I checked in around 15:00, the room looked nice. At 18:00 I decided to go eating at the restaurant and only then I was informed by the people at the lobby that it might have been difficult to find a table. At the restaurant I was informed that no place for me (1 person) would have been available until at least 20:30; I asked if I could get a salad: negative answer. I asked if I could order it as room service, so they could bring it when they had time: negative answer.
Considering the price for the room, I was very disappointed for the lack of service: they should have informed me when I booked or at least when I checked in that they had not enough staff to handle one extra guest.
I will definitely book another hotel next time

A perfect hotel for a stop and go visit with a great restaurant and close to the highway. A lot of charging station for EV cars close by and more.

Rooms are miles away from the reception, very dust rooms and also many cobwebs and spiders in the room. Cleanliness should definitely be improved. Bearing in mind that this hotel has a great opportunity with business travelers as it is right next to the industrial area, it should be improved. Breakfast was plentiful, but no continental options. Lots of confusion by all as the breakfast is all over the area and people cannot find things. Staff at reception are quite poor, spent 10 minutes filling all the details on an ipad that they asked and when its time to get the invoice with the company name, its blank. Took 6 attempts to get it right, including the staff googling for the address and putting what they think is right rather than what you tell them. Utter incompetence, but is the usual Danish standard for hospitality.
Would recommend staying there, but be warned about the cleanliness, although not unhygienic, and the poor staff.

Good property, small room but we knew it would be. Very hot weather there but no air conditioning. Although we paid a few months ago, we were told a few days prior that we would have to move to another hotel for the last day of our stay. The other hotel room was not ready until 3 p.m. Not good enough!

Ok hotel, nothing out of the ordinary. Nice spacious room and bathroom with a tub, but with hairs in the drain. But besides that, the room and bathroom was clean. Limited vegetarian breakfast options

Terrible check in. Room wasn't ready 1,5 hours after check in opened. Was asked to come back. Second attempt I was given room key only to find cleaning hadn't even started. No other room available. Cleaning crew spent less than 15 min cleaning the 2 room apartment from the last guest and left the room dirty. Crumbs on bedside table, dirty carpet, dirt on bathroom floor and walls. Dirt in shower. Stained bed linen. Dirt on "newly made up bed" Used plaster and cigarette butt on patio. Pipework cracking all night. WiFi not able to connect in parts of the room/patio

Lived up to our needs and expectations. Really enjoyed the breakfast. Unfortunately, there was a loud party in the bar until midnight on a Wednesday. Disappointed that the staff in the reception didn't break it up, especially since the reception is open to the bar.

New really nice rooms. Location is ok - definitely need a car. New booking system at hotel is awful and I am grateful there was only a few guests as it took ages to use new system. Didn’t try restaurant.

The Comwell Middelfart is a good hotel that strives to provide upscale amenities at a more affordable price. Check-in and out was professional and helpful. The lobby is upscale. The family room was clean but seemed older than the lobby area. The breakfast was very good. I would stay there again.

Had a good sleep while doing a job that was nearby and took longer than expected, arrived late in evening and left early next morning.
Got a free upgrade of room upon arrival without asking for it. Huge and modern room, bathroom spacy and comfortable, nice view, almost a shame I pretty much only slept there and could not enjoy more.
Breakfast was excellent, high quality products and a big enough number of choices.
Staff was very helpful and friendly.
All in all a nice short stay, can't come up with anything to complain about.

I liked the hotel overall , it was quiet and clean , the breakfast buffet was excellent .Some lesser features for me were : the pillows I found them too flat , there were no facecloths , I asked the front desk , they had NO idea what I was talking about , obviously not used in Denmark , most of their documentation was in Danish only , paying for TV and then only about 6 channels is unheard off by me the WIFI was reasonably priced .I would stay here again though , it was clean and quiet , the staff were friendly , BRING FACECLOTHS :) I would like to see some more info in English.
