting high chair for our son , server didn't provide till end !! Cleanesss 10/10 but server n room service need little attention for customera

Outstanding service. Very clean and well maintained. The included breakfast is miles ahead of any Best Western I have stayed in. Beautiful location along the River.

I got in around 7 pm and visited the 365 bar. It took over an hour to get food and a glass of wine and I had to walk up to the bar finally to settle my bill. The next morning I woke up to a room with the no running water! Worst experience anywhere this year!

Stayed at the Riverside Hotel for 4 nights, we had a blast at the pool - hot tub and whirlpool were a great bonus. Breakfast is what you would expect for a hotel buffet, no complaints; omelet bar was a nice touch!

Just a pleasure. Pool was great, conference room was well kept, asscessably was good as well. Good breakfast and great location for restaurants.

Well I have mixed feelings about our stay. The hotel is large and a bit of a maze - the map given has printing errors so 1st time it’s easy to get lost. Parking can be challenging as the various lots get full. Breakfast is ok, the made to order omelettes are excellent but the rest is bang average and quite often you have to wait to be seated, on the first day there were 10 people in front of us. It is very busy with conferences going on and lots of people. The free shuttle to downtown is good but the return wait was lengthy - they do say they prioritise the airport runs but when you ring up for collecting from downtown then wait an hour as the shuttle was diverted to an airport run a call to advise of the delay would’ve been nice. The location by the river is nice and the Sandbar patio bar was excellent with great food & live music. The room was nice and the beds comfortable, although initially the TV didn’t work properly - reported it to the front desk as we went out then on our return had to ring down as it hadn’t been fixed, then strangely started working ok. Overall I would sum up the hotel as its trying hard to be upmarket but I feel it’s like an all inclusive resort, it’s like a jack of all trades but master of none. Out of 4 hotels we’ve stayed at on this trip this is definitely No 4 on the list.

We have had such a great staycation. Everyone from check-in to the housekeeping staff has been so kind and friendly. We love the pool!

It was a pleasant surprise to get offered a cookie upon my arrival. The staff were great, thorough and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is the best I've ever had at a hotel, with absolutely amazing house-cooked maple bacon that had to be 1/4 inch thick. The tub was very large and the counter space in the room was very long and spacious. I couldn't have been happier with the large size of the room, the great staff and the delicious breakfast. I came on a Monday night, so there was too long of a wait for my preference at the Sandbox because Monday's are live music nights, but I'm sure this would have been a plus if I was able to factor it in. Plus this hotel was right by the River Walk so I could walk to my conference each morning, enjoying the beautiful scenery and great weather.

Celebrating a friends 50th great time but initially was excited about the band at the SandBar they cancelled and we had no music and then no food or drink service at the pool but we made do!!

Love staying at the RS for all its amenities . . Glad to see there are plans for room renovations. I stay here a lot and depending on what room you get the plumbing. Can be terrible .

The hotel is quite dated but somewhat charming none the less for a hotel of this size, the staff are really friendly.

Even though it is on the pricey end we enjoy staying at the Riverside when we are in Garden City. Being right on the greenbelt with lots of breweries, wineries, and restaurants is very convenient. They always have something going on and the outdoor pool, lawn area and Sandbar are great.

Very beautiful facility, rooms were very clean and comfortable. Checking in was easy, room was not ready. They did give us two complementary drinks because it took them so long to have the room cleaned.

Loved the convenient location, the easy transportation around the area was awesome, the staff was pleasant, the large rooms were great, the hotel amenities were fantastic and easy walk to the winery next door! Will definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great resort with bike paths and outside restaurants and bars on the river. Very safe feeling area. Enjoyed the pool.

It was ok. One issue is that the room was advertised on Expedia as a room with a 'view,' however they don't specify that there is a river view and also a courtyard view, and i got the courtyard view which was a little disappointing.

The rooms are nice. We had a refrigerator, microwave, balcony and double heads in the soaker tub/ shower. The outdoor pool and hot tub was great. They have live music at night and a free buffet breakfast.

I like the amenities and how quiet it was I was a wonderful place to stay for what I wanted to do

Awesome 70's retro vibe hotel. Great location next to river, winery, brewery. Fun outdoor pool area where they serve you drinks and food. fantastic free breakfast buffet with hot and cold food. Guest & food services all around outstanding. The only thing that was puzzling was house cleaning. re-stocking supplies and a quick wipe of counter top areas would have been nice.
