Check in was amazing. Two kind gentlemen (I believe one was a manager and one in training) checked us in. They were pleasant and funny. Gave us good recommendations. The hotel was walkable to many places to eat, and was very clean and up kept. We opted to pass on the breakfast. It was $15 Buffet style… but was honestly the same continental style breakfast we received previous nights at the Hampton. Waffles, toast, eggs, grits, sausage, Muffins…

Stuff was friendly and super nice! The room was really high humidity. Room temperature was chilly and comfy but somehow really humid the whole stay

The elevator and hallways where extremely hot even tho the rooms and bottom floor was cool! The carpet needs redone and thought that the elevator was going to break on us. Other than those little few things my overall stay was wonderful! Extremely nice staff very helpful!

Very close to Brazos River!

We chose this hotel for location (close to downtown). When we arrived to room, it was not very cool and soon realized the AC did not work… they were able to get maintenance to come in minutes (a plus) and they did fix it.. unfortunately other problems or issues made the cost of this stay a bust. Heres the highlights… TV was supposed to include Netflix but we got nothing but “error” message when we tried to watch so it never worked… went to lobby for a nighttime snack and my daughter chose a pint of ice cream… not worth $11 charge to room so advise you skip the Market unless you need something thats an emergency. The beds were extremely hard and the pillows had no support so needless to say it was no sleep and massive neck ache in the morning. The $15 breakfast buffet that was offered was barely the equivalent of the “free” breakfast you get at most average priced hotels. So skipped that for sure… We hoped to get a Starbucks coffee drink before check out , but unfortunately the coffee machine was “out of order” no less. I was hopeful for a good stay but definitely a BUST FOR THE PRICE. I will look elsewhere for my next night in Waco… Sorry Courtyard

Customer service was amazing.

The Good: Bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in at a hotel. Pillows were also comfortable. I was able to adjust the A/C as cold as I wanted. The Bad: Sliding glass door (1st floor) was unlocked when I arrived. The phone in the room was not working. I could not get the body soap bottle to open (pump was broken) and could not get it off the wall without a special tool. Had to get out of the shower wet and grab the face bar on the sink.

The mattresses need to be replaced. It was very apparent to me that they are worn out b/c one side of the mattress was squished down from people always choosing one side to sleep on. The old spring mattresses were so uncomfortable. I was sore after one night. On the 4th day I drove home 4 hrs w/ the seat warmers on to soothe the soreness.

This place is ROUGH. When we checked in someone had found a moldy sandwich in their fridge so they didn’t stay there. We went into our room and there was a stain on the floor. It’s not the staff’s fault — the place is just insanely beat up for a Marriott property. No one is putting money into this location.

The location is great because it’s downtown, right along the river, walking distance to all that downtown has to offer but just outside of the busy part so it’s quiet and easy to get in and out of.

Easy access for one of our members who has to walk with a cane. They could have put us closer to the entrance/exit to make it less of a walk for him, but it was just a minor issue. Beds and rooms were clean and quiet. Still waiting on the $20 charge for incidentals to be refunded to my credit card, since we did NOT use any of their other amenities which would have generated this charge. I will give then two more days before I call them directly for the refund.

We stayed in Waco during an Arctic Blast that had a lot of the town shut down. But the in-house restaurant was quite good and very convenient.

Having never been to Waco, I picked a good place to stay! Walkable river front right across the street. Lots of open space to get the dogs some exercise. Quiet, clean room. And no pet fee!

Great stay, family trip to Waco for one night. It's close to things if you enjoy walking a few blocks.

The best part of my stay here was the $15 breakfast! The least I felt about my stay was housekeeping came @ 8am without a knock or announcement at the door. I felt this was very inconsiderate.

At check-in Thomas was so friendly and made the process so quick. I appreciated his genuine hospitality.

Hotel rated excellent. It was not. Rooms were ok, but furniture scratched, chipped and looked worn Furniture frayed.

Place was great. Front desk personnel were cordial and professional. Will definitely go back!

Pubic hair in the bathroom & towels. Room smelled musty. Beds made noise when you move on them. After being in the room for 30 minutes, house keeping manager walked in to inspect without knocking, and said their sheet said the room showed to be vacant...

Great location for walking around the river. Walking distance to Dr. Pepper Museum and Silos. Very nice staff. Our room faced the courtyard and was super quiet.

This hotel is convenient, clean, comfortable, friendly efficient staff, great location right by the river and close to the Hippodrome concert venue. Our second time staying here and look forward to the next time!

The beds were very comfortable and the room spacious. Breakfast not included and was not worth the price.

Overall good. Housekeeping has to be requested, we weren’t aware. “Breakfast” was fine but overpriced. Might get a better option for just a little more.
