This was a good place to stay. Based off the reviews I thought it would be closer to the city center but it was a bit of a walk and not very close to the metro. The breakfast wasn’t worth waking up for. That sounds like a bad review but really the hotel was nice and a 4 star hotel. We had a short stay and wished we stayed closer to Monastiraki.

Perfect location in Athens. There are several hots spots very close but once you shut the sliding door the noise is gone! The staff is very friendly!

Achilleas has the best shower of the 14 days we have been traveling. Roomy shower area but the toilet & sink area is small with not enough bars & hooks for towels. 2 unique capsule elevators. Spiral & narrow staircase is not lighted enough that it can be dangerous. They should improve lighting asap. Breakfast area is small & items limited so it got old by our 4th day of stay. We love the location and everything is about10 min walk but the hotel must improve signage in the front (name written vertically in one column near the curb) & easy to miss. We missed & passed the hotel twice within the first 2 days. We were assigned 2nd floor though we requested upper floor quiet room. We can hear clinking of dishes from breakfast room 2 floors below. The hotel can also use some newer softer bath towels. Staff is friendly & helpful, good air con & mini frig. We will stay again for the convenience.

Also Thanks for letting me checkout early and leave my bags there until it was time for airport…. And special thanks for getting me a wagon taxi so it didn’t take 2 taxis to get to airport. These people have your back and want your vacation to be a great one

The location was good and it’s decent. Unfortunately the internet was very bad and the laminate in our bedroom floor was coming off.

Location of property is perfect and staff is really cordial. I had issue and got delayed for airport and staff helped me to take taxi immediately

It would be better to have a little table and chair to put on makeup in the room or a bigger vanity in the bathroom. Otherwise, we love staying at Hotel Achilleas. This is the third time I have stayed here starting in 1986 with my mother. Hotel Achilleas is the best!

I like that it was close to all the areas one had to go to, without necessarily being a loud and busy area. It's very conveniently located from the metro. The rooms were very clean and modern, including the bathroom. The room even had a small balcony to enjoy.

This was an excellent place for my family of four. We had a large King plus two single beds. The room was immaculate, so convenient, and spacious enough. It was easily accessible for our travels and we really enjoyed the neighborhood. I would definitely return!

The hotel was kind enough to allow us to check in early and have a cool respite from the heat outdoors after our long travels. My kids and I were so grateful for a clean and comfortable bed, with air conditioning. The room and bathroom is modern and nicely renovated. The location of the hotel is great because it is walking distance to so many of the sites, yet it is also quiet. This was the perfect hotel for us! Thank you

The property was near the center of Athens and close to all the main attractions. The hotel desk staff was really helpful to provide us with guidance on local places to visit.

What a gem of a hotel! We loved the room with all the perfect details such as a nightlight under the sink. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was very central to everything. We were very impressed with the hotel.

Good location and very friendly staff. Adequate breakfast menu. hot and cold options. Stayed in Junior suite with a large balcony. Very large king size bed and clean bedding. Big shower, seperate toilet and hand basin, seperate 2nd hand basin. Mirrors in bathroom and bedroom areas. Lovely fluffy towels changed daily and daliy cleaning if required. Fridge was a nice touch in room , as extremely hot,and allowed uo to buy and store items in fridge. Unfortunately no bar in hotel but plenty nearby.

I made it clear when i was booking this property that we needed two beds because i was traveling with my adult son. The room was supposedly a quadruple sleeping room but it only had one bed and two extremely narrow hard as a board couches. Looks nothing like the pictures. It's dark and dreary. elevator is so tiny you have to fit suck in to fit. The hotel did nothing to help us with the room. miserable.

The communication with the hotel was great from the start. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much hussle for them. The room was very clean, beds very comfortable, breakfast very fresh. Location is perfect. Next time we are in Athens, I will book again.

Achilleas was so much more than what we expected. Savvas and Katerina with such professionalism and kindness really met our needs. The kindly atmosphere that came without effort made us acknowledge to ourselves we will be back and Achilleas is where we will stay. Cheers and God bless.

The Achilleas Hotel was easily accessible and welcoming (both from the staff and the simple decor of the lobby). I arrived before check-in and was able to store my luggage while exploring Athens and evenutally access my room before the proper check-in time. They worked hard to make that happen and I was grateful. The breakfast was nice and included a great variety. I would gladly stay here again.
