The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Only downside is the area outside is noisy but that's no fault of the hotel

The best things about this property were the staff. We pulled up to the police being called to the property for a disturbance. There were people hanging around the parking lot and in the hallways. The best part of this hotel was that the front desk staff who went above and beyond to make sure we felt safe. Rey from the front desk even helped with his own personal property when I forgot my contact solution. Tamika helped with our towels more than once when we weren’t provided with enough. Overall, we weren’t happy with the area and constant noises but the actual hotel was decent and the staff were amazing!

Blanket need to be replaced because it smelled terribly of body odor. The tub drained very slowly and was filling up during my shower. Had some sketchy experiences with locals almost every time I left the hotel. Not a great time. The staff were very nice and polite though.

The property itself was nice. The neighborhood was a little run down. It was a short drive to the lake. Lots of restaurant choices.

The suite we stayed in was nice. The floors looked like they could have been mopped a little bit better- my toddler’s feet got dirty after her bath at the hotel and she was walking around barefoot. Otherwise the only other thing I wish was different was more of a privacy fence around the parking lot. The roads on all sides of the hotel are very busy and I think the current fence takes away from the updated look inside the hotel.

The customer service was great, very friendly staff. The location was terrible. We were all wpken yp at least 3x by police sirens, and by super loud traffic. The rooms have been updated and theyre nice, but the floors were filthy. I washed my kids' feet before bed and the towel i used was disgusting. With carpet, i understand you cant shampoo it every time. But these are laminate, easily moppable. They were just gross.

Stayed the weekend and it wasn’t bad. The room was clean, small traces of pet hair in the room, and a few tiny stains on some of the comforters but nothing too bad. The location isn’t the greatest, due to it being near a busy road. Must also be near an ambulance house or be the main highway to a hospital. Lots of Police and Ambulance vehicles all weekend long. I personally wouldn’t book here again, but that’s my personal choice, only because I prefer enclosed hotel rooms, not the outdoor entrance style.

The hotel was not like the pictures online at all. They give the impression the hotel is new, probably AI generated. It is not! While mostly clean, the shower curtain was so musty that literally the entire 2 room accommodation smelled. Definitely realized why we don't stay at RRI anymore.

The room was perfect, it’s extremely hard to find a room large enough that fits me (single mom) and my 5 children. I can’t always do multiple rooms because my oldest isn't an adult. But this connection room was amazing. We had space to separate and relax plus store all our beach supplies. I can’t say enough about how nice the staff were either. As soon as we got there we had a clogged toilet, fixed it within minutes. Brought extra towels up right away, very fast and polite.

Great experience at Red Roof in downtown Erie. Was traveling solo for a combination of work and fun. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and met my needs. Convenient location downtown with lots of restaurants/bars/ballpark/etc. within a short walking distance, including bayfront places just about a short 30 minute walk. Presque Isle beaches only about a 10-15 minute drive. Will definitely stay there again if work brings me back to Erie!

First we were checked into a room that had not been cleaned, as this was not the front desks fault she was very helpful and easily changed our room. This room was mediocre at best, dried up dead bugs behind the doors, a water bubble in the bathroom ceiling that sometimes leaked onto you while you were using the toilet. We chose to leave a night early due the the activities happening 3 doors down from our young children ( drug dealing) and we did not feel safe staying.

We were on the 4th floor, facing State Street. The entire night, all we could hear was dogs barking, coming from the other rooms. The security lock was missing screws, so obviously that wouldn't have worked. Our floor was sticky, as well as the desk, which there were 3 dead flies on and a spiderweb on the ceiling above. Area by washer/dryers was dirty, dust all over the railing and vent above staircase FILTHY. We chose this hotel because being within walking distance of our destination. I would have rather walked 5 miles than 5 blocks after this experience. Got ZERO sleep. Not happy. Will not return.

First room we had, the toilet wouldn’t flush so we had to move to a second room. At the second room after returning from eating, the key card to the door wouldn’t work. The staff was very accommodating but it was frustrating changing rooms and getting new key cards. Room was clean, beds and pillows comfortable.

The motel was about 5 miles off the highway but the price was good and the condition was above what I though we might be in for. Yes i would stay there again
