I arrived Friday night and the thought the hotel was closed for construction. The front representative informed me the the c were open for business but were undergoing renovations on the 3rd floor at present and in parts of the lobby. The representative was very pleasant and assuring the operbility of the hotel. The room was good but the air conditioner was very loud, like it needed servicing, maybe something internal was loose. The breakfast bar was the low of my stay with limited/menial items for consumption... Definitely not close to the advertisements on television... but considering the construction, it is what it is. From a management prospective, the conservative decision would be to stop service until the building upgrade construction has been completed... Additionally, there is no mention on the website that the facility is under active renovation prior to, or after booking confirmation.

The staff was welcoming and courteous. The hotel was older and could use some maintenance. The room was very musty smelling. And what made it worse was the price. It was an expensive stay in a musty room!

There was mold on the walls and window seal. Also there was air purifier i. The room to hide the smell of wet carpet and mildew. This was the worst stay at a hotel ever

First they put us in smell like a wet dog. Second room was a little better, but I was tired and did feel like going somewhere else. I would not recommend this motel to anyone.

The room needs a remodel. Mouldy odor in room . Dirty toilet. Rusted lamp fixtures. Very poor breakfast selection. Cold boiled eggs, no scrambled eggs, sausage n biscuits. No fruit. Coffee was good . Pool had no towels and used wet towels were on the floor.

The problems started upon arrival. The two ladies working the desk, clearly hustling to deal with a line of people in the lobby, informed us that the system had been down and had just come back up. These things happen. So I finally get my turn, she very pleasantly got me checked in and directed me to my room. The odor of mold/mildew hit me as soon as I opened the door... warm and very humid inside, not pleasant at all. Looking around the room, noticed there was a dehumidifier... this is the South, sometimes it's a necessity, so no big deal. However, it was already full, and when I opened the tank, the inside was also gross and moldy/mildewed. I emptied the tank and the humidity came back down, but the air quality triggered my asthma to the point that I decided to take the $130+ loss (since I prepaid) and leave a day early. I would have relayed this to the desk clerk when I checked out, but she was STILL cleaning up messes with guests trying to check in and I didn't want to add to her stress. The fact that there was only one tiny pillow for the king bed when I arrived was annoying but quickly resolved. The pool might have been clean, but the worn floor paint made it look brownish and dingy. The desk staff were incredibly professional and gracious in clearing up messes that were outside their control and beyond their pay grade. But the managing partner needs to step up their game because this property absolutely did not live up to the quality expected from a Marriott brand.

Grass around hotel looks like it’s not been mowed in 2024. Elevator needs service. Rest of the inside was surprisingly ok.

The room smelled awful like stale smoke!!! The grounds looked awful. The room had lamps with rust and that were broken. Hallways needed vacuuming. Will not be staying there again. Very disappointed

I am disabled. I use a walker. I’m only 4’11” and can never understand why the beds are so high. Your bed in the handicapped room was easy to get into. The other hotels I couldn’t get in them. They were to my waist. So I will be returning because it’s nice to be able to get into the bed!😂

The continental breakfast was nice however we would not stay there again. We got there close to midnight with our sleepy kids and the system was down and took 20 minutes to check in. There was dust on the coffee pot in the room and there was no tray for the pot so it was not usable. Other than that it was a fine stay but not for $150/night.
